To tell you the truth, this is some pretty good relationship advice in general: Don't disrespect your spouse in public, don't talk to your wife about your money moves, respect your wife, don't sleep with another man's wife, and don't argue with another man's wife (let him check his girl).
My ex acknowledges MC culture, as a guy into bikes, but he would always check me in around his friends, never got at his dumbass German friend for checking me, always talked about his money moves with me. So really dude is a 29 yr old little boy who rides bikes for straight adrenaline and doesn't uphold the culture. Now that I broke up with him, I refuse to trust another bike guy to tell me he'd give me a property patch based on my ex's actions. If anything, get my own bike, join a woman's club and let him be a memory behind the exhaust pipe.

I had a friend that was a 1%. I remember that even though I was not seeing him he called me his little sister. I learned that even just female friends a considered like a sister to them. There were times he would ask if I needed anything I would tell him uh no thanks I will be ok and make it. I will never forget this one guy was black mailing me, threatening to hunt me down and all kinds of shit. I told my friend about it several days later at work some guy comes in out of no where and sits down at the bar and watches everything then next thing I notice him carrying a big ass knife on him. He then gets up and walks out. Five minutes later I got a phone call from my friend telling me what happened in work if I saw the guy with the knife. I was like ok why, he was then like you will be fine no one will duck with you and your family lil sis. He even did some digging on the guy who had a bad rep sheet who was a sick stalker. I never once I asked him to do any of that. He said he did it because I was like his little sister.
That's a solid story. I know many men that would do that for everyone they could but to have someone who is there with the power to protect is amazing.

NOTE: I'm not a club member. My wife doesn't see it that way... I find it interesting though. She rides her own two wheels and doesn't get the Ol Lady allures of clubs. I'd actually be interested in if anyone else has felt the way my wife does about it.

Spot on chopper. Not a 1% but a club member 18 years. Our old ladies don't wear any special identifiers, except maybe support t's same as we sell to the general public. Old ladies that cause issues don't stay around long, and when they go sometimes the member goes too. Our old ladies put up with a lot and do a lot for us. They are the ones dealing with our homes and everyone and everything in it when we are on the road, in the hospital, or locked up. They are taking care of the kids, the dog, the cat, etc. A member without a steady old lady? The other old ladies will help make sure things like that are taken care of when that single member is in the hospital, locked up, etc. When we get too fucked up to ride home from the club house, they are who ends up picking us up from the club house in the middle of the night and taking us back the next day to pick up the bike, or getting woke up in the middle of the night when we do come home. Or taking us to the bike shop to pick up the bike after it has been down. When we are having a party, they are often the ones bringing food that they made. Sure, there's a member on the grill or whatever, but its the old ladies dealing with everything else. My guys love my old lady's pasta salad. My P's OL makes the best jalapeno cheese dip- we always get her to make that. Chapter Xmas party? The ladies pretty much make all that happen. ANYONE disrespects one of our old ladies in any way, and they will get circle stomped by the members and probably all the old ladies too. So yes, they get maximum respect from the club and everyone else better show respect too. This is why its so important for the old ladies to know the boundaries and how to act accordingly and not be a problem. If they do this they will find that the club and other old ladies will do anything for them. This is the truth, but this truth isn't as entertaining as what is being put out. The true story isn't that interesting, so the true story is ignored and a made up story is used instead. It is what it is. #ghostin'.
Check it out: I worked in and butcher shop. When a couple would ask for cuts, I got to work they visited my store. When I packed the cut and presented it I acknowledge the female and ALWAYS conducted my conversation with the man. Seems this respect can run long and deep within all of our community.

There is so much misconception about the MC life and especially the 1% but as a Ol lady living it I’m treated better by my man and his brother than I’ve ever been in my whole life. Patched us up after fights. Made sure they had a place to go on holidays. I know some club guys and seems like the family bond is strong.

I was given my property of patch about 2 weeks ago and have been with my Ol Man about 3.5 months. I had to earn it and the brothers had to vote on it and told him I could have it after I hung out with him and the club ridding and at events for at least 2 months. The brothers and sisters all love me and I love all of them as well. It's just like a family. But for the Ol ladies, we are not told and we do not ask about the club's business. Ol lady's are a very important and intricate part of a MC and will be protected as much as any property of the club. It stops there though ol ladies Carry no weight or pull in a MC.
'Taking' or 'Making' old ladies hasn't been savvy in many clubs (even to prospects), but the flip-side of this is that (at least, in the 'old days'), mutual 'promiscuity' was rather prevalent. The attitude of 'I would do anything for a brother' OFTEN extended to 'share my old lady with you for a night'...and I dropped prospect back in the 70's from a KNOWN 1% gang because of this (I should have gladly gave her to them, and held the Prospect...but hindsight is 20/20)...
My guy there are 100% clubs out there who say an old lady is property of the club and subservient to all full patched members. I know it’s not the norm but I’ve seen it and experienced it 100%. Keep it real and keep the education flowing for them folks who need to know because it can happen!!!

There were times he would ask if I needed anything I would tell him uh no thanks I will be ok and make it. I will never forget this one guy was black mailing me, threatening to hunt me down and all kinds of shit. I told my friend about it several days later at work some guy comes in out of no where and sits down at the bar and watches everything then next thing I notice him carrying a big ass knife on him. He then gets up and walks out. Five minutes later I got a phone call from my friend telling me what happened in work if I saw the guy with the knife. I was like ok why, he was then like you will be fine no one will duck with you and your family lil sis. He even did some digging on the guy who had a bad rep sheet who was a sick stalker. I never once I asked him to do any of that. He said he did it because I was like his little sister.

Spot on chopper. Not a 1% but a club member 18 years. Our old ladies don't wear any special identifiers, except maybe support t's same as we sell to the general public. Old ladies that cause issues don't stay around long, and when they go sometimes the member goes too. Our old ladies put up with a lot and do a lot for us. They are the ones dealing with our homes and everyone and everything in it when we are on the road, in the hospital, or locked up. They are taking care of the kids, the dog, the cat, etc. A member without a steady old lady? The other old ladies will help make sure things like that are taken care of when that single member is in the hospital, locked up, etc. When we get too fucked up to ride home from the club house, they are who ends up picking us up from the club house in the middle of the night and taking us back the next day to pick up the bike, or getting woke up in the middle of the night when we do come home. Or taking us to the bike shop to pick up the bike after it has been down. When we are having a party, they are often the ones bringing food that they made. Sure, there's a member on the grill or whatever, but its the old ladies dealing with everything else. My guys love my old lady's pasta salad. My P's OL makes the best jalapeno cheese dip- we always get her to make that. Chapter Xmas party? The ladies pretty much make all that happen. ANYONE disrespects one of our old ladies in any way, and they will get circle stomped by the members and probably all the old ladies too. So yes, they get maximum respect from the club and everyone else better show respect too. This is why its so important for the old ladies to know the boundaries and how to act accordingly and not be a problem. If they do this they will find that the club and other old ladies will do anything for them. This is the truth, but this truth isn't as entertaining as what is being put out. The true story isn't that interesting, so the true story is ignored and a made up story is used instead. It is what it is. #ghostin'.

I was given my property of patch about 2 weeks ago and have been with my Ol Man about 3.5 months. I had to earn it and the brothers had to vote on it and told him I could have it after I hung out with him and the club ridding and at events for at least 2 months. The brothers and sisters all love me and I love all of them as well. It's just like a family. But for the Ol ladies, we are not told and we do not ask about the club's business. It's for our protection. And our patches protect us when out and about from other club's members (a hands off warning).

The attitude of 'I would do anything for a brother' OFTEN extended to 'share my old lady with you for a night'...and I dropped prospect back in the 70's from a KNOWN 1% gang because of this (I should have gladly gave her to them, and held the Prospect...but hindsight is 20/20)...

My guy there are 100% clubs out there who say an old lady is property of the club and subservient to all full patched members. I know it’s not the norm but I’ve seen it and experienced it 100%. Keep it real and keep the education flowing for them folks who need to know because it can happen!!!
Thank you for this, I had been told the false narrative... Which gives people certain,, perspective and it is wrong.
