I'm 62 yrs old and I've seen a LOT of concerts going back to the late 60's but Elton John is the ONLY one I've seen several times and would still pay to see again since he is my all time favorite performer, and when I compare this concert encore performance with the studio version of years ago I'd have to say he's not getting older, just getting BETTER!

Even though I grew into heavy metal I still loved Elton the same bought his CD every year for years well at first 45's lol. The goodbye yellow brick road. I was 10 after that I think he had at least 1 hit every ur til I had children of my own His music made me smile when I was crying. In a class of his own. I've never seen anyone in concert like him. I've seen just about anyone u can name even the king Elvis but Elton is even magical.

I absolutely adore your thinking! It really started with Ryan White. An American young teenager who contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion. I live in the southern US. It’s still heartbreaking how that child was treated along with his family. Elton bought them a house, someplace else and held Ryan as he passed.

I keep coming back to this song whenever I need a reminder of how beautiful the work of a musical genius is. I may not have seen Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven and other geniuses who have already left and left us their works, but I can say that I had the privilege of seeing and hearing Elton John, one of the geniuses and certainly an immortal that the human race produced.
