I've said it like 20 times before but BTS lan in 2019 was the best lan to watch for pure entertainment imo. It was so much fun, player casting, an actual tournament, another tournament with captains picking teams, a rock paper scissors tournament (go ayyjayy), literally like 3 or 4 hours of straight HEATED mafia which was amazing, and tons of amazing moments, alots fantastic prediction, aztral pinch, etc. Highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to go back and watch the vod on yt. Hope we can get something like this again one day from another org.
Couldn't agree more. It also came out of nowhere for me, just when I needed it.
@@mrcassioo it was actually one of the first lans I was able to watch live, my friend showed me s6 gf a month after it happened and I was hooked into s7 and going into BTS it was sooo fucking good as a new player to watch all the personalities.
BTS was a giant in esports across the board (smash, Dota, tft, etc) and their presence will be missed

The Aztral disrespect from bates (and cjcj) was insane.
He's been the hard carry on multiple teams, been arguably the best player in the world and has been one of the most mechanical players since 2019.
I like Joyo, but you can't deny he's folded under pressure quite a bit and his impressive results were with an absolute goated team and he's still pretty fresh on the scene.
Exactly, as soon as Aztral started to stand out as that mechanical yet intelligent player, it was clear he deserved respect. It's crazy to me how memorable his time on dig was (to me anyway), and he's *still* getting mvp's on his current Moist roster lol.
He's absolutely one of the greatest players of all time, and his longevity alone easily puts him above Joyo.
I loved how the BTS event had the players actually casting. I'll always remember Turbo and alot97 being on the cast it was amazing

People hate on tier lists until they have to move people, and that’s a showed how little he’s been here. Joyo is good but he’s only been here a year and a half, compared to Metsa and Aztral who have both been around for years and years, both with more accolades. Luka Doncic isn’t better than Chris Paul all time just because he’s been better this year

Gonna miss BTS. BTS events were my favourite in every esport as they were so casual and fun. I adored the rocket league ones, the csgo ones were funny and the smash events they did were amazing. This is a great loss in the esports scene
the argument against individual players shifting the meta in many cases is, the meta was going to change anyway. players going as fast as possible to the ball would’ve happened whether greazy played or not, so i agree with johnny it’s not that important to factor in most of the time

all i have to say is if aztral is so good why hasn’t he won anything🤷🏻♂️ he was good in season 9 and won the eu side but he hasn’t done much since. sure he’s a great teammate and yadayada but he seems like he lacks the ability to deal with pressure and tries to carry too much imo. he ends up ballchasing a ton
@@blakxnz There are many great players who haven't won a lan, and that's because wins are a team stat, theres only so much 1 player can do. At the last major Aztral was playing amazing and they lost to Gen.G in the finals 4-2 I believe, which is a team everyone lost to. I would say he's more of a lan player than an online player but idk I just feel like you can't discredit him just because his team isn't winning events

Season 9 Aztral would be capable of keeping up with current RLCS, he was so ahead of his time. He's a robot when it comes to reading the ball, not to mention the rest of his mechanics.

I don't think Johnny deserves as much flack as he's receiving on his pyramid. There's a lot of great players that definitely need to be mentioned in a 'Greatest of All Time' list that just happen to not be the greatest player to touch the game. A true 'GOAT' list is Turbo; as much as I don't like Turbo he has 4 world champion ships 3 of which were on different teams. I do think Joyo was a little better than what Johnny is giving him credit for, however when Rise finally left they dropped to #9/10 while Joyo's former teammates (who have better talent around them) have consistently played at a high level. The fact that Joyo is as high on the list as he is is pretty impressive considering he's been around for idk pretty small amount of time right?
people don't realize how much JKnaps has done for how the game is played today. He has also consistently dominated since he has been in RLCS.

I feel like Justin should have just gone with a white lie - something like “sizz was a great coach. We just needed a change.” Instead, it feels like he just threw even more shade at Sizz. Just made it look more mature by mincing his words. I agree - Johnny is probably a much better coach. But for the sake of the DRAMA, he should have just said “Sizz was awesome my bad for misspeaking”

to fix johnnyboi's pyramid, drop deikoo and move joyo up. simple. seikoo won worlds woth bds, but is imo the reason bds has fell off. monkeymoon looks great and extra is still solid. most double commits in defence are caused by seikoo. he may be mechy but he hasnt effected anything really. i also think monkeymoon and extra's synergy won then worlds.

@@majesticmo5048 right but most of seikoo's pro career has been lacking. he came on the team right before worlds, won, and hasnt done great since. i think his worlds win was completely at the merit of monkeymoon and extra. therefore he isnt a goat and shouldnt be on the list at all, in my opinion.
@Xenon Archer I kinda see your point. However, seikoo still had an insane rookie season, he carried endpoint in fall and winter (and got them top 8 at the fall major) and he won 4 regionals. Also he was quite literally the mvp at worlds. Credit to monkey moon as well tho cos he was insane as well, and extra stepped up on the final day but seikoo still popped off hard.
literally has 3 out of the 6 GOATs on the 2nd from the top level as current members of NRG. NRG who... struggles to make majors currently.

@Lulzy Wizard not how it works. The goat list takes all of your best achievements. Garrettg, squishy and Justin have all achieved more than most players. What you're describing is a top players list. If the goat list was just players who are currently good it wouldn't make sense. You do know GOAT stands for greatest of all time right??? Current form is irrelevant
