@@SatorisYT narratively Denji is a multi faceted dynamic complex Character then Yuji and Fujimoto has an excellent way of writing realistic conversation.
CSM has a far better female cast, better art, is more mysterious, slightly more creative fights, and more attention to detail, the importance and significance of fights, and emotion
JJk has a better Male cast, flight choreography, and much less vague power-system however
1. The villains in CSM are superior I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with being evil for the sake of being evil but their motives are being evil are sensible but not to the point that you feel sorry for them they don’t have sob stories or anything they’re reasons for apposing Denji just makes sense makima is a far better villain than sukuna at her personalization with him is what truly allows me to hate her while at the same time, I fall in love with her writing, because she’s intelligent enough to know that she’s wrong. She displays genuine human emotion and appreciation for humanity and then she still does the fucked up shit she does. She still moves forward with her plan…. She still terrible to Denji, despite being smart enough to know that she’s wrong.
Sukuna he’s just portrayed as being basically animalistic “I eat when I want to, sleep when I want to, and do as it pleases me if you entertain me, I play with you” he’s just not that complex he’s still a great villain
2. Aki’s character arc is marvelously written he goes from hitting Devils to put in his life on the line for them he learns that not all Devils are bad and in their own way they can be like people to. But another aspect of his character is how his self destructive tendency is displayed. He’s a danger to himself more than anyone, but he doesn’t care about his own life Aki is suicidal without directly saying it he was broken the moment his parents died. And it’s put on full display he doesn’t always seem like a sobbing, crying mess who’s always mopey, and said as most writers attempt to write depressed suicidal characters he still goes on with his life he still tries but it’s clear he’s reckless with every move
3. Power and Denji relationship is a beautiful codependency and complicated unconventional type of love the way Fujimoto writes romance is it oh novelty
JJK lacks interesting villains, Gojo kneecaps the focus of the viewer, characters, don’t question themselves enough, and do not do enough self reflection and I understand that’s part of the writing but it makes the story less interesting when characters are not written to change part of the reason I hate MHA is because Deku never changes his ideal at his core he is the same person while yuji acknowledges he’s not the most important person in the world he still wants to help and protect people
Denji’s big change is putting down makima… yes he says that he loves her but nonetheless, he finds the resolve to let go because she is a terrible person throughout the entire series or led to believe that Denji does things for Makima he holds himself back from Makima he does Devil hunting for Makima and is infatuated with her, but throughout the story her eventually pushed her aside in favor of power’s needs and her peace of mind and this is just done so beautifully he was ready to die because he would have to live in a world without power, which is ironic because he spent so much time chasing Makima but for some reason was ready to die if the world didn’t include Power. That’s why chainsaw man is better. Yuji is not forced to make changes that drastic in terms of Maslows hierarchy hierarchy of needs most characters start in the middle Yuji starts near top at like Tier 4 has a sense of self sometimes putting him at Tier 5 same with Deku Midoya after ep 2 or even Tanjiro these characters, all active very confidently with clear goals in mind and are generally very complete Denji is flawed and that’s what makes him such a good protagonist he has room for growth. He’s not perfect. He commits to morally reprehensible behavior he isn’t perfect, but it’s a learning process that I’m enjoying reading, watching him slowly learn where to find love, and building up his confidence in ability to express that he’s disgruntled with the situation is important to me as far as concerned with the story because he’s currently in Tier 2 he doesn’t have love or belonging. In fact, people are still wanting to him to this day but now he’s learning to express that it makes him uncomfortable he is learning to stand up for himself and is trying to form healthier relationships because while is relationship with power is endearing it wasn’t healthy for either of them, long-term power is too dependent and Denji didn’t have the ability at the time to return her feelings. Upon introduction, both power and Aki abused Denji the same thing happens with Fumkio but Denji is far quicker to speak out than he was with Aki.

Yeah man trust me, there's a lot to say on even the blackhole feat,
Me personally I don’t consider the black hole feat an offensive one as it’s most likely an exclusive result of Yuki’s ability but that doesn’t change the fact that Kenjaku did in fact tank the black hole for a notable amount of time before cancelling it out which means that Sukuna is at least planetary in just raw durability if not anything else. Which I don’t personally find surprising as Gojo is able to use attacks like purple which erase matter and Sukuna can somewhat tank it with CE reinforcement which means that Cursed energy doesn’t just boost durability but also somehow overall magic resistance I guess.
I think that Makima can beat Sukuna inside of Yuji at 15 fingers, its like a 50/50 at that point, but I think she gets badly stomped by Sukuna inside of Megumi and reincarnated Sukuna. He can use up to like 5 domain expansions back2back and he also said that he can close the barrier of his Shrine, so Makima and the devils cant get out, he also can use Mahoraga wheel to adapt to the bang ability and can summon the Shikigamis to counter being blown to space. Reincarnated Sukuna is just a hard stomp, I dont really like this narrative that he will find Makima interesting, because he went all out against Kashimo and world cutting slash destroys Makima and her devils. I would say it like this, if they are both bloodlusted Sukuna wins, if they are not Makima has a chance to win.
Mahoraga is a massive counter unfortunately
Makima and all of her devils can just regenerate back from world cutting slashes. Makima can also just teleport herself and anyone she controls out of the domain as well
Angel Devil himself is a hard counter to Mahoraga because he can imbue any special property he wants to his weapons. Not to mention the weapon hybrids would also be fighting as well.
@@catchdogshe has tons of abilities since she steals them from dead people. Adaptation has a limited amount of times it could be used so she would probably just spam hard hitting abilities until he can't adapt anymore
Makima would likely work to one shot Maho if he comes into the fight she has plenty oneshot skills especially to people she sees as less than herself. Also Sukuna doesn't have hands xD

I personally think higher ends for Makima can put up a very debatable fight with the JJK high tiers
She scales above the Justice Devil, who’s able to react and shift its body against Falling’s Gravity attack, and Gravity Waves move at the speed of light. Her 1,000 Year Spear is visually shown to get shot out of a star, distorting space as well, and even weakened Pochita can block it.
Though I think these speed arguments are more of a stretch as we lack concrete info, this is more of a highball for speed
She scales to Prime War, who herself was empowered by the Nuclear Weapons devil. Not only scaling to Nuclear Weaponry, but the larger concept of War would put her in the leagues of JJK Special Grades
The Horseman can scale to the Primal Fears, as Makima is shown to heavily injure Darkness and Fami controls Falling, and both Primals are considered Transcendent among devils that represent the Light of a Star and the eruption of a mountain
Never really liked the nuclear devil argument. We haven't seen the nuclear devil, we don't know how strong he was and we don't know how Pochita defeated him. It's like arguing the devil hunter who killed the gun devil probably has Mach 10+ levels of speed. Makima can be shot and killed with bullets, and her bangs never showed the fire power that was equivalent to a nuclear bomb.

JJK really dont have the ap ratios stated. 200% boosted gojo hollow purple is town-small city apwise, and sukunas 15 fingers domain expansion is a few city blocks. Sukuna doesnt have the speed, time, nor ap to really kill all japanese citizens. Maybe makima cant regenerate but since its damage reflection, its instant. Sukuna doesnt delete, he cuts, and he couldnt delete mahoraga since he kept on regening easily, then i doubt he can kill makima with fisical attacks.

Anyway, Having a slash that cuts space, doesn't actually give him a way to breathe in space. Sukuna also has no way of getting out of space, so no his ability to cut the world is useless here.
Sukuna is stronger than Yuki, but that doesn't mean he scales above a black hole. Yuki's black hole was specifically countered by ANTI GRAVITY. Which means no one would likely scale to it. Even if Sukuna did scale above the black hole, it still wouldn't save Sukuna from being blown into orbit.

Falling devils mere presence lead to severe earthquakes all over the world and she was trying to kill as less as she can and even tho both are primals darkness devil has to be far more powerful (2nd most after death devil)
It was also stated that there's no way of killing Fallin mommy devil which was true as we even if Denji sliced her into pieces and ate her she wasn't even bothered and got back like nothing then she stopped charging Denji in CSM form with a single finger also did those gravitation type attacks and the only moment she lost her cool she annihilated the justice devil in one shot

Dunno if you are scaling csm in the graveyard fight to denji in specific or are just using his name but reminder, since I see this in a ton of these battles, that wasn't denji, that was pochita.
Also considering the darkness devils form it could be similar to falling.
And going back to falling, the issue with her is that if we use the planetary feats for sukuna you could possibly upscale makima to her casual gravitational disruption in part 2.
Oh, also I don't see a need to use the cross verse contract stuff if we aren't using ce, it seems too unfair and pretty much gives makima the same advantage as if someone like higaruma hopped into a cross-verse equalised battle with her.
Also makima usually doesn't fight anywhere near any fight aside from pochita, where she was basically just excited to great him, and even then she uses proxys majority of time.
Also her fight with the gun devil was most likely than not a PR plot/ stunt for chainsaw man to get in the good graces of the public for her later plot to fight him, so it doesn't invalidate her darkness devil feat too much
Yeah I got the name wrong, I think I should have put a subtitle in saying "Pochita" the reason I think I said that was for people that don't read or watch chainsawman would get too confused on the differences between "Denji, Denji as chainsawman. Chainsawman as referred to by makima and then pocchita"
@@catchdog while I get it, better to make the difference clear, as pochita is a much better fighter, uses a myriad more techniques and takes out people denji couldn't fight 1v1 while they jumped him with additional backup. He straight up just outboxes quanxi after taking hefty damage and is even implied ( even though he didn't block them) to be able to see quanxis arrows after she fires them.
They don't scale to one another at that point

a good and enjoyable thing video I do have one or two thing's those. first thing is that I think what most people don't talk about when dealing with makima is that while yes makima is the control devil the control devil isn't just makima and by this I mean(spoilers for part 2) the control devil is in part 2 where as makima isn't so while a technical death has been shown for makima the same can't be said for the control devil however it seems the contracts so far are makima only. speaking on the technical death it wasn't just the eating of makima it was the fact that the chainsaw devil's stomach has a nebulas existence erasure power which is what happened. on to darkness and gun devil at the time makima was fighting they where both contracted to other's which might explain her control not working. now on to the jjk speed scaling while yes the mack 3 statement is dumb I disagree with ftl scaling for jjk mainy because it isn't consistent instead the most consistent thing in jjk are people being slower then lighting base kashimo scale's get's hit by lighting so dose toji in the anime and hikari in the kashimo fight. Also ftl sukuna would mean that gojo is ftl or relative which also mean that anyone who watched there fight can see and react to ftl which would be wired that half the verse is ftl through 2 or 3 feats. also you don't need to be light speed to not get sucked into a black hole which is different then escaping. the last thing there are only statements that state planetary for jjk and like zero feets most feets support city block to small town.
I really enjoyed the comment and I agree JJK probably isn't planetary or anything like that. The FTL stuff is just something that you can't ignore. Spectators in anime always can see people fight even in dragonball Bulma can see Vegeta beat up Golden Frieza. The best counter I see the JJK FTL, is simply saying Sukuna anticipated the attack.
Regarding Makimas control ability, it is honestly the biggest point of contention, equally as controversial as her immortality. That's why I left it up to you guys. These discussions are way more impactful than me simply saying something 100% works 💪
fair enough those I still think FTL for jjk is extremely inconsistent l just personal think lighting timer's are where top level's of speed are in jjk. to narrow it down a bit more the argument's for ftl feel shaky at best like the amber beast attack I think there is enough ambiguity in panel direction to say sukuna pre dodged the attack. those if I am being honest a lot the issues come from how gege has written sukuana and how I personal think the quality of writing has dropped since Shibuya. but thank you for the response also sorry for any speeling and grammar mistakes @@catchdog
Sukuna could also feed Makima his finger, the power to control others would probably be something Sukuna would desire, he could just summon all of the shadows, and take control over them before they disappear.
I think it depends on who initiates the fight, if Makima gets the drop on him she could just send him to hell before he comprehends the attack and then let darkness or falling or whatever other primary devils kill him

I’m pretty sure Mahoraga disappearing due to Sukuna’s domain was just creative liberty, since the domain never shows that level of damage in the manga. A friend had mentioned someone on the anime staff confirming this but they didn’t show me where this was confirmed so take it with a grain of salt

Chapter 52 Reze blatantly gave up she was initially fighting Makima off but after the loss of her arm and angels interference she gave up it’s not impossible for people to fight makima and avoid her control part of her ability seems to be that the person has to give up she can also control you if she can get you to display, some self doubt, or deprecation, like in chapter 82 with Denji, which can also make it easier to control the power doesn’t always outright work It seems that it’s conditional even Angel was able to briefly break out of her control. she has the first believe she’s superior to you and then prove it, or as I said, mentioned in the comment before this in chapter 70 she never actually faced Quanxi she just surrendered leading to her control it’s possible that Quanxi couldn’t have fought makima but it would’ve likely been impossible for her to protect her girlfriends in the process which she cares more about than winning against Makima, in chapter 90 to 91 We see that people can actually resist makima’s control even when they have a inferiority complex relative to her, and example is with power when she declares “I am the first president Makima is trash. makima is nobody.” And she’s able to actually fight her even when she tells her to hand Denji through her love for Denji and extreme determination to keep fighting through the pain she’s able to resist control.
In a fight against Sukuna or Gojo, there’s no way she would be able to maintain control over either of those two because I don’t demonstrate any hint of a inferiority complex, in fact I would argue it would be harder or impossible because they see themselves as flawless power herself in her last moments complete defied makima it’s possible she was only able to control presumably, a fire, for a brief moment and altered a minor aspect it’s brain to make things taste like crap rather than being able to completely control it, because if she would, she would’ve stopped it immediately
Please understand CSM is my favorite story narratively in the over 60+ anime/stories I’ve experienced in the past few teams I take pride in going through this series with a fine tooth comb makima’s power does infact have conditions and rules and it is unlikely it would ever work on Gojo or Sukuna even though she would feel superior and seeGojo as an Egotistical annoying older young man and Sukuna as just above an animal she would never actually be able to control them.
Sukuna the type of person to find out that if he kills her some random person would die so he’d proceed to kill her till everyone in Tokyo dies then he’ll make her make a contract with all other world leaders so he can keep killing her

tbh, its hard to fully scale Sakuna. Not much is know about him, we still dont know what his fire ability was and how he used it, or if he can use other abilities like that, and just using his fire arrow, he is able to destroy and deal so much damage to strong enemies, even killing jogo a fucking volcano cruse by burning him. If sakuna was put in the position of fight a devil like the darkness devil i dont see why he would hold back, and possibly use something completely new that he has in store. Plus with his ability to improve and use different techniques to overcome a problem, and possibly use mahoraga or a Shikigami that now has his power as he died, i could see sakuna beating every one in chainsaw man.

with Makima controlling Sukuna, there's a decent chance he can resist her, since something similar was demonstrated in some of the latest CSM chapters with Barem resisting Nayuta, the only cases against this i see is that Barem is still contracted with Makima, or that Nayuta is too inexperienced to control somebody with sufficient willpower
It seems Barem is a special case, either he has some kind of resistance due to Makima or he just scared Nayuta so she couldn't control him, and the later is far more likely, and Sukuna doesn't fit any of the two scenarios against Makima.

I don't think Makima's control ability would work on Sukuna for the sole fact that it's all based on Makima's perception of people being inferior to her. This is never fully explained what Makima qualities she deems as inferior, but we can probably infer some things from the people she doesn't control, mainly Denji/Chainsaw Man. She seems to respect Chainsaw Man due to his unparrelled strength as a Devil, mainly due to the fact that he has the ability to erase Devils from existence by eating them, but the overall strength is likely still a strong factor. Makima would likely immediately perceive Sukuna as strong, not just because of how much faster and stronger he would be, but also due to the fact that he has this unmatched arrogance about him that screams: "I'm better than you." Plus, it would be a really boring fight if it was just "Makima controls GG"

JJK requires some very charitable interpretations to get to FTL and above continental.
The lightning dodge doesn’t scale him to lightning speed, I can dodge a ball goin 100mps that doesn’t make my speed 100mps.
If Sukuna was FTL then Yuji hitting him would make multiple other characters FTL who we know aren’t, it would rip apart JJK scaling completely.

EM waves only move at light speed in a vacuum, and from what I can tell it’s generally community consensus that he was aim dodging them. Sukuna being Mach 3 is the biggest injustice to his scaling I’ve seen lol. Gege him self has admitted that The Mach 3 Naoya statement was very silly so that is retconned. Maki shrugged off lightning from Nue, and Hakari who is roughly relative to her also reacted to point blank lightning from Kashimo. This gives Maki and anybody who is relative to her consistent Lightning timer reaction and combat speeds.
These feats are also consistent with pre-awakened Maki catching a close-range bullet all the way back in season 1.
And since Toji and Maki are physically equal in stats we can use that to scale Maki. Dagon said that Naobito was faster than Jogo. Jogo who is considered by Kenjaku to be worth 7 fingers of power, and 8 fingers if he’s being generous, then that puts Naobito’s speed above that of Jogo who is a glass cannon and the fastest disaster curse. So Naobito’s speed is possibly worth 8 fingers. Toji was said to have been powerful to the point that the Zenin clan only still existed by his whim, and that he could kill them all if he wanted to. This is backed up immensely by Newly awakened Maki mid-diffing the Zenin clan, and that is before she fully awakened and adapted to her new stat boost. Maki just a few days later speed blitzed and perception blitzed vengeful spirit Naoya, who is much much faster than human Naoya, who had the same CT as Naobito who was faster than Jogo. So Maki and Toji are worth anywhere from 10-14, I would put them at roughly 12 or so though.
Of course, I don’t really know all the ins and outs of JJK feats and speed scaling lol but just with the feats I know of, Maki is already easily a lightning timer. It’s possible that they scale higher than that though. Feats that could scale them higher and also support FTL+ Sukuna and Gojo scaling would be Kenjaku’s feat of escaping the pull of a black hole from within very near range from the event horizon. And since Kenjaku is speed blitzed by Yuta after Kenjaku had already sense his presence, this puts Yuta above his speed scaling.
I don’t know enough to be sure but you might be able to scale Toji and Maki to sub relativistic or sub relativistic+, and Kenjaku is sub-relativistic+ or Relativistic, and Yuta is relativistic or Relativistic+, and Sukuna and Gojo to FTL+ since not only do they massively outscale everybody else in JJK, Sukuna while heavily weakened and in Megumi’s body dodged EM waves which is a SOL or FTL feat, so Sukuna and Gojo are FTL+.
I really wanted to mention Quanxi but the video was getting to long, it's more of supportive evidence for Makima to scale above the gun devil

The fire arrow erases the target down to their very bone marrow in a instant, just the activation of the arrow was incinerating and melting everything in range before release, and in the anime mahoraga without even being hit by the arrow he was already dying. Sukuna’s stats is also so overwhelming, makima would just keep getting blizted and one shot over and over again , sukuna will figure something out since he has at least twice the ce as yuta while efficiency rivaling the 6 eyes which uses ce to pretty much 0, also all those haxes I doubt would work since if so , why not just use it one primal fears or very high tier devils, and one of her wincon is if he’s inferior to her, but makima obviously won’t see sukuna as inferior. Makima knows when a fight is unwinnable as in her fight with pochita and darkness devil, if she doesn’t think she can win at all even with all the hax at her disposal, why would it work on sukuna? Another scenario is sukuna would just feed makima his finger, taking control since his soul is on a different level, taking over her body. Considering how the slash can be adapted to slice existence , the world , reality itself and sever infinite division, I don’t see why the wheel can’t adapt to the ability or the very contract.

Regarding Makima I, really do believe her contracts can actually put in some work. Take for example the curse devil or mold devil. Can she simply rot sukunas insides faster than sukuna can use RCT? I am also a firm believer that Makima could crush Sukuna if it is a contracted power.

Gojo and sukuna’s rct operate in 0.0001 seconds, I don’t really see how rot can do much , as sukuna can operate perfectly fine without organs like a heart, we also know things like poison are harder to heal with rct but it won’t be a problem for Sukuna, since he’s immune to all sorts of poisons, so rot poisoning most likely won’t work on sukuna

The crushing power very likely has a very hard limit since if so, she could just had used it on high tier devils which she think she can’t beat, and I doubt makima would see sukuna as inferior after seeing sensing or seeing his power, if makima sends sukuna to hell , it might possibly be the worse thing she can to do herself since gege stated in the fanbook Sukuna gets stronger by eating people and objects, so what If just kept eating devils in hell , and it would give time for sukuna to figure out how the devil system work. Killing all humans in Japan is actually relatively easy for a special grade, so if sukuna finds out her ability he can just kill everyone in the country. I am a firm believer he can sever the the contract, since it’s the very concept of severing so with mahoraga I think he can.

If you consider sukkuna a citizen of Japan of the same Japan as makima then she should have cursed energy and her power would classify as a cursed technique and inside a domain her CT is neutralized and that would neutralize her contract and kill her instantly

The reading comprehension devil strikes again, no that’s not how Domains work, Domain’s neutralise their users cursed techniques after their usage for one minute as they’re extensions of their technique. Domains do not nullify others cursed techniques and the only reason Sukuna’s domain is able to bypass Infinity is because it is a sure-hit and bypasses the barrier, this is backed up by Jogo saying his domain would bypass Infinity, it does not at all disable the technique

Mahoraga and Gojo are definitely weaker than Sukuna, that's what I meant. Sukuna go blown back by red and nearly blow up his Domain. And in the new anime ep Mah blows back Sukuna a few times with air blasts :)

A couple points
1. If Makima destroys Sukuna's brain or his stomach two places where curse energy needs to thrive and operate efficiently he's done flat out.
2. Gojo is not weaker than him by any measures so please do not rely on the borrowed efforts of a teenager's body/technique and soul to suggest Sukuna is stronger. If anything they're more equal than they are a step above one another.
3. The anime adaptation of Mahoraga v Sukuna and the manga version are completely different but come to the same results. The anime adaptation leaves out all of sukkahs in her monologues Mahoraga's adaptation and speculation with the exception of Yamoto No Orochi comments. Mahoraga barely flinched from the first slash Sukuna throughout and immediately started to deflect them. Sukuna knew he had to end they're fight before he could adapt further which is you see employ the fire arrow just barely beating his healing process. The peak of his Jujutsu wasn't enough to take down Mahoraga that alone is a testament to how strong & durable he is.
4. Even with prior info on Gojo's abilities he barely scraped by with defeating with now even his own power. It's a power he can't even use without chants because it's just that hard to do on his own with a refreshed body. He used domain amplification to reduce damage done by Red to make the healing less costly on himself while he waited for Mahoraga to adapt and even then it was still doing real damage to which is why he was caught in infinite void to begin with. You can say he defeated Gojo but what you can't say is they he's stronger than him with even layed out in those panels. He wouldn't constantly reference others strength to Gojo's if he didn't at bare minimum see him as someone on his level.

Hey, the whole weird thing about denji eating makima is coz the chainsaw devil AKA pochita has the power to erase any devil he eats from existence (done with the nazi devil, nuclear weapons devil, etc...) so sukuna wouldnt be able to eat makima. Great scalings and great video
