"True point guards are overrated"
Puts Chris Paul 25th
Chris Paul was a scorer on the hornets.
He's one of the true point guards who was actually very good at scoring.
You dumb ass 20 plus points with around 10 11 assists idiot
Cp3 is over Dr J
He's not MUCH of a true PG, he has a good mixture of scoring and passing. If you don't consider Isiah Thomas, a "True'' PG, then I don't see why, we can't do the same for CP3
Chris Paul and Isaiah Thomas is NOT even close in talent...
Oh....that Isaiah Thomas
Yeah, your good.
DB Zzz The good one is spelled Isiah!
Zaza Pachulia Isaiah is still good tho he just got injured and yraded
I guess the better one then..

Hot take: Hakeem has an argument to be the second greatest Center ever
hes the most skilled ever
AS 10 oh, for sure, he also had the greatest off season of all time
I don’t believe he is the second greatest Center ever but I do agree that their is an argument for him if you were in some type of debate.
Duck Reeder his argument is basically that he’s more skilled than Shaq, proved to be a better team player than Wilt, and is more skilled than Russell
thats not a bad take tho
I feel like you're significantly underrating a lot of the older players, which is probably because you've never seen them play, which I'm not gonna hold against you.
How are people saying that they don't agree with your List, and Haven't watch The whole video yet. LMAO
The King of The Internet Any list leaving Jason Kidd off and putting Reggie Miller on it who shouldn’t even be a hall of famer.... has no merit.
When he says the show time Lakers has a PRIME Kareem... it shows the guys hasn’t watched enough tape and is reading off stats!!
wilt avg. 50 ppg and 25 rebs 4 assists plus who knows maybe 7-8 blocks a game in a season this guy put him 11..thats how we disagree..nonsense...
The King of The Internet man, I got my list and there aren’t a chance his is the exact same, so I already disagree.
@@picafavo3466 Cool, can you tell us your list?
The King of The Internet why, it’s just a whole argument circle, everyone has different opinions. I’m not mad at him list, I respect him because you have to have balls to make a vid like this.
U should do top 50 current NBA players
he did top 100 before the season started
it is unfair to current guys besides like lebron and carter to do a top 50 ranking already
No he shouldnt
He doesnt know what he is talking about
This list is garbage
Asmosis Jones It’s still pending
Luka Calov what would you change. I do t exactly agree but what would u change in the list.
Stockton easily one of the best point guards ever, made karl malones career and even nba greats like jordan praise him ur tripping balls if u dont think he deserves to be top 50
I would argue Malone made Stockton's career.
Naah Malone basically carried Stocktons career
@@DWEthiopia I don't usually put down a person's opinion, But the last two people commenting show a lack of basic understanding of how the game is played. Either that, Or you really know nothing about John Stockton as a player. Even without the best executed pick, and roll of all time, The amount of tools in Stockton's game bag is undeniable! Not only assists, But all time league leading steals. 52% shooting from the field. Assists off of steals. Never any lower than top 20 true shooter percentage (Number one 3 different years) 9th all time. Didn't take many because it wasn't needed, But one of the best 3 point shooters. 82% for almost 4800 free throws.
Sorry, But when the Jazz were coming up the floor, It was John Stockton that was dictating the play. (Kind of goes with basketball fundamentals, and the roll of his position) Without Stockton, Karl Malone does not get the second most points in NBA history. His power would still make him an elite player. Without Malone, Stockton still puts that basketball in hands of the best option on the floor. Which as his incredible accuracy has shown could have just as easily been himself. So you probably have to adjust for league averages, and take away lifetime assists, But be sure to add the additional shots he's now forced to take. He drops 2k in A's, and adds 6k in points. His steals probably stay the same.
Finally, Give them a coach that had more respect for Jordan's game, And who knows how their meetings end up.
Separate the two, and they both continue to be exceptional players elsewhere, But don't try taking one of the many aspects of John Stockton's game. (His assists), And the only part that Malone was involved in, And then somehow discredit the rest of his game play. While not giving him credit for doing exactly what a point guard is made for. Create, then execute the option. I welcome your counter point!
@@raymondbushelle2000 Stockton was decent but 75% of assists were simple passes that any other PG could have made if they also had Malone as their teammate. His defense was great but I can't say it was elite, even with all of his steals. I am not saying Stockton was garbage. I'm just saying his career wouldn't have been what it was hadn't it been for the Mailman. I am not taking much away from him. I was just responding to the ludicrous claim that Stockton "made" Karl Malone. That is absurd.
He has 9 First Round Exits...... yes 9.
I'm disappointed that such a Duncan friendly channel made the mistake of putting Kobe over Duncan. Duncan was better, more efficient on offense, a better defender a better teammate & leader. Duncan had less help. Kobe just had more volume scoring, and played a more flashy game in a bigger market.
Don’t worry he said in a video that putting Kobe over Duncan was a mistake
I love Kobe and have him easily in the top 10 just behind Duncan and ahead of Hakeem I think, but lowkey he might be one of the most overrated players in history, his popularity was much higher than his actual skill, which says a lot cause obviously he was incredibly skilled.
While I put Duncan over Kobe, I do believe that their positions are interchangable so don't get so triggered lol
@@ZZ-ex8py ...And it's just by 1 place anyway
Duncan certainly isn't more efficient than kobe on offense. They pretty much have the same ts% and Kobe averages like 6 ppg more over the course of their career
The John Stockton disrespect is crazy 😂 😂
Made Mane Nah. He just wasn’t that talented
Christian Arnold All NBA All defence
@Donald J. Trump Bob cousy played in a trash Era while John Stockton had better stats in a much harder era
Well John was very good but he couldn't take over a game. John was not that great in pressure moments
H.S 93 he hit the shot to take the jazz to the finals I guess that’s not clutch enough for u💀
Honestly very respectable list.
I'm usually very opinionated about lists like these but overall I see no glaring issue.
I see plenty issues but its a whole lot better than most I've seen online lol
@@madara792 There are some things I would change for sure but overall I'm fine with his list.
It's all opinions at the end of the day.
@@HaveFunLosingBro Exactly. Gotta respect it at the end of the day even if you don't agree. But golly, Curry 12 got me shook lol
@@madara792 Yeah its weird ranking players who are still playing.
I'd say Steph currently is top 20 & by the time his career ends he'll be in that #10 to #15 range.
Same with KD & Kawhi.
@@HaveFunLosingBro I got Curry right 20 atm. Hard to put him near top 10 for me since his finals mvp numbers are non-existent. I rate FMVPs above rings
Can’t agree with this list because of where you ranked the Malone Stockton duo.... A lot of the reasons in your video about Stockton being overrated were about how it was the system and most of his assists were because of Malone. But then I expected Malone would be higher and players like Nash and Harden who succeeded in a system should not have been placed as high as they were. And kasha is wayyy to high, like yeah top 30 fine but not top 20
Yeah it doesn't' add up. Rusty just loves to hate on Stockton. It's like some habit he picked up somewhere along the way and he won't let the hate go.
I don't have problems with someone thinking Stockton is not top 50 because we all tend to favor all time offensive greats in this rankings, but if he's not on the list, neither should Payton and Nash. Also Stockton was unarguably better than them two.
Stockton was in a system. Nash and Harden were the system.
@@MBkratos11 Harden I guess but Nash also had some pretty good guys around him, and thats also why I said that if we're not including Stockton due to the system then Malone should at least be higher.
Kasha?
This is a great video. Love the format.
24 Isaiah Thomas 38.Karl Malone 22. Barkley lmfao
Caught that too
Right
son goku My first thoughts is Barkey shouldn’t be ahead of either of those guys. Malone as much as I hate him is more talented and more accomplished, Isiah is as well. It’s also just my opinion.
Isiah one back to back in the hardest era. Jordan's biggest rival. Could have 3 peated if not for a bad foul call that led Kareem to shoot free throws to win 88 finals by one point. Most deserving for 2nd greatest point guard spot. You need to study.
son goku Definitely could get behind this excellent talking points, very respectful thank you.
I just don’t know how you put an all time leading scorer, who played twice in the finals and was in the playoffs consistently behind Barkley. Yes, Malone had Stockton who IMO is underrated, Barkley did have help, he didn’t have another superstar but he had excellent role players around him. Isiah was an all around point guard who could do anything you asked of him, for his era plus he has two rings. I wouldn’t put Round Mound of Rebound over them, just my opinion tho. Stockton, Malone, Barkley and Isiah all fell under the same curse, Jordan lol. If Barkley had a ring I would consider it.
Lol when Karl Malone’s name came up Rusty and Method man hopped in the mini man and said “Keep it Movin” 😂🤣
this is a really good list....agree with most of everything, keep up the good work
How is John Stockton not on the list he is the all time leader in steals and assists
He’s trying to make a point that he thinks he’s overrated but he’s not being objective by not having him in the Top 50. Gary Payton at 32?! 😂
John Stockton was not talented, and he never won anything. Never even in mvp conversations. He is the leader in those statistics because he had a very very long and durable career.
JRoss_Da Goat it still takes talent to do that tho. Lots of players have had very long and good careers but aren’t the assist and steals leader
JRoss_Da Goat He was a consistent All star and All NBA defensive player which Karl Malone has nothing to with but you can’t say the same for his assists still a top 50 player though
The reason for those assists is because of them all coming through Malone
My only actual problem with the list is that Tim Duncan and Wilt should be a bit higher.
Fool’s Gaming wilt should be 1
Fairy Tail Facts. He’s the GOAT, imo.
Bill Richardson yeh ikr
@@shiro9112 Except Wilt was a selfish player and chased individual stats over winning. He went into a game to put up numbers, not to win. Only until he took a step back and trusted his teammates did he finally break through and get a ring.
@@makarzorklin8265 This is a half truth. Wilt admitted he had to take a step back on the scoring when the coach asked, but the reason he lost was because of the Celtics. They made the finals a bunch against Bill Russell's Celtics. IF you dont know that team was stacked with HOF's and it was in a league of only 8 teams with NO Free Agency. That means the only way you got on a different team was by trade. Since the Celtics had all the best players they didnt trade anyone and they smashed everyone 11 out of 12 years.
Duncan should be over Kobe. And I love Kobe
Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant are pretty much tied.
F no
Kobe won 2 chips with shit players, and a broken finger

Yup. The nigga put Shaq over Wilt
Shabaka Smkss I swear to god if you say Shaq is better than Wilt.
Shabaka Smkss nice list is probably drop Shaq and Kareem a little though
Shabaka Smkss Wilt would destroy Shaq. Wilt Chamberlain is the most naturally gifted athlete and the strongest.
Wilt Chamberlain has the strength of 5 Shaqs, the speed of Westbrook, and the rebounding abilities that surpass Bill Russel.
Shaq Would get demolished by Wilt, it’s not even close. When did Shaq even surpass Hakeem, or Kareem?
Hokage Itachi Uchiha Hakeem would destroy wilt cmon. Not nearly as athletic but arguably the best defender EVER! The best footwork in history god like post skills no one could stop him not even wilt still underrated smh

Here’s an interesting question: Could Hakeem have become the GOAT if Ralph Sampson never got hurt. Hakeem was in a finals in his first 2-3 years. Imagine if he had another elite big man when the Jordan dynasty started.
As a uva fan I would have loved this
Hakeem never had another all-star on his team unlike other greats. Sure he finally got Drexler in ‘95 when Clyde was not at his prime (which was in Portland). Yet, Hakeem won despite that. He would’ve won 4-5 championships if he had 1 or 2 all-stars like Kareem and LeBron did.
no he wouldnt have. most of his legacy is carrying a trash team to the finals in 94 and 95 , and if he had more help, he would be viewed differently
@@ganeshs8522 yep
If Hakeem had better tm and won 6 rings and all fmvp I would rank him higher than MJ I think
Solid video, of course I don’t agree but I like your approach and quality.
I love Larry Bird being in the top 5

Larry bird isn’t even the greatest Celtic ever, I think you forgot about Isaiah Thomas
i don't....on no earth was bird better than wilt..
@@IsaiahYuen damn and Bias and Antoine Walker.
@SunamiKilla theres more to winning a title than points scored....
Olajuwan should be higher considering that he was actually dominant for so long and was entirely on his own. His two finals victories were a testament to his importance indeed of the two most exciting finals runs I have watched it has to be a close call between the Rockets second championship, Dirk's Mavs finals run and the Mr Bigshots Pistons winning it all.
I am not sure that anyone gives Hakeem much credit but when he first came into the league he bested Kareem and was beaten by the best one of the best celtics teams of all time and then circumstances went sideways. he is also the person that made the 3 point shot and spreading the floor a real thing. Indeed Houston of old was a bit like the houston of today only with a centre distributing the ball.
Lastly form a simple statistical standpoint, the guy was top 10 in points, rebounds, blocks, steals got a quadruple double and beastmoded EVERY centre he faced in the playoffs. Even Jordan would have taken him at centre. So I kind of think you've underplayed him. Most lists have him second to Jordan if you do the whole blind look at the stats view and he is often only second to Jordan in his era.
tokumboh He was eliminated in the first round 8 times in his career, 5 times in his prime. He was a great talent but he was not as dominant as people make it out to be.
@@Chillboyhaad not really. He does not have help after sampson was injured. Remember, they went to the finals they year later and still give the legendary 86 celtics a hard time. If hakeem has an another star after ralph was injured, they could potentially have atleast one ring before 1994&1995.

I’d replace Dwight or Ewing with James.
This was a pretty good list, though I would have placed Wilt a bit higher. Also, thank you for recognizing Moses Malone. He is one of the greatest rebounders ever and was a good defender and a great scorer. I was worried that this would turn into a BSOLZ situation where the list was straight garbage, but I agree with 98% of it. Keep up the good work
randomrocketsfan Why was BSOLZ list garbage?
randomrocketsfan wilt was a team killer
Trideep Nag lies. Most of the problems with wilt teams is that the coaches WANTED wilt to be the sole focus and it never worked.l because it ended up being always wilt vs the world. And it made him look selfish, when in actuality he never wanted to be the center of attention.
@@TheIcemanthomas I see you everywhere in basketball videos. Can you give me your opinion on pierce being ahead of pippen on this list.
FBI CORPORATION 69 I don’t agree, but it’s his personal list I guess so I’ll respect it because atleast it’s reasonable, as opposed to some people who just flat out disrespect players they don’t like, or favor players of their own era. I think pippen is underrated because of how the media and fans have portrayed him as nothing but a Robin to mj and just a fastbreak 2way guy. He deserves more appreciation than that. He played his role. But anyone who witnessed the seasons when jordan retired and the seasons after when jordan came back, knows just how great he could’ve been if he was a first option and jordan never came back. Obviously wouldn’t have won as much but people forget that he was leading the bulls in every stat category one of those years and was integral in why the nearly made the finals without jordan even better being their for the majority of the season. That alone should get him more praise and respect. But I’m a bulls fan so I’m biased . Lol
Nice list but I think Stockton deserves a spot over Nash, especially since Nash prime was shorter and later in his career. Stockton's durability was insane and he's still #1 in steals and assists.
thank you
I wouldn’t put him in the top 30 tho especially since you’d have dr j iverson all below him
Wow! Someone who can be unbiased and not all in their feelings. Amazing.
Very solid list some disagreements. And I agree with your Kobe assessment.
Do a video predicting the next five years of the nba
Jordi Nunez you could look at the young players and see how they’ll go about with their careers
@Jordi Nunez It's fun.
It won't be accurate at all but that doesn't really matter as the main point of it would be to have fun thinking about it.
Jordi Nunez try to and it would be fun
I know you like to say that Stockton stats are a result of longevity but it’s not the case. Another CZcamsr did a video on taking only the 10 best years of every top player, and for PG, Stockton is still leading in Assists and Steals. So yeah, it’s bit strange not to have him here but it’s your list.
He doesn't study as much as he should. His thoughts on Wilt is way off and Tmac should be higher based on context.
He made a whole video explaining how stockton was just an above average passer but not a great one but the system hew was laying in meant that every possession was goring through him, and most of his assists were just a pass to Karl Malone, go check it out
@@cryingkiller1179 the issue with his video is he only seems to research to prove his point rather than acc testing his hypothesis or at least his presentation gives me that impression
@@cryingkiller1179 Not really In his Video he Said he Considered a Great Passer to be one that makes passes that at least 90% of NBA players couldn't make but
1 John could make these Passes and Did when he needed too
2 John Had a Ridiculously good Vision and a ridiculously High Assist/Turnover Ratio (and very low turnovers in General) so he was definitely a great Passer
Also John Is a top 5 Guard Defender Which a lot of people forget and should probably get him in by itself
He also had a very bad take on his next(on Point)video about Jason Kidd which makes me believe he is a bit Biased
I like Rusty, but he's a Jazz hater. Stockton was a great defender for a PG too
This is an amazing list and I think you put everyone in great spots even tho I didn’t agree with some I still respect it, especially Tim Duncan I love that guy so I have him a tiny higher

I would love for you to do a video on the different eras of NBA history. 🏀🏀🏀🏀
People place WAY too much value on rings and general team accolades. Players should be measured by how much they personally contribute to winning, because they cannot account for their teammate's performance. Kawhi at 20 while have only a 5 year prime is crazy.
Yes along those lines VORP (value over replacement player) and real box +/- are valuable. I wanna say Lebron is the leader in both categories.
Yeah I think he slightly over ranked Kawhi considering how short he's been playing at this level.
I'd currently put Kawhi in that #25 to #30 range.
Not really you do have to take rings into consideration and Kawhi is easily a top 10 defender all time with one of the greatest playoff runs ever with a team where he was basically their whole offense
Rex Ruther he’s debatably the best defender of all time only guys I can honestly put over him is Dennis Rodman and Hakeem
MALIK anderson yeah maybe bill Russel too but I agree with you he’s so good on ball especially back in 2015/16 that was arguably the greatest defensive season of all time too just so good at so
Many things on the court
Even though I think Stockton is grossly overrated I think keeping him of the list is a bit of a stretch I'd lower Wade a bit and Westbrook to with pippen and Dr J up a little
This is probably the best list I've seen by far
theres legit now like 120 guys I can see in the top 75..its crazy how many great players there are

@@lilverson1333 dumb
Another guy disrespecting McGrady and Reggie. Nothing new
@@bosyogurtlight Mcgrady is not even top 100
This a very good List i personally Would Rank Dr J and Tim Duncan a Bit Higher but great list overall
Also John Stockton should be on this List yeah he definitely is Overrated but he Still is an amazing passer (probably one of the Greatest ever) an amazing and Very underrated Defender he had a really consistent Career and Even though he didn't won a Ring you can't say he's not a Winner
Jason Kidd same with Stockton also his Run with the Nets is Pretty Damn underrated he Led the Nets to the Finals twice over teams like the Bad Boy Pistons he even gave the Spurs a run for their money
I would also put Kobe Higher probably higher than Magic and Kareem since even Magic has Called him the Greatest Laker ever
who the Fuck is this Kobe should be 5 is my only gripe
@@dawsnoshift4286 i would actually Put Him 3rd
Do you think stockton will have that level of succes if he didn't play with karl malone?
dudero93 But he did have Malone so you can’t penalize him for that. Also J Kidd didn’t be a the bad boy pistons. The bad boys are from the 80s and Also in no world is Kobe a better all time player than Kareem and Magic.
Very respectable top 10
Good video, must have took alot of research to make
How about Bob Mcadoo? Not much postseason success but led the league in scoring 3 years in a row and was the MVP once
@Tod Wilkinson bob mcadoo wasn't even in the original top 50 lists which was counting only pre 2000s players.
@@jijmotorp3079
I know he wasn't but I think he should have been. His individual accomplishments are enough to get him on the list.
@Tod Wilkinson
To be honest, Tmac was amazing but never reached his full potential. Skill wise Tmac is definitely in the top 50, but career wise probably not.
No rant vid on the Pax firing🤨😭
I am addicted to your new intro.
I 100% agree with your top 10 and the subtractions of older players but I think Wilkins should be part of the additions somewhere in the 40s
how tf is bill russel above duncan
Silveryo rings
He is better fool
Cuz nobody here has watched him play and only look at the rings
I’ll put Bill Russell outside the top 10 with Wilt and put KD at the 10th spot.
Silveryo it’s your opinion and the reason is obvious because of two things rings and defense and 1 more reason mvps
Good list overall, but even tho i agree on the fact that AI is a bit overrated, I think Putting westbrook and Payton over him may be bit much
Yup I have AI over Westbrook especially over Payton. The guy put the 76ers on his back with no other scorer and became an MVP
Dobz Russ is better than AI like come on now like pure ability
@@ballin3230 AI, is definitely not overrated, i'd say he was underrated, his team was ass, averaged 25 5 5 3 in games he would acually try, if he wasnt lazy and gone practice before a game, he would be unstoppable, not to mention he crossed the legendary mj :)
@@dobz746 Russell Westbrook is slightly better than Allen Iverson I think.
@@saiyerugara9038 I would rather have prime AI over prime Westbrook. I can trust AI more coz he has a more reliable jumper and the defense has to respect it rather than Westbrook's. Athleticism no question it's Russ but I'd rather build a team with AI.
Man you got a way different list than me lol but great vid though keep it up bro!
With these lists it's always like: where is this player, where is that player. Then you consider that there is probably a hundred players that could be considered top 50, but it's personal preference who goes where. So great representation of your view.
Jason kidd should have been on here. He did lead the nets to two consecutive finals appearances, that is very impressive considering he didnt have a player like karl malone!
Bill Fitzgerald and they were teach the year before he got there
Kidd may have not had a Karl Malone, but the nets teams that went to the championships were not worse than the Jazz teams that went to the championships. Neither were great teams, they were just solid teams.
You should watch the youtube video Making the Case - Wilt Chamberlain by Clayton Crowley... Really opened my eyes about Wilt and its hard for me to not put him as a top 3 player as polarizing as he was... great vid.
@@muhammadrajput3502 in now have him at 7 lol
this list is beautiful, especially the top 10.
So what do you think about the “start, bench, cut” trend going around twitter. I’d love to see a video with a few of those. I love your videos and keep up the grind, you’ll get there one day.
Rubbing my hands like Birdman for this one.
No James Worthy? Big game James Worthy?
Great video btw!! Keep it up!
I respect this list
just an idea, make a video the 10 greatest offensive/defensive players of all time, I'd like to see what your opinion is on that.
T-mac at 50 - Ballsy video coming...
...finnished watching, man you got get Dave Debusher's name down man. C'mon young buck!
3:55 oh ya my Florida State Dave Cowens making the list
How do you have magic at #3 if Stockton is not even on the list?
Love the 3 minute intro
Who else picked up the "38" number for Karl Malone when he was 23 on the list? 😂😂
Nobody is more underrated than Scottie Pippen. He's probably around no 25.
dionysis e the last dance is why your saying that
Would have liked to see james worthy on the list but im not gonna argue it, anyway great video man keep it up
Great list, but I would include Worthy in my top 50. Don’t feel like he gets enough credit these days
My man buckets dropping the fuego !
As much as I wish Kobe was higher, appreciate you mentioning that he was a good defender
I just want to know where Vince cater was he changed the game with his dunks and he brought up the raptors
Rusty
Which team was worse
03 spurs or 06 heat
