  • In this video, I explain the importance of feeling joy and why this is so crucial to healing. Focusing on cultivating positive emotions is so important when healing from dizziness and helps our brains to focus on the solutions instead of our problems.

Bless you. I also felt so alone and thought it was just me going through it. You are definitely not imagining it, your feelings are valid and what you feel is real! I'm sorry it's take you so long to get a diagnosis and I really hope you can move towards healing and feeling better. Lots of free content on my channel to help you get there ❤️🫶

Have you tried or considered trying an SSRI for the pppd? I am scared to try it but have read scientific articles by Dr. Staab that it helps with pppd and just recently I have heard that SSRI drugs help with Neuroplasticity!

Hey, no I've never been on any medication. In my opinion I think medication should be used as a last resort, if you really feel like you're struggling and cannot cope. There is definitely a need for it but I never got to that point (although felt like I was close at times). Medication/ painkillers/ alcohol etc affects the signals in the brain which means it just covers up and dumbs down how you're really feeling. So its just a short term fix. If you wanted to try it you could work with your doctors to try them with a view to gently wean yourself off them when you're ready...BUT that's a big decision to make and of course what you decide is down to you. I have also read SSRIs can improve Neuroplasticity but I'm not sure I can buy into that because Neuroplasticity is something you have to do for yourself. You have to feel into your body in order to change it. I hope that helps and whatever decision you make I'm sure it will be the right one for you 🙏🏼❤

Hello Emma. Do you believe staying on the positive side naturally heals dizziness in time? I’m having such a hard time staying positive whilst dizziness is 24/7. I feel it increases after a walk when i come home. So i get scared to go outside and do things due to this experience. How can i overcome this? By the way my head feels like empty. Is this dizziness?

Having a positive mindset definitely does help because it helps you to focus on what you can do rather than what you can't. That said, it is absolutely OK and normal to have days and moments when you feel anything but positive. Struggling with negative thoughts/ feelings is all a part of healing but instead of staying stuck in that place search for things you can do to feel more positive. The more positive you are the more positive your brain will rewire to be. That is Neuroplasticity. Move TOWARDS healing not away from it. Be gentle though and take it one day at a time. Sending love ❤️

Also, don't give up your walks, keep going! When you come home sit down and close your eyes, take some deep breath. Allow your body to come back down and feel more steady. Literally wait for the dizziness to pass or for symptoms to lessen. Don't force it, just allow. And try not to be scared. Fear will only make symptoms worse xx
