I always thought that was a great show. Carroll O'Connor was so great in that show. Sally Struthers looks fabulous in that short skirt. She couldn't wear one today however. They don't make shows like that anymore. It wouldn't fly today however.
Jackie Gleason turned down the role of Archie because he did not like the way it portrayed conservative Republicans. Norman Lear was a leftist who despised conservatives.
There are lots of shows like this today. Usually people who say that mean they like the bigot language.
She looks even prettier in straight hair.
