But I think that model is nifty, and would pay doll hairs for access to the STL or a digital version of the mini.

I ordered a tabletop scale Big E for myself and a 75mm art scale (or fruity tabletop scale…) one for my brother - he actively plays a lot of Heresy/30K and a golden giant felt like a fitting centrepiece.
I had intended his Big E to be a birthday present for him back in December. When that was clearly not going to happen, we spray painted gold a “big uppercase letter E” from a craft store, glued a glittery gold crown at a jaunty angle and wrapped that up telling him it was a placeholder.
He was grateful knowing their was a present out their with his name on it; I was happy with the decent amount of openly given information about the status of the Big E work and order backlog and given our piles of grey shame/opportunity, we’re not likely to get around to actually working on them just yet anyway.
The package arrived a few weeks ago now; the care and amount of packing within the box was great, clearly well thought out to get from Australia to England safely. The quality and detail on the models is… marvellous… I can’t see _any_ layer lines from the printing, they’re gorgeous. I had sneakily included the Lightning Captain and two handed Chaotic Sword Marine as well, figured I like them and might as well make best use of the shipping.
My overall take on this experience… I’m trying to resist ordering the 5ish other Major Minis that really caught my eye and, seeing the quality and not being in a rush, I don’t care if they don’t arrive until another six months or so.
MajorKill, your openness and apologies are great and appreciated, but the products I received are fantastic. Keep up the good work.

I ordered the big e for my mates birthday a month after they release. didn’t come until abt a month ago. was definitely annoyed for a while but my friend was super excited when I finally gave it to him. super cool model and I respect the apology. definitely worth the wait. so excited for the future after this expansion!!

Not to put too fine a point on it, but were you a dick about it or were you just asking? As someone who is fully capable of both, typically starting with the latter before plunging into the former with a vengeance, the difference matters.
Unless you were a dick about it you've got nothing to feel bad about. You payed for a product and didn't receive it in a reasonable time frame, it's only natural to want to know why that was the case.
Meh if your waiting a long time for a product its totally fine to email your supplier.

This is actually pretty cool MK. The business forced a scale up, now it'll be even better! I'm very happy with my Big E, haven't painted it yet but it's assembled - gorgeous and worth the wait.

Hey Man, I got mine only last month. I knew it would take a long time when I ordered. I received regular updates on the progress and the reasons for the delays. Not once did I feel duped in any way. Once I received the mini I was just very happy with it's arrival and the quality of the product! It was worth the wait imo. I now have a rare, very well sculpted and printed in great quality mini of our overlord. I am pleased.
