gotta love those generous customers! i had a customer tonight who ordered from a restaurant down the street from his hotel, like 3-4 blocks, came down to the parking lot to meet me, handed me $20 cash AND tipped $18.58 in app. People who show their appreciation of our service to them really make a shift.
also, i dont order for delivery. I take money from these companies, not give it to them.

As I live in the Surrey countryside the only delivery app that I can use is just eat. It only has one restaurant available and you always have to order an hour beforehand as it’s that far away

Living in a small town in Germany we don’t have a delivery app in general. Most of the restaurants deliver their stuff by their own drivers.

Yeah, it's crazy how many people think it's OK to blast music in ear buds and also not look around before they enter an intersection or bike lane. Like, you live in a city. You need to share the space with other people. (City planners also need to do a better job of making sure there are different textures to cue pedestrians in to more dangerous areas and such, but still.)
I like people like you who don't just do nothing and get money from the government but who earn it instead

Where I live, not much delivery services and for 3 years now, all the restaurants close a 7 pm unreal.. so cannot order, faster just to go a pick up... 😲love that desk , seen it many times and thinking of it often and first time seeing you without the helmet.. ''now how do I get down?"' lol... 😳the guy had a bottle with him and laughing gas. oh crikey.. was it a dentist on holiday.. just saying.. lol. Very nice video and great work you do.. Ace!

Used to do "dispatch" in the big smoke, in the 80's. What capped me most was how filthy ya get. The gaff i was living in did'nt have a shower, so it was a bath every night. Loved the long runs down (overnight ) to the south west coast, Devon/Cornwall etc. Money was shite, but loved the trips out on a "summers day". More happy memories than bad.

They actually don't do any of them out where I live. Small rural town so... nearest place that would is ~1hr away. No one would deliver that far and if they did it would be cold by the time it got here and very expensive for the delivery fees LOL

food hub. I live in the stick and most deliverys wont deliver to our part of the town. when were in london with my son we just book by food type and price and dont favour one company over another
I actually don't ever order in food. I will order groceries once in awhile from my local grocery store, and they will deliver it. However, I tend to only do that when I can't go out and shop.

I've never eaten a takeaway, let alone had one delivered. I find it pretty amazing that people pay you so much money, when they could save it by walking to the shop themselves. How the other half live, I guess.
It's not really a lot, Mostly around 3 pound a delivery. Some people have busy lifestyles and find it easier or people scared to go out late a night. Some people are just lazy though.
