A year has flown by and it's time for this year's wish for Peace. Last year it was the Starry Night Dove, this year we have the foil Peace disc with a dangle. This is a simpler tutorial, I hope you like it.

Some nail foils require putting down glue and peeling off the strip after the glue is dry. The wider rolls are for paper crafting. You need to use a special metal plate that gets hot enough to melt the glue thats in the foil. Then you put it all through a press before it will attach to your paper project. After stamping your clay for texture, I have placed foil on top and sent both through my pasta machine to insure all raised areas pick-up the foiling.
You know, Holly, many of them will transfer onto raw clay without heat. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly which ones! 😊❤️🧑🎄☮️🎉🎄🎁

Try using weld bond glue on the clay and transferring the hard to transfer ones. It worked on some I had

Hey Donna, these are gorgeous ornaments and they sing your style too! One thing though: There is repeat footage again. Check at 52:53 to 54:40, it repeats the start of the video. I think what is happening is, if you are using iMovie, you could be dragging your mouse too far to the right on your timeline, and that's why it's repeating, this is supposed to be a feature not a bug. Or in your filming intro and outro together you did not cut the intro when you appended the outro. I hope this makes sense. It might be worthwhile to watch the video before uploading it so you can catch that if it happens. Still it's all good stuff. I'm here for the clay, not the video production! ❤

You know, I've been trying many of them, I've ordered many from Temu and my recommendation would be to search Nail Foils and buy some cheap ones. There are so many and not all of them work but they're pretty cheap. Now, one of my students said Michaels has their own brand, I think it's Recollections or something like that. It would probably be in the clay area but this stuff is used for other things, too. I'[m sorry I'm not more help on this, I order mine from Temu! Cheers, d

Please Donna what is a "fat daddy o" and where can i get one... I've been using old lightbulbs as forms for years but i have to start with a cold oven and then a long cool down so they don't break
Okay, Fat Daddio is a brand of baking pans, cutters, etc. Is there an ikea nearby? They have nearly round metal bowl and they’re much cheaper. Many sizes, too! Happy New Year! Hugs, D
I love your videos! I do have a question, tho. I don't understand the addition of texture for the back. I thought that maybe the texture side was going to be placed against the cured piece to help it adhere, but it was placed facing outward. I'm sure there's a reason, but i have no clue! Thank you so much for sharing!
The texture leaves a neater back and will help disguise air bubbles.
