That is her song from Chemistry album.

The story behind the song is quite interesting all round. It was Barbra's son Jason (who was a Donna fan), who convinced his mother to do the duet. The lyrics of the song had to be changed to include "water", which was a theme behind the album Barbra was currently working on. Donna had just finished a record breaking 8 sold out nights at LA's Universal Amphitheater and had the after party. The next day she was scheduled to record the song with Barbra. There is amusing story Donna tells about the recording (record in Aug 79) here on CZcams (the Rosie O'Donnell Show). Conversely the song, which was put on Donna's first Greatest Hits package with On The Radio, was not supposed to be released until Dim All the Lights had peaked on the charts. It was released a month early and caused friction with Donna and Neil Bogart, 2 months later Donna filed suit with Casablanca Records. The rest is history...

Mid part with the bongo as you called Donna was hitting the higher notes and the both held them long notes together except the 1st one.
