Sarah, your bathroom is exquisite. Every detail is perfect and your instincts pay off, I love the accent wall and the shiplap boards you originally put up wouldn't have looked nearly as nice as the textured walls you did, that was a great call on taking them down, and at first I really liked them! I have to say, I'm sooo proud of your daughter, Vivian, for sewing the shower curtains, she did an AMAZING job on them.❤ I've been sewing since I was 12, self taught on patterns mind you, and I sewed so many of my and my daughter's dresses, not to mention curtains, chair covers (the piping) pillows, etc. I hope you tell Vivian what a wonderful job she did and she should be so proud. It's heart warming how your daughters/sisters/husband, all contribute to your home and I love seeing how involved your daughters are in your thrifting and decorating. Your bathroom is truly lovely, thank you for sharing.

Sarah, can't tell you how much I loved this video; especially the part of your precious daughter doing the sewing. Brought back memories of 50+ yrs. Ago when my sweet mother "made" me learn to sew, even though it made me s sssooo mad! Because of her persistence & love (& a belt), I am happy to say that I am the ONLY person I know around here now that can make anything, mend, quilt, etc. Wish I could tell Mama today how much that lesson has meant to me thru the years. You are an inspiration and blessing to this country girl in Alabama who loves thrifting and bargain hunting as much as you! Thank you for sharing your life. I feel like we are such good friends!
