I’m being told it’s recommended to add teflon tape after posting this video…clearly there’s something I’m missing here. What is the teflon tape for?

Let me see if i can get it together....lol.
      basically,
      the teflon mod is....
a piece of white plummers tape,
      little less then an inch...
      wrapped tightly and clean,
around the barrel and the end of the bucking,
(in between),just enough, to let you close your hop up chamber fully, without a gap.
dont cover up the part where your pressurearm pushes the tounge down☝🏾
      what it does?
it puts pressure around the bucking and inner....keeping the bucking from lifting around the barrel, when your nozzle dives into the bucking and the shot is beeing released.
pressure cant escape and you have a more consistent shot...
you want ALL the pressure from the gas to go where its supposed to go😉
i suggest to get a crazy jet maple leaf hop hop chamber/innerbarrel kit...6.04mm.
green 50° or yellow 60° shore.
best budget upgrade since sliced bread.
add the teflon tape mod and you are good to go....👍🏾

@@broadside8326 hmm…I’ll need to check that out. I’m a bit skeptical and afraid this could cause any stress, something to be uneven or misaligned. 🤔 but I’m still open to suggestions

      ...dont worry😌
its an easy and effective mod when you want to really eliminate possible airleaks in your system.
      barrel/bucking....
      bucking/nozzle...

have you tried the purple laylax gasrouters yet?

the normal 70° is a little too firm for my liking...something in the rubber composition makes the oils/silicone turn brownish after time.
50° or in fps raised pistols a 60°....
check their 2021 silicone buckings decepticon/autobot....awesome little things👌🏾
...and yeah...thank god for teflon tape😄

      Thanks for watching!
Change the bucking out when the OEM one wears out. Most people change it out when they’re adding mods.
I changed mind because the OEM bucking wasn’t holding the BBs any longer

I've got a similar bucking and everything but I find that the bucking expands the hop up chamber to the point where it doesn't fit into the outer barrel assembly. Any tips on how to shrink the bucking so it fits more flush?

Meltedchair513 Not sure how to answer this one. Hope you find the answer soon! Was almost going to recommend doing the Teflon tape mod but I don’t know the full extent of your issue
