I just finished making this shawl… love this easy pattern. I used Lion Brand Ice Cream Big Scoop a #3 in the colour Butter Pecan and hook size 5mm.So it’s not lacey but I wanted a shawl with a little warmth to it.Thank you Crystal for this great tutorial 🧶🥰

This is a beautiful shawl
I'm so thrilled with this project that I stopped 10 minutes early just to say how excited I am! I primarily make shawls, but no intricate patterns that require a lot of counting and stitches that require a whole bunch of repeated stitches in 1 stitch for entire rows. bobbles, puff stitches, cluster stitches and popcorn stitches, as much as I love them, now destroy my joints. So I discovered the lovely stitch pattern you're using with the sc, trpl, sc, trpl, and the COZY, little bumps of squishy texture make the most lovely, snuggly fabric! I made my granddaughter's heirloom baby blanket entirely with this stitch! It was made with Caron Simply Soft Brites in Watermelon (hot pink). The border got the special decorative stitches since this was meant to be an heirloom.
I love the fabric so much I made some blankets using it! I never thought of making a shawl with it! I'm so excited! I even have a great yarn for it.. since I can't spend much on extra yarns right now. I'm excited! Thank you!
