- Billy is still out of town so you are stuck with ME :P Jetty and I soak up our time as we are alone in a fancy marina. Long hot showers, a big field to exercise in and a private beach are just a few of the luxuries. You also get a lot more in this episode such as some TMI and tears :0. Most people have rapidly forgotten the damage in PARTS of the Bahamas. We've run into many displaced residents, like here in Nassau. It's been a while, but we need to consider CONTINUING our support. Thanks for what you've done already.

Great video .... informational and entertaining! So glad that you have Jetty. It is amazing how much our pets can help in adding normalcy and support to our lives. ☺
Sadly, we know the Abacos suffered severe life altering damage. It will be years ... probably decades to realize improvement there. Psycho Skipper recently delivered aid there on the Black Diamond. Months after the hurricane, it appears ravaged. He mentioned the death toll is officially at 50 ... but in reality its most likely over 3000. Mind boggling. Stay safe ... and as you said, appreciate the simpler things in life....
Lol, every video its nonstop, "Billy is lucky to have you." Calm down old guys, we get it. But lets be real. Theyre both awesome and lucky to have each other. Glad y'all made it safe, its a rough and violent world out there sometimes!
Your the Captain, Billy is the first mate. That's a fact. I know this was 4 months ago but still tuff to watch what Dorian did. Just a good reminder there is a lot of help needed down there for a long while.
Billy is definitely the captain and he does a great job at it! He is way calmer than I am 😌 We make a good team :)

Oh sweet Sierra, I too was feeling so sad for your friends in the Bahamas after Dorian went through, destroying so many homes, lives and property! It hurt to see You so upset and yes, Jetty did feel that sorrow and tried to lick away those tears. Glad that Billy was to home soon after this posting because he of all people will be able to nurture your heart.

Oh my goodness Sierra, well you just put Billy out of an Editing job :) That was just an incredible Vlog to watch, you shared so much... I cried with you at the end with regards to the Bahamas, i know and have known so many amazing people over the years throughout the family islands. Jetty is a superstar, i love that dog! Congrats on everything you guys are doing.
You guys are awesome. We are in the Bahamas, now. We collected donations through a FB campaign and delivered relief iitems to a minister and school principal in Coopers Town, two weeks ago, then shot over to Green Turtle Cay to donate a few small items. We were overwhelmed by the support we got from family and friends to give aid to these beautiful people. We have seen the destruction firsthand. Green Turtle Cay has power and water and the sense of community there is incredible. Elsewhere, from Guana Cay to Treasure Cay to Marsh Harbour to Hope Town is destruction on a level we have never seen. Everything is destroyed. Sunken boats and building rubble litters the inner harbors. Few landmarks remain. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see the damage, in person. We have been in the Abacos since the 13th of December and we are heading to Eleuthera, as soon as the weather allows because this is heartbreaking and so very difficult. Thank you for all you guys have done and continue to do for the people of the Bahamas. David & Terri Albright, SV Odonata.

Not sure where to start, you both exhibit what it means to one with self and to nature, you are both giving and beautiful, surprisingly I have found this to be a huge part of the sailing community, the question is why us, why not all of us! We live by the wind.
Grenada is very safe and everybody is very helpful. I enjoyed my time there.

Sierra, there is a US charity called Direct Relief which gets 100% of all donations to disaster victims. Their administrative overhead is zero, apparently funded by an endowment. Top rated by Charity Navigator and others, and you can specify where your donations will go. FWIW. 100% goes to the victims.

We usually do but now always! Depends if we got all the sand off in the salt water.

I missed when you mentioned the marina you were in there. Which one did you stay in? Do they charge extra for Cats? How long does your insurance require you to be outside the hurricane belt?
Hi! We stayed at Port Loius marina. They did not charge extra but some marinas do. (usually around 25-50 more cents a foot). Our insurance required us to be below the belt from July 1- November 1st :)
