When we ride as a club we have a Tail Gunner, his/her job is protecting the back of the pack. We are NOT MC, we are RC, but the Tail Gunner's job is to protect his/her brothers and sisters on the ride. If the Tail Gunner needs to block an approaching bike, (s)he needs to do what (s)he needs to do to protect the rest of the family on the ride.

@@SoseTheGhost Thank you for the knowledge you spit bro. I don't ride personally, but, as a Disabled Combat Veteran, US ARMY (Ret) 1st Cav-2nd ID OIF 06-07, I Absolutely Do consider myself a 1%, and this is why. I literally died 3 times in Iraq in 2007 from loss of blood due to injuries sustained doing the 1 thing in this world that I loved more than life itself. That 1 thing was waking up every single day putting on my uniform and putting my life to the wayside serving this great country. Now that I'm mind fucked and physically broken from doing the 1 thing this man's Great Country and Military asked me to do, for which I did day in and day out without question or fail, I feel like I have been rejected and persecuted by my country for doing what they trained me to do because now I'm not allowed to work, have a job to feel like a productive citizen, or do anything I feel I was put on this earth to do. So without going any deeper I want to say Thank You for knowledge because Your videos help me get past my demons even if it's just for a couple of minutes and for that, I thank you. Peace brother! #MoparOrNoCar

#GHOSTIN, Thank God for you Sose, you are saving a lot of people from getting throttled by MC's for cutting in on their packs. For club members only unless you have their blessing or are invited and it has been discussed before the ride. 1% culture has rules and for people who don't understand this it can get touchy for them. You are explaining this completely and saving a lot of trouble for these new riders. The rules are there for everybody's protection. Respect as usual.

When I was a sarge I would shield them from my brothers ride along side them until they cleared the pack...

Yo what sup champ,i didn't come across your channel until after that incident, but since, ive watched multiple videos and learned a lot. Im from LA where we just get fly and hop on our bikes, may race from time to time and go home. Before this incident, I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT M.C. life and rules of the road. I UNDERSTAND NOW that you don't pull up on packs like that. Now am i mad that that happened? Nah im not tripping, i fully understand why it happened. At this point it is what it is, but i know not to try that again aha. As for pulling up on them, like i said im from LA where all the young dudes think we have fast bikes, so when i seen a pack of motorcyclist hauling, i felt like the highway would be perfect time to open it up a little... All in all it was a learning experience for me and i hope some other new riders could learn through me without having to go through what i went through. I have watched the vid a few times Sose. I really wish the whole vid was uploaded. You cant realy tell who the club was . Honestly it's not realy important who they are! What is important is:: One MUST try and understand the WORLD he is running up on. When i first started riding, i used to be tring to catch other bikes to ride with them. You are 100% right, The MC was thingking, "who the hell is running up on us like this" but after realizing it was a NewB, flagged for the pass. Which to me was a loose apology. Basicly letting the guy know not to take it personal. I mean hell if they wanted dude off the road, that's where he would've been, off the road! #ghostin

I'm not "new" to the culture, but I am new to TODAY'S culture. I do not get on my bike without trying to learn something new everyday. That's why I watch several biker channels. Also watchin different ones to see different opinions. I can honestly say that you, my friend have the best outlook on the culture. I feel like I've learned something every time I watch you. Thank you for that. I watched another big-er channel and he said that the club was wrong. His comment section said the same, that the RC came at the kid without provocation. That the kid was simply trying to pass. What I saw of the video was the kid coming up on the inside of the RC, that tells me that he's NOT going for the passing lane. My personal thoughts are, yes, Harleys are cool. But unless you're ready for what comes with riding one, right or wrong, the culture is based around those two wheels. Get yourself a different bike. Get a Goldwing if you wanna cruise, or a sport bike if you wanna go fast. You are much less likely to get messed with that way. Am I correct in this thought? That's something else you need to do if you're going to ride these bikes. Ask damn questions, keep yourself (and others) alive. Sorry so long bro, but this seems important in my head lol.

#ghostin, I’m just going to approach this from what i think is right, if you’re rolling in a pack other riders coming up on you can upset the dynamic and maybe someone moves out of formation and that creates a situation. Sweepers have a job to do, MC,MCC or RC, it’s not protocol it’s just polite that you come up on the outside, level with the sweeper and signal your intent to pass (if that’s your intent or the pack you’re coming up behind is moving slower than you) signal you’re intent, then if approved you can pass, it’s not rocket science, it’s just polite and a sweeper can always escort you passed the pack, paranoia aside just keep it cool and respectful.

Hey all!! Comin to you from Athens, Greece. I have been a biker for the last 40 or more years. I don't just ride into any pack of bikes on the road whether they are a club or just a bunch of friends on a ride. I don't even just blow by a pack either without acknowledging their presence. There are not very many active biker clubs here although I have run across the HA Athens chapter on the road. I just hang back and wait for the OK to go about my business. I have run across the Harley Club on a ride where they took up the 3 lanes. No reason to get impatient. Impatience on a motorcycle is highly dangerous. Just hang back and enjoy the ride. That is, in my opinion, why we ride.

So I watch the video and when he does finally pass them you can see what looks like a white and black side rocker, you can also not see any diamonds or other club patches. I have never seen a cut that devoid of patches. Even before I started riding I knew enough to get permission to past. Not because I was afraid to past but riding in formation like that at those speeds only takes a brief distraction to injure or kill a bunch of people. Then again my superpower is common sense.
