So this mercedes C- Class came to us from another garage. They couldn't repair this engine so the owner brought the car to us. Car went in deep water in rain and had major engine damage. Engine had seized up and was not even rotating. So we had to take it out of the, disassemble it to check what's wrong or what had broken inside the engine. In this part - 1 of the repairing, we found the problem.

Why do people send it to you guys instead of claiming insurance btw ?
Not all insurance cover water damage
Even if they'll claim insurance then the estimate will make it go under total loss.. and the idv value of the car would be 5-6 lacs maximum... Let's say you'll get 5 lacs from insurance then will you be able to get another Mercedes for 5 lacs ? 🧐
@@nklkhanna Thanks for the quick response and providing the explanation. Yeah that's true in 5lacs we can't even get a wagonr , no way we could afford a Mercedes. I guess we can still go to Karol bagh people and buy "Doctor Driven" , "Non Accidental" , 2009 model only 10 kilometers done "not painted at all" for 5lacs 😂
