Greenworks lawn mower not starting. Fixed!

Oour greenworks lawn mower won't start.
After some diagnosis, I narrowed it down to the cable, which would not pull enough to turn on the switch.
Unfortunately, there is no adjustment for the cable, so I added a spacer at the cable end Wa La! it starts now.

I was able to fix mine by just releasing the cable from the bar, giving it two twists and then reattaching it. I guess it depends on which cable has stretched.

I think the starter is where my mower is having the problem. The cable is actualy cutting into the green starting box everytime I pull the handle. I think I need to shorten my cable too.

You didn't show how you put the safety button "mousetrap that takes 3 hands" back together! That's the real trick. I hate that thing!
