Wow this studio background is amazing, I suppose it's an illusion of depth / edited effect / greenscreen, but looks incredible.
It is super light weight and portable compared to other gaming laptops. I love it!
I feel like they should make another version with a i9 11th gen and remove the gtx 1650 so u can get a m.2 2280 storage.

What i love about Lew and Unbox Therapy is that they don't insult the viewer's ability of comprehension. And they inform the viewer in multiple dimensions at any moment of the video. One second of any Unbox Therapy video equals to 3 minutes of other unboxing channels lol. Have a good one.
I am very intrigued by this!!! This could also be used for content creation as well.. IF the screen is very color accurate! The no throttle eGPU is the most mind blowing part!
My next computer upgrade will probably be getting something like this. I love the idea of being able to unhook the laptop from all the desktop peripherals with just one cable and take it wherever I want to

Make that proprietary connection a Thunderbolt connection, and this is my dream setup. I would probably still buy it even with the proprietary connection though...love the 16:10, 2 in 1 setup, AMD powered, egpu compatible, non gamer chassis that's clean, light, and high quality...it's everything I wanted from an AMD machine in 2020.

The only way. Could see this being improved is having a hard drive in with the eGPU to bolster that 512 or 1tb SSD and give it something extra for your games when your around the Dock 🤷♂️

I've been saving up for some time now and CES is making my mouth water. Choices, choices, choices, whelp, gotta wait for performance and thermal reviews.
This is a very interesting concept! especially the slick eGPU. Asus always surprise me with their innovation. Last year is Zenbook Pro Duo/Zephyrus Duo.
Pros: all of them
Cons: you have to spend lots of money on it cause it is so freaking awesome you couldn't live without it

The connecter really reminds me of the galaxy s5 charger. It not only has a micro port within it's proprietary port, but it's able to charger at a faster speed.
Incredible concept and idea executed very well by ASUS. Great video UT. Lew, maybe also talk about basic technical aspects with these laptop videos. Like performance differences with respect to GPU/eGPU models. That is the one thing that seems lacking in the laptop videos (at times). I know there is an embargo so you can't show numbers or benchmarks etc. But I mean you can mention the fact that along with this Ryzen CPU there is this xyz GPU that the laptop has inbuilt. Which can be further maxed out when connected with a full RTX 3080 inside this new slim eGPU. So the viewer gets a better perspective of the difference in horsepower they can get. No criticism here. Just think these things are lacking in your videos and mentioning them will set your videos to be just as informative as Dave's or MKBH's and some of LTT's side channels with specifications. No need to go in too in depth knowing your style. Just some aspects.
