It should be a sin singing Ne Me Quitte Pas in English. This song is not a vocal performance in the dynamic sense. It’s a vocal performance in emotion and restraint. She’s an amazing singer, but I don’t think she did the song justice. I didn’t feel the emotion.
I get your point. But you can try to see it from another perspective. Maybe the language barrier would have limited her, so she chose to sing it in English to give her all!
