He knows he can’t fight or beat Canelo. It’s clever that he mentions Canelo and everyone gets triggered which is what Jake exactly wants. It gets people talking about him which is what people are doing.
That's been standard practise in boxing for decades - call out the biggest name with no intention of fighting them anytime soon in order to boost your profile. It's not clever or new it's just how the sport has operated for many years.

I'm a boxing fan, I enjoyed the fight. I didn't expect elite boxing skills, anyone with sense didn't either. Jake showed he can take punch big ups to him, Woodley has no jab he only won 2 rounds and I was on his side🤦🏾♂️😄

For his 4th fight with no amateur background, he did amazing. Most fighters just fight bums in their 4th fight, easier opponents than Woodley. To even be going 8 rounds in your 4th fight is an achievement, so don't tell me Jake can't fight

People are Impressed with jakes 4 fights? The guy can defo fight however, most fighters fight people they’re own size. Someone whose jakes size and weight division would take jakes shots way better, these small 170 guys can’t take that power. Weight classes exist for a reason. But credit goes to jake for this fight.

As for jake he doesnt cut much, that's why him and tyron are a similar natural weight. Gib was around his natural weight aswell, that being said Ben and the nate werent Jake's weight
Most 'backed' boxers start off padding their records by fighting smaller fighters on short notice, that way they don't have time to get in proper shape so are more likely to gas out and get stopped along with the size disadvantage, but they will accept the fight because they don't need to cut weight because it's not their natural smaller weight class and also of course money.
For such a lack of killer instinct and everything that this fight stood for, Tyrone Woodley doesn't deserve a secomd chance. He displsyed disgusting static fighting, the way Tyrone walked round that ring anyone would think it was two friends sparing.

Technically it should’ve been counted as a knockdown, but Jake still would’ve/ could’ve won by 1 even if they gave Tyron the 10-8 round. That was 100 percent a knockdown because the ropes prevented him from falling down.

Won't happen. Poirier is under contract with the UFC and he may well be the next LW champ. It would be a bad move for him as well as the UFC to risk losing to Paul. Poirier is better off making the same amount of money by defending his LW title (if he wins it).

He only picks opponents that are older, retired, haven't won a fight or trained in years, smaller in stature, don't specialize in boxing, and are separated by weight-classes that don't match the one he's in. The very definition of a bully is that they pick on people that are smaller than they are. Tommy Fury challenged Jake to a fight. They're both around the same height, inside the same weight-class, around the same age, and they're both newer fighters. Totally would be an even match. Also, Tommy Fury specializes in boxing, unlike all the other opponents Jake has been cherry picking for easy wins. Guys like him are who Jake should be picking fights with, but I bet he doesn't want any part of that. He's a bully. He just wants opponents that he has advantages against.
