At some point, I felt bad for Bong and Dan. They consistently gave their spark to the people they thought they connected with, and that's admirable. Well, anyway, as they say, they are truly worthy of love.
It saddens me to see the hate against Justin and Alex just because of their mistakes in the past.
I mean, isn’t that a bit unfair to judge people based on their past mistakes and not allow them to grow as human beings?
This is “Sparks Camp” and they joined the show to find their sparks.
And they found it.
So I hope people will stop throwing hate against Justin and Alex because we can see that these people are ready to grow and learn from their past mistakes.
I mean, who are we to judge them?

Nick-Karl really gave that kind of real chemistry and connection, while Justin-Alex really deserve that second chance and love story they long to wish for each other. On top of that, I really admired how Mother Mela brought each camper up in every episode. I love this reality show. I need to give shout out to Ms. Mela, sa lahat ng naging host ng mga dating shows, siya yung napakaencouraging ng ibinibigay sa participants, yung alam mong pinag-iisipan yung sasabihin hindi lang for the sake of bringing out emotions from them but really giving words they needed to hear.

I felt their emotions. I felt that it's about time to continue what they started. Bong was one of the best campers, he brought so much joy. I genuinely hope Alex made the right decision, he's in such a vulnerable place right now (God, watching him tear up every time he and Justin even talked about what happened because he was so hurt was so triggering). I've been there before, so many of us have been there before, where we hope that giving a second chance means we'll have a better outcome. I hope it works out, and even if it doesn't that Alex will be ok regardless.

I think most of us here were rooting for Bong and Alex, but I'm really glad and cried at the same time when both Justin and Alex confessed their mutual feelings. I admire Justin for his honesty and being apologetic after their incident which reminded of a discreet guy who ghosted me months ago. At least with this episode mas nakuha ko and understood ung POV nya na hindi pa talaga sya ready to go out and scared for me na madamay ako sa ongoing battle nya. I still wish him the best in life.

Thank you Black Sheep for bringing this show. I was hesitant to watch because I have this thought that this will be scripted just like some reality shows. But watching it from beginning 'til the end, my perception changed. I saw authenticity. I saw sincerity. I saw love and acceptance.
I'm glad to the campers who find their mutual spark. May it last. But I want to also to acknowledge the other campers. You are all worthy to be loved. (A big shoutout to all soft/effem homosexuals. We are valid.)
I'm single since birth. And searching for someone scares me a lot. I don't want to feel rejection. I'm terrified to get hurt. But this show boosted my confidence. It made me realize that the insecurities I had is somehow my strength I need to utilize.
I will try to explore and lurk around.. I am not closing doors and I am open to possibilities whether I will find my spark in the future or not. No matter what happens, I have no regrets.

I had a feeling na until the final spark Stanley hasn’t chosen yet who to give his spark to. Na parang he hasn’t had enough time to collab with anybody in the camp . I felt something from him like being unsure during that moment. But one thing is for sure, he won the hearts of his people in Benguet. I’m so proud of Stanley!
Unpopular opinion:
This was a very cute show to binge watch with my best friend over a series of weeks. HOWEVER, we seemed to have taken a rather "Unpopular" opinion on the whole Justin and Alex situation.
Albeit, various sparks flying in all directions, the couple that we really felt had a tangible spark was Bong and Alex. Essentially, they seemed to click in a way that was healthy and fun
On one hand, Bong was caring, funny and even willing to be real and connect with Alex on a deeper level. On the other hand, Justin seemed to be reserved and disconnected for reasons we come learn later.
Still, Alex's conversation with Justin didn't seem to indicate that they were looking to reconnect.
My take on Alex choosing Justin was essentially, him accepting the love that he thought he deserved. It's a struggle love filled with uncertainty, deceit and ultimately, mistrust. They started with pain and heavy hearts and are choosing to give this pain another shot. It's truly perplexing.
Therefore, I concluded that although it is admirable to chase what you once lost. I am struggling with seeing how they can fix this already damaged relationship. It is truly a case of people staying together due to trauma bonding and relying on their history to attempt to stay in a place where they feel "comfort".
I'd be interested in anyone responding or following up with whether they picked up on this.
Justin & Alex connected weeks prior in a night that we didn't get to see, but was special enough for Justin to bring it up multiple times throughout the show. The first time they made eye contact, Justin alluded to knowing Alex, which was elaborated on during the campfire; when everyone was supposed to bring in something special from the past, Justin brought his concert wristband from the night he met Alex. Why would he keep something so insignificant if Alex meant nothing to him?
Throughout the show, Bong prioritized flirting more than truly getting to know Alex. From the moment they saw each other, there was physical attraction, but neither of them pursued an emotional connection. Alex said that Bong made him feel included, while Justin made him feel understood. During the party episode, Bong attempted to goad Alex into a date while Justin let him sit there in silence - something that Alex cherishes. He's said time and time again that he doesn't like talking very much, which is exactly why Bong and him struggled to connect. All of their interactions were surface-level teasing matches, whereas Justin was already well acquainted with Alex and his needs. They had a 'one night stand without the sex'. That's a level of intimacy Bong just couldn't compete with, unfortunately.
I wish all three of them happiness wherever life goes. Bong deserves a mature partner who can take him on dates, show him off, and fully satisfy all those flamboyant urges in him. Alex has his growing to do and I think Justin is experienced enough to give him the guidance he craves. That's my take, feel free to add on or respond

Gabe was so genuine for his message. He has given only little time of exposure sa show but he's great. Karl is really a charismatic guy, he's such a good match that would build a good chemistry to every one of them. While for me unexpected for Nat not to have a sparks match bcos he's really the face of this show. He's such a baby boy. Lastly, si Dan pa rin talaga bias ko, he's soft and femme side are attractive. He has a good smile and a big heart. ❤

this was the sweetest most wholesome truly authentic dating show i think i've ever seen let alone being a gay dating show, it was so nice that no one was kicked off at any point, that everyone supported each other and i think respected each other. A really great show and a really amazing bunch of guys.
