Don’t you think Arsenal already have enough players that are like Maddison and could to do with a more Athletic midfielder that’s very good off the ball to help with the defensive issues. Arsenals attack isn’t the issue, it’s that they get overrun in midfield and are very susceptible to counter attacks.

If you did, you'll understand that frenkie de jong plays with busquets as a partner at the base of the midfield with gavi and pedri on the left and right respectively , forming a square in the midfield. The team needs a new partner for FDJ because busquets is retiring at the end of the season, not because they want to sell FDJ. Yes they're financial issues and player sales are inevitable, however FDJ is not one of the players for consideration to be sold. Please make comments on teams you watch extensively. I have always rated Mount as a solid player. Chelsea just goofed up because they wanted to buy 20 players. Mount was actually up there as one of the best young talents with Saka. He had a solid season in 2021/22 with 11 goals and 10 assists. Similar stats to James Maddison that season.

Are we going to say all of those players are crap? No, I’d argue that expectations and structure is missing. Mount is a young player and needs time to develop and he needs structure and consistent playing time. I think the only truth in these reports is that Mount definitely wants to leave Chelsea - news which they have flourished with an MUFC flavoured icing, because why not.
I don't believe ETH wants Mount, and even if you can prove that he does, I don't believe he will prioritise him over CF and ST.
And even if you can prove that he does, Liverpool are much better positioned to complete this deal before Utd - as they have proven they are able to do.

Mount would be perfect for Liverpool because he's the mould that Klopp likes, he's a workhorse and that's the number one reason why managers like him, because he'll never let you down with his work ethic, however, if you're looking for a midfielder to take you to the next level then Mount isn't that guy, he's MID!
That’s what we are lacking in midfield, we need a Fred type midfielder that’s much better on the ball. That’s our current dilemma in midfield Eriksen good on the ball but has no legs or athleticism and Fred extremely unreliable on the ball but can has excellent work-rate if we get both of those in one player which is what mount is we would be much better off. I like the idea honestly.
Also because Liverpool doesn’t have any stat padders in midfield, so they can get away with playing mount in midfield as he will have two defensive minded midfielders next to him

I rate mount but imo not for me. He’s fell of a cliff since their winning run in that ucl run last season. And I know he’s technically really good and is versatile by playing CAM/LW but has barely played this season for Chelsea and for me can still play for a top 6 team but would be an underwhelming signing for us if we get him.

Mason mount is good player he’s young enough to still be developed and ten Haag is a great coach that can get the best out of him. Mason mount has shown he is good on the ball and very good at pressing has legs and lungs and he’s creative enough to be able to contribute. has the work ethic and listens to instruction to help the team overall. Mason mount as a 10 I don’t think is the goal but as an 8 he’s a great option , we want a midfielder that can do the work in midfield not a flair player. I would get Maddison if I wanted to replace Bruno but I don’t think that’s the plan , and we have diallo who I think should be looked at as an backup to Bruno as well as the wing next season so if you think about it logically Mount is a better decision than Maddison for United’s current situation even though I agree Maddison is the better player. Mason mount gets too much flak because of how bad Chelsea as a whole have been bad.

If he was that good, Todd would pay his salary. Todd B is clearly very thirsty for talented players. He's acquired a few and is letting go of ones he doesn't value. Maddison is not the profile of player we’re looking for. It’s obvious we need midfielders that are good on the ball, but also athleticism to carry the ball, workrate to press and defend. Because of the priority for a striker the budget is a big factor to be considered. That’s why players like Mount and Rabiot are great options make perfect sense because these players address our needs at the prices that allow us to spend more on a striker.
Mount and Rabiot don’t know how to dominate games it’s the wrong signings, ten hag should have signed CM like rice who can help our defensively

The signings he brought in last summer have all improved us so and every player on his Ajax team went up in value tremendously when they were sold so id say his talent ID has been really good. Don’t believe all the links just because you read it so far the only deal that looks done is Kim min Kae and he’s the best cb option available.
