We don't have to support things from our culture if it contradicts the Word of God
I think you should do your own research to find out what the movie is about and maybe listen to some reviews before deciding if you want to see it. It may not be a good idea to make a decision based on one person’s opinion.
This is not a story about Jesus, it’s about Clarence and the duality of humans. I encourage you to take a look at Jeymes Samuel’s interview on the Breakfast Club and any other interviews he and LaKeith Stansfield did about the movie so that you can speak from a place of understanding. Black people have a bad habit of tearing each other down and often from a place of ignorance. Let’s not perpetuate that bad habit. You still may not want to see the movie but at least when you speak on it, it will be from a place of knowledge.
I'll check out the interview, can you send me a link? I may watch it when it gets streamed, but I know Jay-Z's stance on Christianity, which makes me hesitant to support it. Thank you for watching, and I appreciate your insight
@@DABourne227With all due respect- the movie is not anti Christianity or anti Jesus. You are basing your opinion on the trailer - which is a mistake. In reality- the argument can be made that the movie is pro Christianity.
I'm hearing the movie isn't as blasphemous as expected. I'll check it out...when it comes on streaming. I appreciate the feedback and thank you for watching!
