Doing a single turbo conversion on my jz30 soarer at the mo, went for a Walton motorsport T4 twinscroll manifold paired with a BorgWarner S300SX-E 64mm with 76mm turbine on a 0.91 twinscroll backhousing, and went for a Turbosmart progate-50 wastegate. I'm expecting it to be quite laggy, but I'm gonna be running high ethanol fuel so should spool a bit faster. Anyways good video, has defo put some things on my shopping list for when I do my conversion.

@@KyroJZ manifold is decent, sounds like any other manifold really, boost curve is nice and flat at the top as well
I have same Greddy Intercooler kit fitted to my JZZ30 pal, I had zero issues with fitment through the inner arch on the driver side. If you want I can send pics as 2 of the pipes are quite similar iirc and once in their right locations it’s hunky dory. You might possibly end up with a bit too much collapsing action under boost on such a big silicone intercooler pipe?!! Hope this helps.

Great video man. What did you end up doing with your idle air control valve? I put a filter on mine and now I have a high idle. Any thoughts?
I put a filter on mine, just be careful with the gasket if you take it off bit of a rookie mistake but I done it and only just realised now I'm taking the engine the gasket if not installed right will block it
Hey quick question on the mamba fitting kit. Did you buy a 1jzgte vvti fitting kit or which one did you use
I don't think it matters mate but I ordered a gt35 fitting kit
CX actually makes now Right hand drive downpipes ? cause I know the kit is for an Sc300/400 JZ swap with those in NA are LHD witch is probably why did not fit well since the teering rack steering shaft is in the way but I love the video!

What single turbo kit did you use and down pipe ?
Used cx racing but most of it blew up or didn't fit so custom down pipe, pulsar turbo
Thank you. Custom downpipe it is. I got a jzx90 and she’s just blowing smoke rn. Thought it was the upsized twins but so I rebuilt em and she’s still smoking. No oil on plugs so I’m assuming it’s not the valve seals. I’m gonna check the head gasket but I really don’t think it’s that. Coolant temps and oil temps are still fine. It might be a crack in the twin. Either way I’m gonna go single most likely. Your videos bro they’re real good. Very Helpful frfr. Thank you

So the CX racing manifold clears your steering shaft ?
it does no issue, bear in mind mine is a soarer i have heard theres issues with sc300s
@@gorillagarage0 thank you! I was just curious, I remember there’s a note in their website stating that the manifold was built for LHD applications, so was wondering if ya had to modify anything to fit RHD applications. I was thinking of purchasing this for my X81 Mark II.
