That's an awesome piece of equipment great job on the design
i want to have that for my garden
amazing
It's also a vehicle for caning hoards of zombies into hamburger when the zombie apocalypse outbreak happens.
When will it happen? Maybe we all die of old age then it will happen.
The best vehicle for clearing zombie hordes would be the M163 VADS adapted for ground fire. A 20mm minigun and the ability to run over zombies when the gun is inoperative would make for a one-sided engagement
class 4 ?
the trailblazer can only clear flat land what if there are slopes then i think it wont work anymore
Depends on the slope. Should still work. You just run the risk of dislodging the mine underneath the vehicle. A smarter design would have the flail rotating away from the vehicle.
Here we call it Bozena. It is maller, operated by remote, cheaper to produce and it was first manufactured in Slovakia and will do the same job. The new model it's call Bozena 5. This is to big for mine clearance. It's waste of resources but on the another side it's quick on the road.
This was designed to clear mines under fire, the Bozena is for peace time demining so it doesn't need to be that heavily armoured.
This isn't new technology. Mineflails were a 1930's invention and have largely been demised, as it's not actually a very good method of clearing mines, especially anti tank mines, which, by and large ruin them. That is a neat bit of kit though. I want one for the zombie apocalypse.
still think miclic's are a cooler way to clear a mine field.
这些技术在12年我已经见过了就在装甲部队总部。
Base on amx13
the method this "car" is using is old; already by the 1940s the americans made one but as an attachment for their old sherman tanks and they also had metal detectors but as time went mines became to be made of plastic
those were known as "flail tanks"
Very fascinating - but it is only for streets or field paths. If there is a riverbank or bushes - NO chance !! In a uncontrolled detonation in near of Tuzla / Bosnia 3 deminers were killed. What will you do when mines are buried among trees or between houses ? If you want to answer look for BaggergegenMinen - May I can give a little help. Best Regards
You go between the trees and the houses. It’s not like you can fit an armored column in a footpath anyways. If the mine is somewhere this can’t go to, it’s somewhere vehicles can’t roll through anyways.
Why not remote controlled?
Why does it have to be?
@@dylanloo9856 I assume it's not a pleasant experience driving a vehicle that keeps getting the shocks from the explosions of the mines. Plus, if something goes wrong and the whole vehicle explodes, I wouldn't like to be driving it. Would you?
@@fiorini_mochachino I ain't no engineer, but I'm pretty sure they've done the research to make sure it's super safe to operate.
@@dylanloo9856 I ain't no engineer, but I'd feel a lot safer if I were a mile away from that machine with a remote in my hand and staring at a screen. On the downside, I'd miss all the adrenaline.... 😀
give it to laos...
Bull-Tec _bombay
Lady who come out the mine sweeper is pretty😍
Sadly, a division asset, not easily accessed by any battalion commander.
This unit will never overcome IEDs and the major roadside bombs esp those expediently improvised by the Taliban. Poyan training area is an "ideal battle simulator " where everyone knows the terrain and mines are assumed to be buried at a certain depth.
oh God SG eng
Singapore got mine meh?
Any army needs to be well prepared for any situation wat. Liddat might as well say "Singapore got war meh?", then the SAF wouldn't even exist. Even if not for use in Singapore, it's good for overseas exercises too.
