Nice outcome. I find it interesting when people say you need to know F360 to get any design work done. I also use Tinkercad, it does 95% of what I need. Also when asked about the pest printer, it depends on the job, for small few filament changes the X1 with AMS is the solution, but for large many filament jobs the XL is best. Just a tool, pick the right one for the job

True. I am actually thinking of simplifying my types of printers a little because I'm really only using the XL and the X1Cs. Thanks!

That's great! From photo to 3d print. Only difference I see is that your design seems to have a sharper edge at the top, rather than a flattened edge as in the photo. But still great work.

Oh that's very nice of you! Tinkercad is a great program to learn on. I can do a little more in depth for you. I tried out a lot of different shapes and then recorded when I finally got it. Thanks!

That's great! I'm going to force myself to learn some CAD tools on weekends.
If you were to estimate how many hours it took you to design the sink from start to finish with tinkercad , what would they be? I sat in front of fusion for about 4 hrs on a weekend trying to make a picture frame, but i ultimately gave up. i learned about but i didn't succeed in my project 😂

Fortunately for you, there are tons of resources available to learn Fusion.
Keep practicing and you will get to a point where you can design that picture frame in a couple of minutes.

Tinkercad is pretty simple and that's why I like it. It probably took me about an hour. Mainly just trying to figure which shape to use for the swoop. I am intimidated by fancier programs. But I'm sure once you learn them, they're very efficient. Thanks!

No it should have one. And plumbing the drain to the wall too. Haha

Why not print sideways and save a ton of support material?
    Nice design nonetheless

I didn't want the rough surface from supports to be on the visible side. But I'm sure if I get better at supports, that would be a better route. Thanks!

@@tada3dprintingmakes sense. can do gradual infill steps as well to help reduce support needed.
