Hey y’all! This video was for educational purposes only! I tried covering everything without getting to specific!
Definitely super helpful!! Thanks again for the informational videos!!
Yes please let us know how to make our diesel trucks whistle more
Where’s the truck whistle video? Link it up
I'm a ford 6.9 idi/7.3 idi diesel guy
For Cummins trucks the egr was introduced when the 3rd gen models came out in 2002, the dpf was added when the 6.7 came out in 2007.5, and the scr/def was added in 2013.
The guys weren't strong enough to keep the woman off Pandora's Box. She was squealing out of her mouth all of the evils of the world That's why we got emissions. Even though it was perverted sex and sin that caused the storms
Only CA models had egr in 2002
For Ford the 6.0 was the first with a egr cooler and egr valve for emissions of that there were two generations 03-early 04 had a round egr cooler where 04-07 had a square one supposedly solving egr cooler failures, cracks, and clogs… after that was the 6.4 with a dpf and yet again and egr but this time two coolers one being located on a slant across driver front cylinder head and other sitting just above the manifold on the driver side. Lastly is the 6.7 which is equipt with def, dpf and egr systems in order to be compliant
I have a 06 6.0 powerstroke bought it bone stock 4.5 months ago with 95k since buying it I did the hot an cold side piping s&b intake xdp intake manifold 3 core aluminum radiator crankcase reroute an getting it studded an removing the stock turbo an doing a s369 with 225 injectors an a fast lift pump an going to do all new headgaskets an see how far I can take the 6.0 an just how much the block can handle!!
My LLY has egr still(deleting asap), it has a old cts tuner and the truck is straight piped other than 1 small muffler and I can put the tuner on stock and the truck will roal coal fairly easy
ford started some egr on 6.0 and the 6.4 was when they started with the dpf filter and more egr stuff and the 2011 6.7 was when they introduced the def
Good overview! Got lucky with tuner I chose back in the day and my LMM hardly smokes like yours. 👍
Probably ATP trucks!
@@JWMontoya no, but I really wanted there gear. I went with someone closer to me in upper Midwest. Out of respect, I'd rather not say, at least not these days. However, it was back when you "could" do it.😉
Efi live???
I have a 60hp single tune and it dumps smoke if i floor it. I don't like to do it though, rolling coal is why we have dpf and def now
You need cleaner tunes, have a boost leak or dirty filters
Love the video but don't forget the smoke switch which turns the turbo off
So does that basically mean it doesn’t spool as fast ?
As a diesel owner this pains me.
Fuck knows why people try to do it
With ford the first powerstroke was made in 1994.5 which was the 7.3 liter but they slapped a turbo on it. 2003 was the last year of the 7.3 because it wasn't "complaint" with the standards back then Then came along the 6.0 with egr coolers and all the restriction stuff
I just bought a 2001 7.3 f350 with only 70k miles on it. I LOVE IT. I purposely looked for a 7.3 when truck hunting
on cummins in 2007 i believe they added dpf then on 2010 is when they added def
If you want smoke you need to find a low boost fuel tune.
I CAMs here because i drive a 2021 fed f550 tow flatbed n my truck rolls coal 😂 I love it
It’s like burnouts. I have a supercharged muscle car. I don’t sit in one spot and melt my tires. Idiotic.
What's the potential for damage??
How much trouble is it to change a single tune.
I actually don’t see how that could be good for the engine, but I’ve never researched any of it
I plan on doing a video on that.
@@JWMontoya hey great man, I’m putting a 7” lift on my 2014 Silverado waiting on it to come in
I got 7 on my 7.3 ford good video.
Dude i have a gasser but want a Cummins so badly.
Can you do another video on how to make them whistle ? I feel like you didn’t touch enough on it
Get a cat
Straight pipe with a k&n intake, no??
I'm a trucker and I drive a 18 wheeler I roll coal all the time
@@OrangeDiamond33 the fucks wrong with you
how do i get rid of the egr emition light in vw deisel car?
Hardly explained what’s actually going on. “Tuning and deleting.” Lol talking in circles
yeh mate, show us how they whistle
This is a proper manly pursuit, up there with hunting and fishing and running a BBQ. Makes lefties cry which is always a W.
That's what gives diesels a bad name.
It definitely gets us in trouble
@@JWMontoya It is literally what got the EPAs attention and brought us into the current situation. Don't like people getting busted for selling deletes? Thank the morons who liked to "roll coal".
How dare you say that 😢
Cry about it diesel trucks keep country’s running
What about Diesel swapped cars
5:37 - to get into it.
Ford and first diesel only had it four days so far
Is this what some people do when they're not drowning puppies?
Awesome, and very informative content JW!
Thank you only video on how to roll
hello Montoya I saw video about the edge evoth2. I have 2021 gmc denali I like to know if I can install in my truck thank you
I don’t even have a diesel but this video was informative 👍🏽
how do you find tuns
with diesel at the price it is, rolling coal is pretty expensive. And of course, if you modify the emissions system on a diesel truck and get caught, then that's a whole 'nuther level of expensive.
As for is it legal? Not in Colorado, and it's illegal at the state level in Maine, Utah, New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut. But that's just the cheery on top, because it's illegal to mod the emissions system in every state.
Tell us about the whistle!
Cummins 2010-2011 got dpf, egr they got it around 06 with the new front end style.
They got the emissions stuff in mid 2006 when they released the 6.7 Cummins
2010 6.7 does not have def
Had a turbo boot pop off on my LML while it was stock lol started pouring black smoke, thought I was so cool going 15 mph
Saw that on the highway today. Dude blew past me blowing coal, anytime he’d even tough the accelerator, cruising 10 below speed limit, black clouds.
Its the dudes on 22s and 33s with the 100hp tune without changing anything on the intake. That are why shops are getting fined and the EPA are all over us.
Best feature of Diesel
What about a f-350 non turbo Diesel
I want to swap the turbo for a super charger on my first deisel
Honestly I wouldn’t even be talking about this right now
This isn’t anything new
How do I get my LLY to sound like that?
Like how?
how do you guys feel about motor ops tuning ? i'm looking for my truck to roll coal (off road only of course)
Motor ops won’t roll coal. As I stated in the video, their tunes are clean
Mo whistle, mo whistle, mo!!
BTW not every diesel needs to be deleted
Here before this gets taken down..lololol
Some one did it to me as a road rage method I was thinking well done
Good thing Ohio don’t have inspections
2011 was the first year of DEF. Lml. The lmm only has egr
Cummins put egr and dpf on the 2007 6.7 Cummins that lasted to the 2012 models and went to def models on 2013
The tent one is vicious
This is a great way to get a screwdriver shoved in your radiator…
my dads truck is turned and deleted and does not roll coal it’s a cummins
Yes
7.3 was pre emission that’s why it’s the best powerstroke because it wasn’t fucked in the rear by the government especially OBS models the NBS 7.3s didn’t have an emissions system either
lb7 do it right
It’s funny a lot of people don’t realise a lot of family cars had diesel engines and roll a bit of coal I’ve got a Passat with a diesel engine and a big cloud of smoke comes out of you floor it
Company in Iowa just got a million dollar fine for selling mods
6.0 had a egr 6.4 had dpf and the 6.7 had a egr dpf and scr powerstroke
My lml is tuned and deleted and it doesn’t roll coal even on tune 5 why would that be?
You truck isn’t getting enough excess fuel being dumped into the engine.
Bc you have clean tuning which means your truck is running efficiently
Ask tuner for a LBF tune
So my 2003 duramax has no egr no emissions
👍
Why did my gasoline truck roll coal?
Turbo whistle
I second that.
Turbo whistle
My stock 7.3idi will roll alittle coal
Chemtrails... Now also on the streets...
Why would my deleted lml duramax not blow a lot of black smoke. It does a little but not a lot.
bc you have good tunes
@@JWMontoya are you being sarcastic or serious? Lol so it blowing lots of black smoke mean it’s bad tuning?
@@JWMontoya thanks for the reply btw!
Diesel power 💨💨💨
Black smoke= lost power! my deleted LML =100hp rolls no coal!
My lml has cp3, wherli piping, up pipes downpipe, studded, lift pump and doesn’t smoke either. I have some dirty tunes but I don’t use them lol
What is the first truck so beautiful
What is the point? Compensate for a small .. you know. ??
And this is why the EPA is cracking down the few ruined it for the many
This is just it. Just because you “can do something” doesn’t mean you “should do something”.
That’s the problem with society. We lack any common sense and morality that we need to be told not to do things that can possibly harm people.
No. EPA only even exist because of far left “climate crisis” cultists forcing their quasi-religious apocalyptic fanfics on us with their phony policies.
So why not just hit a button roll coal the hit button again back to stock like with loud exhaust
cant wait to have a diesel 🤩
Bet you can't wait for all the extra cost to own an maintain and drive one too. It's not for the faint of heart.
@@TeamTopKick haha yea!! Bet you dont know me though haha
@@TeamTopKick I’m ready for all that
@@xPassword I don't know you and I wasn't trying to be mean. Didn't know if you ever owned a diesel before just a warning on how expensive it can get maintaining or operating one. Kinda a heads up. I seen a lot of people want a diesel than sell it for a gasser because they didn't know what they got them self into
@@TeamTopKick yea np!! dont worry i wasn't offended at all!! nothing was mean in your comment. im "kinda" aware of the gap between the gaz truck and diesel truck, i dont think its that much more expensive then switching from a 2.4L 4cylinder to a ram 2008 5.7L Hemi..Is it?
Nope never heard any of those words and don't drive a car never have but i do know how to make smoke bombs, pyrotechnics and explosives so i saw smoke and clicked on the video haha
Guess Cummins is finding out what 2.5 billion will cost them
Isn’t having a deleted truck illegal in the us though.
Whistle noise
i would so do this on just stop oil protestors.... that would go viral XD
Everyone acts like diesel is a truck only thing
Why would you make a video like this? It should be a rule 30 and up before you can delete your truck because it’s normally young kids blowin massive amounts of coal
I assume you didn't finish watching the video before commenting
Rolling coal is the politically correct way to say, “Yup, I’m inbred”.
It's true... Look at the video.
or i just like the sound and i know damn well when i was a kid, i loved when people roaled coal with there trucks
And your a liberal
You sound like a Biden supporter
You’re just mad you’re a pussy.
Why I stopped driving diesels . Associated my truck with trash
Fishermen near me need diesel engines in their boats, because they have to have the torque. You'd need a huge gasoline engine to do the same thing. On the road? Not so much, and diesel is a lot more than gasoline. Those electric pickups are selling like crazy too.
Cummins all they way shawty 6.7 gang 😮💨🥵
Anyway the crap they put on these trucks now days. Ruined diesels
The best thing I've seen for all these trucks, is to get spray foam and unload the full can info the exhaust. It's the best thing in the world to see the engine explode!!! 😂
You achieve the sound desired by feeding the intake tube 100$ bills and actually putting quality parts in on and around your engine trans and every drive components cuz big power cost money. Do the hack big speaker, play CZcams loud of someone else’s nice ride haha
To me it allways looked like you had a piece of crap of a truck
Self
Chevy
Love the smoke & the smell!!❤️
Your
Mentally challenged. If you get caught in NJ, they can force you to fix it of take your truck off the rood.
Emissions system has nothing to do with rolling coal. I have an LB7 tuned to 550rwhp and you will see nothing out of my tail pipe. It all has to do with the tuning. Hire an amateur tuner and you will have lots of unburnt fuel rolling out your tail pipe, aka: black smoke. That's what it is, unburnt fuel, wasted. Hire a professional to tune your truck and not only will it make more power than the amateur's tune but you'll get better fuel economy too.
Rolling coal, the guys wearing fedoras of the diesel world
I rolled coal years ago with my N/A 6.2 with the pump was turned up a bit o 11:22 n a little rice burner with a boom radio who stopped off my left side rear. I figured if he could pollute the air with his noise I could fill his car with smoke. LOL. He didn’t get it and started revving his engine too, although he had to be having a rough time breathing and seeing by that time 😂
25,000 fine for tampering with a diesel exhaust, fuel system or DEF system on any truck made after 2012. Keep bragging
