  • In the past year the Analogue Pocket has been out, the system has developed a community of OpenFPGA development, including a core for the Super Game Boy. But did you know there's a way to install the Super Game Boy 2 as well? Check out this tutorial to find out how.

I did this also, FYI the Special Boarder you show for Tetris DX when booting the SGB2 is actually the standard one, it should be a RED BRICK WALL with TETRIS DX name in Graffiti style on it

Very neat tutorial. I have not yet received an Analouge Pocket, but I'm interested. Watching this tutorial makes me want to own an Analouge Pocket.

Hello! Thanks for the tutorial. You seem to be the only one talking about this or at least doing a tutorial. Kudos to you! I appreciate your time. That said, I was unsuccessful in getting it to run. Right about the 8:20 mark it gets a little confusing. It asks to copy then delete the original sgb_snes.smc file then paste it to the SGB2 file? Please advise if possible. I am tech savvy and have no issues with things like this so I must be missing something. I have tried both SGB2 bios.bin and SGB2.SFC/SMC file extension types with no luck. Just a blank screen. Original SGB works well.
I have the most recent updated cores and pocket updates as of 12/27/23. Is it possible something is different with the new updates that prevents this? Is possible to make an update version of this video with updated instructions? That would be killer. A comment reply would also be helpful. Thanks again for your time and tutorial. I look forward to your response. Cheers!

You need to go more step-by-step. You pointed out in the github it says you need those files and where to put them, but you didn't mention where to get them, or at least what they are like in the SGB2 section. You said just move the files "and from there you should have the super gameboy running on the analogue pocket." Well mine just makes a clicking noise and doesn't run anything. Also I had to figure out to go to openfpga because I never did any of this before. Neither this, nor the pocketupdater instrrructions you gave produce success. I'm pretty sure I know what you are assuming we could figure out, but this is a how to video. It should show us HOW TO do it.
