There’s just something about Steven Universe. It made me think about so many things, and I kind of people would stop judging the series because “The main character is fat,” or because “Eww they’re all gay”. It showed me that it’s okay to be who I am, even when I’m being a foolish, pathetic failure. Rebecca Sugar taught me to be happy even in some of the worst times, and without the series I never would have grown to be who I am. Because of Steven Universe, I’m making new friends out of old enemies. I’m taking Spanish 1 and guitar classes now, and they’re going great! I’m still hurting a lot, and I’m far from cured, but I’m happy to say that Steven Universe has helped me through a lot.
Same for me in fact adventure time helped me get through my childhood and Steven universe taught me how to be my own person even if it means being different. I hope that everyone gets better and I hope that Steven universe helps you get better like adventure time did for me (Idek if this makes sense) :)
@@kennedysimpson7597 I'm a fan of Adventure Time and Steven Universe since i was a kid, and i stopped watching the series because i guess i was "growing up" and i was getting more into PC Stuff, and learning how to do animations and etc, so my mom stopped using the TV Channel Router and gave it back to the store, some months ago i remembered of Steven Universe, i searched for it on CZcams, and i saw that there was going to be a movie, and that Steven was a teenager, and all of my childhood memories were coming back, i watched Season 5 because i didn't watch it before, and then the Movie came out, it was so good, and it got me so motivated, i'm not a bad guy or anything, but i got "Nicer", and this teenage thing of Steven is so interesting to me, because it shows how his innocense goes away by growing up, it shows him being more mature and finally being able to control his powers, and about Steven Universe Future, oh man, just like the original show and the movie, he is going to learn something new, that is going to help him grow, first he learned how to not be annoying and mature, in the movie he learned that there is no happily ever after, and in this new series, he is going to learn that he can't put the past behind him, because if it wasn't the past, he wouldn't be what he is now, you learn with your mistakes, Steven Universe helped me grow aswell, made me see things differently, it's the best show i've ever seen in my opinion, Rebecca Sugar and her team made a very good job with it!
I remember being really depressed in the 7th grade bc of bullying. My parents were too aggressive on the matter which prevented me from speaking up. I was also just too scared to ever make a scene or “blow things out of proportion”, so I also kept myself back. Then I found this damn show and it just lifted the veil of self love and the value of life- there is beauty and diversity that can be found in the fragility of life. I was really depressed but this show just gave me a new perspective on humanity and other living things-including my own. Now five years later I’m a junior in high school and feel like I’m in a much better place than I was five years ago. This show can teach you a lot about self love and acceptance, pain and trauma, life’s delicacy. Crying and being in touch with your emotions is ok. Treating others with kindness means nothing if you don’t love yourself first and foremost. Family can be complicated and no one is completely evil or completely good. SU is coming to an end but the lessons it’s imparted on its audience will continue to change lives for current and future audiences.. this show helped me grow and I’ll always be grateful for it💕 Edit: Ty for the comments guys. Does anyone else just really relate to pearl on a new level? For her just hits so differently. I think it just perfectly hits what I feel when I loose someone I love. She tries to keep it in for those around her, but she’s really hurting. It’s just something I think a lot of people understand the feeling of.

I'm kinda stressed that christmas day will be a bad day basically I live with my Mum, two siblings and my Grandad. We live with my Grandad because it's his home and we don't actually have a house. My Grandad always pesters my Mum about bringing her bf over and apparently her bf just ended it with her because of my Grandad. She wants to spend Christmas day at my Auntie's house because she doesn't want to be near my Grandad. My Auntie has 4 children, only one of which I like. The rest are really annoying and they're all boys too. Their house always stinks and is never clean, and they never have any food in the house, the house is always full of people and it's always loud. I basically hate it there. It's also like an hour away so we'll have to go there by taxi and I don't like taxis because they're super awkward. Normally if it was just christmas, I'd suck it up and be fine with it. Although, Christmas is my birthday, so I only get one celebration a year, and my birthday isn't even about me, it's always about everybody else. So I have one nice celebration where I get gifts, and I've been looking so forward to the 25th but it's going to be ruined by my Mum and her stupid grudge against my Grandad and she doesn't even realise that I'm really stressed about it I'm really stressed atm, but this is a calming song for me and it always helps me become calm. I know this was uploaded a while ago but I just hope you know that what you uploaded is helping a human being get through tough times, and if it's helping me, then it's definitely helping others too.

I know how you feel as my father cheated on my mother a couple years ago (they didn't file a divorce and their relationship is back on track) and I can barely look him in the eyes anymore, so it's always awkward to be around him. There's always family drama at my home because my older half-siblings' dad died many years ago, and they thought my mother prevented them from going to his funeral, when she honestly just didn't know where the funeral was or when it was. Since then they barely talk to her and me and now that she may or may not have a tumor, I doubt they're even going to bat an eye anymore. But even if there's a ton of stress and family drama sometimes, you can still make it through the hard times and stuff. As for your birthday being during Christmas, I am so sorry to hear about that. There was a Christmas calendar TV-show in my country (I'm half English half Danish) about a girl who's birthday was on Christmas Eve (In Denmark you celebrate Christmas the 24th instead of the 25th) but she learned to enjoy the virtues of having her birthday on Christmas because of magic hocus pocus. Only magic there exists is love, because damn is that feeling magical. Just remind yourself every now and again that your family loves you for who you are, and friends are lucky to have you n' stuff even if I barely know you. I listen to this all the time, it helps me study/do school work. Steven Universe actually helped me come out to my friends as bisexual and they opened and said they were LGBTQ+ too! Steven Universe also helped me to open up about my problems more instead of bottling them up. Without Steven Universe I probably would be cutting myself/dead... Steven Universe helped me realize my life has value and shaped me into the person I am today. Steven Universe, you will always have a place in our lives and if nobody else does this, I want to think of this again in a few years when everyone has moved on/forgot about it and watch it again. This show is incredibly amazing, in all the ways, in my personnal experience i've learned a lot of what i still value now a days, also the amazing experience that the crewniverse gives us to find puzzle pieces that a hidden all over the place and talking with other fans to figure out where they can fit. Not only i look a the show as one of the pillars that kept me standig but also as a friend, since whenever i had anexiety, insecurities or i was depressed i always ranned to shelter myself in the show, making me more confident and stronger, giving me some sort of encoregment to keep going. It also was the show that inspired me to start drawing and i've met a lot of close friends because of steven universe. And...steven universe helped me to actually talk to my parents about my problems with anexiety and insecurities, what im trying to say is...from the bottom of my heart...thank you rebecca and crewniverse! sorry if i wrote something wrong

Not only i look a the show as one of the pillars that kept me standig but also as a friend, since whenever i had anexiety, insecurities or i was depressed i always ranned to shelter myself in the show, making me more confident and stronger, giving me some sort of encoregment to keep going. It also was the show that inspired me to start drawing and i've met a lot of close friends because of steven universe. And...steven universe helped me to actually talk to my parents about my problems with anexiety and insecurities, what im trying to say is...from the bottom of my heart...thank you rebecca and crewniverse!
