For me, when heading in a spot I look for the Pres and while heading over greet each member on the way over. When in the parking lot heading into a event or clubhouse, etc I great every prospect in the parking lot (prospects remember that and they won't be prospects forever) #NationalPres

I feel the same way about the salutes. And as for prospects. A prospect is indeed a prospect, but he is a man first and foremost. Treat the man with the same respect as if you would anyone else thats there. There where 2 prospects in my chapter. I respected them with the same respect as I would any other man. I told them to not be afraid, I'm here so they can learn and to ride. Those prospects actually became brothers that are now close to me. #ghostin.
IMO, prospects need a minimum 1.5 years before they patch, some need double that. It takes time to get to know a potential brother, I wanna know their family, job, work ethic outside the club not just within. Every prospect has to bring something beneficial to the club or why have them? No reason to stack members with quantity over quality.
Nobody calls our prospect :"prospect" or has them do anything. If you lay hands on our prospect, expect the entire club to come to his defense.
You have to love the club like you love your children, it's a part of you for life.
You are 100% correct with your answer it takes what it takes to earn a patch if a person makes it past Hangaround he’s on the right track it’s a long process to get a patch and if he’s was prospected correctly when time comes you will have one hell of a brother that know what brotherhood is all about
When I prospected, I was treated with respect from members of my chapter, but took much shit from other chapters at events. I was lucky enough to get patched with minimal time because I proved myself in many ways and not just by flipping burgers or counting bikes. My advice, put in the work and be yourself.

When I was a prospect I treated my President like a company commander. Would always greet and answer any questions he would ask and perform all task.
He is higher up on the chain of command, if I had questions or comments I would always go to my sponsor.
A lot of people really don’t know the true meaning of respect. You have to give respect to get respect. And some learn it the hard way
Also have to remember who to actually respect. Often times you can respect the wrong people. I learned that the hard way. Got out of a real bad situation and I’m now thriving with real family

The respect thing goes back to like what my grandfather told me along time ago "Treat the Janitor with the same respect as the CEO."

It’s in my wallet, and I’m at the point where I earned my center, I just got to make this trip to make it official. I want you to know that your channel has kept me schooled and on track. I’ve learned a lot from your videos.
I’ve washed bikes, I’ve pulled security, I’ve picked up trash, swept parking lots, watched bikes, washed bikes, and in an unfortunate event I’ve had to throw hands. I love my president like a father, and don’t come at him sideways or I’ll throw hands again. I can call that man right now, from 2 states away, and he would come get me himself. He is a real brother, and a great mentor. HE is the reason I’m the first white boy in our state, there are some in other states, but for almost 5 decades there was none here. This club showed me love, and my president showed me love that I’ve never had before.

You don't act like a tough guy and come across like a reasonable person. I was always taught by beloved Cosa Nostra friends, it is better to be respected than to be feared. Any person can be feared, but respect is earned.
I'm with you on that whole hierarchy of shaking hands in a certain order. I've had people that have refused my handshake for that reason then waited for their pres to get out of a conversation for 20 minutes. Stupid.

i always show respect until people take it as a weakness then i have to prove beyond any doubt that its not.

I felt this. I am a happy go lucky person. I joke and smile and am friendly. I had to show someone that a joking friendly person can also be the dude who did mma and used to get paid to kick people's asses in bars. But then I go right back to friendly and cool afterwards

Prospecting made me who I am today in my club and now that I am raising the next generation, I make sure that they learn the right way. Prospecting is hard ass work but damn well worth it when you get your patch and are called a BROTHER.

I was never disrespected as an ol lady, I was taught also, to have respect for probates. Probates had my back so many times when randoms in the club tried talking sideways to me.

I never had a prospect wash my bike. What I do is call the prospect and any brother who wants to tag along and we go wash our bikes together and have a few beers while doing it. But that's just me. Don't take me wrong, prospects do put effort and do chores but members don't shy away from them as well. After all, a prospect is a brother in the making and should not be treated with disrespect.
When we visit other clubs we always greet everyone without prioritizing rank. Being polite and respectful is all about human decency, not a set of rules.

I'll say this, I'll tolerate a lot if I want something bad enough but there's limits. When someone trashes my old lady or my kids, you're gonna hear about it. If a person talked shit to a member of your family you smash him and if a patch holder from your club did it I would think again is this the club you want to join if a member of your family is fucking up it needs to be brought to your attention so could correct it no one a right to disrespect your family and if I ever heard a person, prospect or. Member say he will quit I would smash him and send his ass down the road if somethings not right you fix it you don’t take your ball and go home

When I was prospecting I checked another clubs president for calling me prospect and told to him I wasn’t his clubs prospect. When it comes to paying dues I always believe in getting what you pay for and use those benefits that are there if I’m Paying dues every month then that should cover my gas to a mandatory run and my room cost unless I was sleeping in a tent and never leaving the party site.

Club me and brothers were starting was going go be 81 support, unfortunately we didn't get all the way off the ground got all are patches but due to some brothers getting in some legal issue and are prez passing away from a heart attack we shut it down for awhile but never restarted but im still 81 suport all the way I respect every body and club in the culture but will always suport the red and white. Just got out the joint hear in oh and as soon as I get a new sled am thinking about bringing it back to life

@@Gimsu you could lose your prospect patch but ir also depends on the club your with and what there bylaws and prospect rules are. If that's some thing your worried about there are all sorts of clubs out there you could always go 99%. This is my feeling on the matter I don't speak for any one but hopefully other ppl pitch in some club life's arnt for every one and there is nothing wrong with that but when choosing a club you have to weigh all your options and what your comfort level is don't jump into to any thing with out using your brain there's alot of good guys in this group that would probly say the same thing but what ever you chose give it your all brother and always keep it on 2s

That’s something a lot dont understand. My (former)people kept trying to push me to prospect and I wasn’t at a place in life where I was mentally prepared to put my all into it. Luckily I wasn’t though. They turned out to be the worse thing that’s ever happened to me. But now I found real family across the country.

I was a hangaround for a 1%club and after about a year I'd seen and heard way to much in fighting and power hungry folks and decided that club had a lot of solid brothers and had some that just wanted that cut to further their own agenda I turned in my support gear and left on good terms and still searching for true brotherhood I worked 💪very hard and learned a lot and I feel like one day I'll find a club that fits me ànd I fit w them..

@@TheMvPSDewayne I prospect for a one peice patch club years ago I was willing to put in he work but as I was prospecting I saw a level of disrespect in the club that didn't sit well with me between the way ppl in the club acted towards each other and the way they let ppl disrespect the club meaning ppl who left the club not turning in therebcuts or not covering up ink and I left that level of disrespect showed me what kind of club they really were

Had a prospect disrespect me outside a HD dealership here in NC, unfortunately for him I had his Pres on speed dial,on my phone. He learned a valuable lesson that day and we have had some good conversations since he patched.

#GHOSTIN We don't have prospects in my Association, but knowing what I do from a brother of mine, I've always treated them with respect, just like I do anyone else I meet for the first time. As far as shaking hands on the way in, it's a MUST! He'll, half the MC's I've been around don't wear name tags, let alone position tags... Don't get caught slipping, that guy you just passed might be the PREZ!!! And if you haven't been to a clubhouse, Don't touch their front or back door, let them do that.

Best thing for me and my journy is that i was around the club for like 6-7 years before being given the opportunity to prove myself. If I was given this same opportunity a few years ago i woulnd never have made it because i was such a hot head and thought i knew more than i really did. I know now that i will be a better brother [ if i make it] than i ever would have been.
No matter full patch or a prospect always so respect and damned respect, as a prospect follow all by laws and put in the work, as a full patch treat your prospect with respect that could be your brother one day and either side of that line always show respect and never down talk your brothers and leaders the more work you in and the respect you show the more respect you'll get.
