I cleaned mine out and set mine up with the angstrom gravitas and digitas lube with weight 5 on the exposed metal of the screws and around the adjustment system and core. the white one on the pieces and the clear Vaseline looking one on the inside tracks. One piece inside sides with white one. One different piece with the clear one on the tracks then reinsert the pieces and break it In a bit. Then a couple decent drops of mystic then a little bit more breaking in. Feels mostly smooth and quiet. Haven’t done a ton of solves to it yet hopefully it get feeling better and be more quieter or smooth as it breaks in more.

It seems like the Dayan tengyun v1 and v2 are the quietest on the market. Could you do a video where you test the 2 cubes on different settings and lube combinations to see how quiet they can be?

Reasons to get the tengyun V1:

I’m happy they kept the low noise and the week magnets on the V2, I’m waiting for it in the mail 😬
The guhong v3 is a bit too clicky and the magnets are a bit too strong to my taste, so i prefer to use the tengyun V1 for OH
Personnaly I find the Tengyun too unstable so i use the rs3m without the screws in the corners as my oh main

I'm currently choosing between the v1 and v2 since I need a quiet cube to take places. But I still want it to be nice is usage. Is one more quiet than the other? Couldn't really make that up in this video
compared to the guhong 3m, how smooth does this cube feel and how strong are magnets on number 2 compared to the guhong's? Also, is the tengyun v2 really quiet?
It comes with a spare core because if you tighten the screw too far it messes up the core

Probably not
Yesss! If price is not a factor, I will still prefer the tengyun v2. With the gan xs being so light, there isn't much momentum in the turning which makes the cube feel quite slow though it is fast. Plus, the tengyun v2 is quieter.
One thing I don't like about the gan xs is that the piece design is so basic it looks cheap. And somehow the gan feels a bit like a meilong. By only looks, tengyun v2 knocks the gan xs out already. With a bit more weight(it is still quite light) it just feels so premium. One problem I have with my gan 356m(not the xs but their corner magnet design is the same) is that the cornet magnet was not securely in place and made clickily sound. (the magnets on the gan are not glued by the way) I think it is my cube defect by the corner magnet design on the tengyun v2 is very secure. There is a slot and the magnet capsule fits snugly in place. I also find the pieces on the gan extremely thin(that's how they made it so light) and can bend easily. And when you squeeze the cube the pieces in the edge sort of dislocate as it clip design does not hold the pieces in play that well.
However, with the tengyun v2 the tensions may be harder to be equal due to not having plastic core. But the pro to it is that you will have more tensioning possibility.

You sound like you are not so advanced yet, so it may be a bit risky to buy this cube. When you get good, better cubes will be out. Having a good cube do not matter so much if you already have a decent budget cube, especially if you just started cubing and learnt advance method. But whatever😂

If your turning is "harsh" every major puzzle will lock up. No one cube is designed for inaccurate turning.
Ok then in that case I have a little magicc and I love it's speed but my problem with that is it pops a lot and has frequent conner twist so can u please suggest an upgrade like the wrm or the tengyun also I luv ur channel thanks for replying so quickly
No modern puzzle should pop or corner twist much, if at all. It wounds like you need to tighten your puzzle. If that cube is popping you will get the same results on any other modern puzzle.
Can you do a GAN 354v2M vs GAN 356M?
I've been back and forth on this. The main difference is the size. The 354 feels a little less "rounded" which I believe stems from the pieces being smaller but other than that they are very similar.

I magnetised my gan r, but the magnets were way too strong. Is there a quick fix to this w/o buying a new set of magnets?
You cannot just make the magnets weaker.

That is one way of doing it. I don't know how to get that to be accurate though.
