And Tobirama made three clones, while maintaining part of the barrier strong enough to contain the 10-Tails. So his chakra was kinda being pushed.
he could only make 3 clones with the edotensei, without more than likely 7 shadow clones. and Hashirama more than likely more than 10, remember these guys are complete power houses. It's not really right to compare the 2 brothers with each other but even when you do the fact that Tobirama can still hold his own against a mangekyou Madara for a while in a serious battle though not as long as his brother, i think it's worth noting. Tobirama is a water freak and has massive reserves of chakra i'd say a bit more than a tailed beast somewhere between more than the 8 tails and a bit less than the 9 tails. His intelligence cannot be undermined as well as his combat prowess, him being in war since a child plays a huge factor in all his battles. i believe he would see the akatsuki as a threat but not to him lol. He is a strategist, which is what i love about his character . always thinking ahead

I think Tobirama just has a lot of battle experiences and battle smarts and that alone is a huge advantage. He survived the first Great War and I think that says a lot. I’m not saying others don’t have battle smarts but he fought along side the first hokage and against madara and lived so
I fell victim to the Tobirama downplay years back but now it’s honestly so confusing to me.
It is established that he is faster than prime Madara, hashirama and juubito
Has AP strong enough to break the deity gates that tanked attacks from the 10 tails, and cut through the god like butter
He has the flying thunder God, Edo Tensei, shadow clones, all five chakra natures, and is one of the two best water users of all time.

And on top all that He’s the smartest character in the series
madara, a person who only respects power, respected the hell out of Tobirama, and he barely respected anyone. He was on his level from the beginning and there was no statement of that changing or Tobirama becoming irrelevant.

I think people downplay him because he said that Base Minato was better at using Body Flicker (wich people confuse with FTG).
But even if it was FTG, Minato having better FTG is the same as Kabuto having a better Edo Tensei. So I don't get how they assume that Tobirama sucks because of that
I honestly think it’s just cuz (while fatigued and trying to keep them off of his team) he lost to the gold and silver force who were 20 Elite shinobi with two 9 tails Jinchuriki (Jiraiya almost died to 4tails kid Naruto) wielding the so6p weapons that were stated to make you stronger than the 5 Kage in a data book.
The 2nd had a team that consisted of Tobirama, Kagami Uchiha, an akimichi, a kunoichi who mast have been top tier to be with them, possibly another Uchiha, young (possibly prime) Hiruzen, and young Danzo… absolutely stacked, and that team looked at the Kinkaku force and said “no way we can take them”
After being heavily nerfed by edo tensei, not both being in their final form, not using their weapons, without their team and getting super unlucky… they were battering an entire fleet that had a future Raikage, multiple Jonin level fighters, and multiple members from the Konoha 12 which is the most prodigious group ever. The Sanin are using team work are considered at 9x power compared to how strong they are individually and ino shika cho is considered better at teamwork than even them. THEY ARE NO JOKE. Beyond Kage level, they are Demi god level at full power.

It still irritates me how badly the community downplays Tobirama and w`nks Minato.
I just talked with a guy who thinks KCM Minato could beat Jubidara. And the reason he gave me was that because tobirama is praising Minato means that Base Minato is stronger than Tobirama wich is faster than Madara so by "basic scaling" with KCM he sould be compared to Jubidara and would blitz Hashirama.

I really like Minato because of all the hype and it took a while for me to swallow the fact that Tobirama would wash KCM2 Minato.
I saw Swagkage literally put Sage Mode Jiraya and 4 Tails Naruto above Tobirama. It just blew my mind. That the biggest Naruto powerscaler, literally puts Base Minato above Base Hashirama.
He made a video about Minato vs Tobirama, and it was just so bad for Tobirama, he made 0 arguments for Tobirama and also mentioned 0 anti feats for Minato but decided to go all out on Tobirama anti feats (Kin and gin wich isn't even an anti feat) and then when he says "Madara stated that Tobirama was the fastest of his time" but THAT COULD MEAN ANYTHING.
Like I don't usually get mad at Naruto content but that Tobirama vs Minato absolutely made me furious.

edo tobirama who was bitzed by juubito was able to place 10 paper bombs and the ftg seal on him, also he fought uchiha his entire life so he surely knows how to deal with genjutsu, literally him raising his finger scares sasue orochimaru and suigetsu, tbh i think he has itachi like mid/high diff and then he loses to pain but its like extreme difficulty
I think he has a better chance against pain than Itachi. He’s the perfect counter for pain and way stronger than Sage Naruto. Itachi was going blow for blow with kcm naruto, who was comparable to Minato in speed, who is faster than Tobirama. And he has hacks on top of hacks on top of hacks. I think he and possibly Obito are hard counters to Tobirama. Both good fights though.
He might know how to deal with regular genjutsu but he most certainly can't do anything against tsukuyomi, it's unbreakable and the damage happens in a fraction of the second

@@drowning.macaco it's been stated in Itachi shinden(which is completely cannon btw) that the user of tsukuyomi is given complete control of time in the victims mind, in the novel he makes izumi uchiha experience an entire lifetime in a fraction of a second. It's 2023 i hope you know that a lifetime doesn't pass in 3 days, on top of that it's been stated in the data books that tsukuyomi is unbreakable, the victim knows he's under genjutsu but can't do anything about it (just like in Kakashi's case) it's said that someone with a mangekyo can resist the tsukuyomi to some degree and it can only be broken by someone who's related to the user by blood. Tobirama CAN'T break out of it. You're just getting your 3 days stat cause Itachi made Kakashi experience 3 days, bro he was an ally of the leaf and didn't wanna kill kakashi,izuna had the mangekyo but i highly doubt if he was as strong as Itachi, get your facts straight dumbass

Special Jounin actually exist in Naruto, referred to as Tokubetsu Jounin, and they are in fact weaker than true Jounin. So you probably should have compared Asuma to the true elite shinobi like Kakashi.
Asúma is actually a special Jonin. He is one of the guards selected to protect the fire lords or whatever. They never go into detail and the only other guy I can remember is some monk guy who also has that hankerchief towel he wears dangling on his waist. So honestly his status is irrelevant lmao but he is indeed special just never elaborated and the show power scaled up so fast after the forest of death/fingers of death in Naruto’s booty Bell test

Being a special Jounin doesn't make you weak. Genma was taking on S Rank level Baki (the strongest in the sand) byhimself. During the series we are only shown the top of the top shinobi, and it's like people don't recognise that.

both Genma and Raido used to be the BODYGUARDS of Minato, the ones responsible for protecting the Yellow Flash.
Anko straight up has jutsu speed compared to Pre-Sage Mode Kabuto
Asuma is stated almost equals to Kakashi
Choza is stated the strongest war potential of the Leaf and can keep up with the Gedo Mazo
Kurenai is stated to have equal genjutsu to Itachi, the only reason itachi won was because he had a COUNTER GENJUTSU thanks to his sharingan (I could be wrong on this one).
Inuzuka Tsume the strongest from the Inuzuka clan (Kiba's clan). Kiba the one who later was cutting up Giant TenTails Minions.
Hayate (chunin exams) Kabuto thought he was strong enough to be brought back with the Edo Tensei.
This are the ones I can think about, people think that this are like mid tier jonin but all of them have insane feats compared to a "regular Jonin" like Koketsu.

And I would also mention that dying against Ginkaku and Kinkaku is NOT an anti feat.
First of all, it's confirmed that the first encounter was a surprise attack according to the Raikage.
And during the second attack, Kinkaku and Ginkaku where litteraly with 20 Elite Shinobi with an unknown lvl. So taking this into argument for downplaying Tobirama is not good at all because we don't even know how strong the 20 others ninja where.
Taking this off-screen fight like an anti-feat without even knowing what did it really happened is like saying Hashirama is a fodder because he didn't killed Kakuzu while Kakashi was able to kill him.
And we can also easily make the argument that Tobirama was out of chakra as he didn't even tried to teleport away with his team while he would have easily did it if he could (he has a mark at Konoha).
As we know he litteraly teleported 2 giants Kurama avatar during WA without even sweating. So yeah...
And I didn't even talked about his AP who scale far above any of the Akatsuki member's durability

I think Sasori is a tricky one. If it's a battle where he can hide himself I think he can put hundreds of traps with his 100 puppets technique that could potentially kill tobirama with just a scratch. with his puppet body, I don't know how good he can hide from tobirama, but if it makes him harder to be found then he could be more troublesome than kakuzu

But yeah, tobirama could use hiraishin to get out of the trap easy if he managed to notice it before any of the poison needle hit him, everyone with hiraishin is a nightmare to be honest.

Add their natural strength, and then their 9 tails chakra, and they are very clearly above sannin power.
Tobirama is stronger than EMS Sasuke who can equal KCM Naruto in power. So Tobirama > EMS Sasuke = KCM1 Naruto > Rampage Naruto that fought Pain ≈ Pain. EMS Sasuke as you said is as strong as Alive Itachi, so Tobirama > EMS Sasuke = Itachi.

Chiyo who was way past her prime and Sakura at the very beginning of Shippuden, who was still at chuunin level at the time and couldn’t defeat Kakashi even working together with Naruto.

What makes this scenario worse is that the manga never shown Tobirama at his epitome of skill and ability. We don't really know the true extent of Tobirama's power. He fought Kurama's hellspawn twins so Tobirama would solo most of the Akatsuki, the only difficulty he'd face would be Pain.
That's why we need a Tobirama manga so we can see what he is truly capable of

Sorry but alive tobirama has no ap to beat kisame with his regeneration. Tobirama could only beat kisame without samehada, and even then it’d be very hard for him to win. Also, sasori is above sannin level since he should be in the same tier as hanzo, but tobirama should still win.

Tobirama could beat everyone up to Kisame then he loses. He doesn’t beat the top 4. (Kisame, Nagato, Obito, Itachi)
Kisame is stronger, way better Chakra pool and is the better water style user.
Nagato has dojutsu and is simply put waay more versatile than him. Nothing he could do would be of use
Obito has sharingan and kamui and hashirama cells .tobirama has no counters

I think tobirama would clap kisame, yes kisame has better waterstyle feat, but tobirama is not leagues behind,plus tobirama is faster and smarter than kisame, i can see tobirama letting kisame think he gets the win then tobirama just snipe him with a marker he placed on him before, when minato is famous for ftg kisame would expect it from minato, but he would not expect it from tobirama, and i doubt hes gonna get any chakra from tobirama to amp his samehada fusion, i think tobirama got the win against kisame.
as for itachi i think it can go either way, yes itachi is crazy has all this op scaling, speed scaling high, powerful, but if you look at tobirama hes a direct counter to uchiha, uchiha has firestyle, tobirama is water style master, he has the darkness genjutsu for the sharingan, and for the perception of the sharingan, tobirama has FTG, so while i think it can go either eay, if itachi wins its not gonna be a stomp plus tobirama has way more chakra.
As for pain, it depends on how good tobirama is at ftg, but as for obito i think tobirama loses that( he might lose to pain as well mind you, just think he stands a better time against pain than obito, never heard tobirama ever fought a teleporter he might be fast enough to work out kamui and still lose).
