i know that you can use the relative minor of c major which is A minor...
but can you also use A aeolian???(i believe not but just need a bit of clarification)
yes, you can..the relative minor of cmajor is a aeolian ..i think you are thinking of cmajor pentatonic and a minor pentatonic...5 notes instead of 7
C mixolydian will have you covered for a lot of it! Try and pick out the major third of each of the chord changes too!
