      I am a child from the 90s and I grew up watching the reruns on cartoon network and on VHS tapes. When I got older, I decided I was "Too Cool!" for Flintstones and watched other shows. I now have the complete Original Season on DVD and I have been watching them and loving it more than when I was a little kid. You have good taste in shows :)

      I love "the Flintstones", I also grew up in the 60's, I enjoy the show in both, English and Spanish. I love that they had my favorite celebrities doing cameos. Ann Margaret, Tony Curtis, Elizabeth Montgomery. Great drawings. I wish they would still make cartoons for kids again, good, wholesome, traditional family oriented instead of the junk that is made these days.

    My generation! We had the Flintstones-and the Addams Family and the Munsters. So many good shows. Shows we could watch as family-with no embarrassment. Even shows like the Brady Bunch-it was just the best time for television.

    We had a red and white 1956 Chevy station wagon. I just learned a few years ago the the surfer boys loved that car b/c they could fit their surf boards inside. That impressed me more than the original car. I had just turned 16 and gotten my license. We drove from TN to AK to visit our grandmother. This was in the days of full service at the service stations. We had put some hot dogs in aluminum foil and had them heating up on the motor. I was driving when we pulled into the station. The guy asked what he could do for us. I asked him if he would check under the hood to see if the hotdogs were done and handed him a spatula. The look on his face was priceless! We didn't surf but we had a great time with that car.

    This is freaking awesome !! Remember watching this when i was only 5 when the Flintstones were on ABC every afternoon at 12pm here in my hometown in Canada..
    I can now appreciate this tune even more now as a professional musician, observing the Beach Boys influence from the group who actually sang this tune, The Fantastic Baggys ..Great harmonies, with that distinct "surf vibe" which saturated the airwaves from the early to late 60's and had a whole slew of "surf bands" follow suit.. Dig what i'm sayin' Daddy--O ??

      @jimwerkheiser2612 Před 8 lety +5

      From left to right, the guitarists must be Brian Wilstone, Al Shaledine and Carl Wilstone. No way that could be Mike (Lava). 1) He wasn't seen playing guitar at this point in his career and 2) he was already thinning out in the hair dept. by his early 20's. Another indicator giving the edge to Carl is that the guy on the right is a bit heavier than the other two.
