I just wanted to Thank You for this video, I already fixed several of my blinds and it worked well, I even live in Texas (Dallas) with the summer sun setting in the west directly on my blinds in 100 degree heat, and it still held up good!🟪
Can’t wait to try this. No little kids my Adult son keeps breaking the blinds constantly going in and out the patio door lol This looks like the easiest method so far thank you.
Thank you very much for this, I've broken 3 lately. I will use your method! I never understood why that part isn't reinforced so they don't break off so easily.
thank you for this tutorial. every housing place in my college town has these blinds, and I somehow turnout to be the God of destruction of these blinds. this is a great repair trick!
I like this idea, really avoids any future breaks. However, the look is not very pleasing to the eye. - I super glued a bread clip, placing the bread clip hole over the vertical blind's hole to reinforce. - Use a binder clip to hold the pieces together 10-15min to let the super glue dry. - Cut the excess plastic off of the bread clip so that it's flush with the top of the blind. - Install the blind and you're done! Looks best if you have white blinds and use a white bread clip.
I tried fixing mine using tape only lol.. im gonna use the paper clip, never would've thought of it. TFS
I always knew there was a way to fix these but never tried. How simple!!! Thanks for the tips.
Happy to help!
Thank you so much, these blinds are not cheap... my daughter steps on them and here I am...
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much, amazing work, works even better than the original against high winds! Bless You Brother!
Great to hear!
Very thoughtful. Thanks for sharing
Thank You for Sharing this. My blind has been broken for months and I’m soooo happy to have it fixed now Quick and Easy!!
Glad it helped!
Easy to do! I don't have the excuse of children; I did this myself by accident. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the tutorial. If you put the paper clip at the backside of the blind then it will not be visible & will look better.
Thanks for the tip! It's a Good idea
Thank you ❤
