I just love the intro fanfare how they introduce Red!
I forwarded this to Donna Loren herself.
Thanks so much for sharing these fabulous Red Skelton shows.....I have one of his clown paintings I picked up in Las Vegas....wonderful man....
One of the great old time comedian Ed Wynn's last appearances . He died later in 1966. It is a treat to see he and Skelton work together .
I could do without the musical numbers, and I love music, but I am loving that the memory of Red is being kept alive.
I met Donna Loren several years ago and you'll never meet a nicer, more down to Earth person.
PS, She's more beautiful than ever.
I'm loving all these episodes. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed!
Really good one!
Ed Wynn passed away June 19 1966.
I remember reading the news that date. A great loss.
Red's sponsors that season included Philip Morris [Marlboro, Parliament, et. al.], American Home Products {Whitehall Laboratories [Anacin, Dristan, BiSoDol, Heet, et. al.], Boyle-Midway [AeroWax, AeroShave, Sani Flush, Black Flag, Woolite, et. al.], American Home Foods [Chef Boy-ar-dee, Jiffy Pop, et. al.]}, Alberto-Culver [VO5, Command, Rinse Away, et. al.], and Reynolds Metals [Reynolds Wrap].
Barry, thanks so much for your input!
You're VERY welcome!
