Regardless of that this was one of the best premier league teams of all time. But people will dismiss it because they didn’t win the league

One of the greatest PL matches of all time
The match was so tough, that Man City had to defend in a low block towards the end. It was shocking & my 1st time seeing a Pep team have lower possession (49% if I remember correctly).
Man city played in low block vs Bayern twice last year in both legs but they bullied Bayern physically. Different team to the 18/19 to be honest

That was the greatest season of PL to ever exist. City 99 points, Liverpool 98. City played played the best football in Country's history while Liverpool had the greatest trio in world football alongside MSN. Van Dijk and Allison were world-class. Sterling and Sane had the season of their life. Previous PL centurions vs CL winners. From a neutral PL fan perspective, it was unbelievable tactical masterclass from both teams but were quite scary how far ahead these two teams were in terms of quality than the rest 18.
Hopefully this title race between Liverpool, City and Arsenal will be similar. Once Liverpool win Carabao, they won't lose a single game like in 23/24, City have a consistent pattern of winning, Arsenal play an attractive brand of football. All 3 teams are highly likely to hit 90+ points.

Fernandinho this match is forever ingrained in my mind, he was absolutely unbelievable one of the best performances from a dm I’ve ever seen imo
The game was also a huge break for Guardiola. Over 4 games prior to this, he didn’t have a win vs Klopp, losing in both UCL legs, at Anfield last season and drawing again in the same season. It took fine margins and exceptional individual ability to beat Klopp.

Klopp competing with a midfield of milder&henderson.
While also having Lovern as cb is crazy
1) Henderson then was excellent.
2) Klopp chose to go with Milner over Fabinho, he wasn't short on anything.
3) Man City had Danilo as well. A player known to not be elite ant any aspect of the game.
4) Pep also had to play with a CB on the LB position, which as you've just seen, did limit the passing range demanded.
It was a fair match with fairly balanced quality between the 2 sides. None can really complain.
Fernandinho and Vincent Kompany are criminally underrated legends.

That game of football had it all, goals, plenty of chances, near misses, drama, rough challenges and an amazing atmosphere. Our home atmosphere is often ruined by tourists who go to the game not as fans but rather simple spectators especially in smaller games. But I remember this game the crowd was on it pretty much the whole 90. The only time there was a bit of a dump in the atmosphere was the first few minutes after Firmino's equalizer but then they got straight back onto it. What a game! The highest level of football I've ever seen in a Premier League game, hands down.

It's a shame you didn't talk about or show the rest of the buildup of the Liverpool goal, because it was a beautiful piece of sustained possession. It's not often you see City cut through like that.
This was definitely the highest quality match I've ever seen in this league, for sure. Incredibly evenly matched teams with world class players across the pitch, and the match was defined by the absolute smallest of margins.

I actually think Liverpool 4 - 3 City in 2018 was the best match in history. City were seen as formidable and impossible to defeat that season. But the way Liverpool rattled them that game showed the world that Liverpool were on their way to dominate Europe.
Liverpool didn't dominate europe at all they were always underdogs only won 1 ucl against the biggest bottlers in history tottenham even chelsea won 2 more ucl more than them in two decades.
