Glad to see you doing more Dream Theater. I saw them with Megadeth on Gigantour around 2004. Killer show. "Panic Attack" would be a good song choice for another Dream Theater song. I hope you do more reactions from them...so much to discover and extremely diverse in sound. Hey man...also check out a band called Pain of Salvation sometime. Oh my goodness, you definitely have to listen to more of this band. I loved this song because it tried to sound (in many parts) to sound like their early days in the early 90s. Different eras of DT have different sounds, hard or soft, but always amazing. Thanks for reacting!

It's the first in a set of 5 songs that encompass the 12 steps of alcoholics anonymous. The next four parts are This Dying Soul, The Root of All Evil, Repentance, and The Shattered Fortress.

If you want something not overly complex, start with Panic Attack, As I Am, or Pull Me Under. If you want something complex but not too long check out Metropolis Pt1, Take the Time, or The Dance of Eternity. If you want complexity with a bit of length, check out Learning to Live, Breaking All Illusions, or In the Name of God. If your ready to change your life forever (for the better) by listening to the epics, check out Octavarium, A Change of Seasons, or the Count of Tuscany.

Very good interpretation of the lyrics and appreciation of the complex musicality of DT, their music is not for everyone even though they are arguably the most talented band to exist but to each their own I guess.
If you want to see some crazy and zany progressive all over the place music, then I would recommend DT's Instrumedley Live at Budokan video, you can see the members playing their instruments and there's a whole lot of transitional change ups throughout the whole song.

Also, I know I'm late but I have two reaction ideas for you, Answering the Call, and A View From the Top of The World.
Both from their newest album. The title track, the second one, is a 20+ minute epic journey about climbing Mount Everest, but like always, they write their lyrics so literally anybody can connect to them and compare their own lives with the music.
