I went from a grade 1-3, to a grade 4-6 (would’ve gotten a 7 if romeo and juliet was out of 30, I got 21/34) grade 6 and for English language I got 40+ grade 5. You sir are a legend respect ✊
How did you revise to improve so much?
@@benboy9554 he didnt improve much, 6 is about average maybe below. If you want to do well in english lit, you need to learn the plays pretty well and generally practice writing essays.
@@ravjayakodi2746 a 6 is what I need to go to the sixth form I want so that is what I am aiming for, I doubt a 6 is below average when it is only 1 less than an A
@@benboy9554 we dont use the letter system anymore,
@@ravjayakodi2746 a 7 is equivalent to an A though

Did my English Literature practice exam today. Used this video for the paragraphs I wrote. Got a grade 6 overall with 25/30 on my Macbeth Essay
how is that only a 6
girl that’s a 8 minimum
trust me
@@dislikebutton8322 My exam board grades not on marks but on the content of the essay; if it does not include something (in this case detailed analysis in comparisons) they cannot go above a certain grade

Mr Everything English , Mashallah you are such an incredible teacher ; I've got my AQA exam test tommorow and you helped me a lot on how to plan . I'm looking forward to follow all of your future vids . thanks .

Thank you so much. This has helped me a lot
Finally thank you you don’t understand how long I’ve been waiting for this

Also Lang paper 2, could u make a top to bottom break down and example. Love ur explanations
the best teacher i ever seen in my life
THIS REALLY HELPED THANK YOU
Thank you so much, so helpful
Sir please make a video how to plan q5 paper 2 please?
Thank you sir
hello sir, is there any advice to make my essay flow more smoother and coherently?
Umm for the second paragraph I’m still not sure what u mean. I use the TEACOW layout to plan my paragraphs so should I do a paragraph on structure using teacow and then link the form and embed it into the paragraph?
ur too good
how are we supposed to implement context into the pretzel paragraph? do we just add it on to the end? or do we implement it into the explain effect parts?
hi sirrrrr, i;m a bit stuck on how to develp my creative writing idea, is there any way i can ask you for help?
hi this was soooooo helpful
Thanks
Your videos are still so helpful two years later, doing an essay for school! Thank you so much
When you are talking about a play, do you say ‘reader’ or ‘audience’ you put reader so I was just wondering…
Do you choose four different quoted for each paragraph
Great video. How many of these paragraphs do I have to write for an essay
he said 4
Can you do a video on the essay structure for poetry
how do you do embed 4 quotes ?
how do you refer to the writers intentions
So talking about form and structure is good and everything but how do you link to the actual question? Because saying its fast paced or slow paced or that its a play and everything is good but does it answer the question??
i just did this exact paper
Sir could you please make a video on how to answer Paper 2 Q5 , whether it’s a Letter or and article
@San lol I ’ve just checked and seen it now, thanks 😅

@@joyce5482 where is it?
[can someone tell me how i an improve this please]
In Act 1 Scene 5 Shakespeare presents Lady Macbeth pledging the weird sisters for hunger to thrive to help achieve Macbeth goal and to assassinate her inner nature to “unsex” her.
This is shown when she says, “Come, you spirits”
The use of euphemism is highly effective because it implores that she’s demanding the spirits to come fourth so she can bow before them to infer she is needy of their superficial power and to strike away femininity so she wouldn’t have to be able to the feeble and brittle woman she once was but murderous and heinous person in order to bring King Duncan down.
This links back to the Jacobeans time when women had no power whatsoever due to their social status the women will follow and look up towards the man who is more powerful and capable of providing more stuff than women due to their masculinity and accessibility.
When we zoom into the verb “come”
This highlights that she’s outlining how desperate she is to claim this enterprise, the prize that claims great power and respect for she is tired of living under a man who is “too full of the milk of human kindness” whereas she wants to take control of this and plant a fatal seed into Macbeth to help him grow that ambition for them to finally take action.
Therefore, this illustrates that her humanity is slowly dissolving due to the hunger for power and eventually blooming a tree where Macbeth ambition can finally overthrow his kindness
Damn your smart mashallah that was a really good disection of a story honestly well done 👍👍
(btw just a student lol)
clear structure and point and you definitely covered all parts of the peel, well done!
- try to bring in the genre, alternate interpretations and fully integrate yourself with Shakespeare's intentions - why do you think he chose this effect?
Your use of vocabulary is also excellent ( I peeped the heinous mentioned in a previous video)
however sometimes it sounds a little out of place , I would say vocab is obviously very important but trying to find a better way to say everything is not always feasible under timed conditions, write cohesively but don't stray away from the focus of the question.
Hope this helps at all! Also what year are you in?
Can people give me the best advise to do lanaguev paper 1 question 2
can i did the for CIE?
What can i add for context
Does this work for EDUQAS too
Plz do animal farm !
i love you
Sir what grade would that be you did on the board 🙂
he unlocked the secret grade 10
Literally finished all my exams
How hard was it. Im in y10 going to y11 so I kind of want to know what to prepare for
@@ap_dreezy3019 currently doing them, forget your normal life and prepare for the most stressful and miserable life that your known so far, you won’t be able to look past the exams since they consume your life so much. In summary, hell, doesn’t matter how much you care about them, hell
Probably a stupid question but when you go on to paragraph 2,3,4, do you keep the same point as paragraph 1, I know that your supposed to use a different quote for each paragraph but not sure if I'm supposed to use a different point for each paragraphs or keep the same point throughout the essay.
Keep same point
Please I will appreciate that please 🙂🙂
does aqa or edexcel matter?
Yes the exam structures are different
@@safafaridi7443 the mark schemes are different but you can still write a pretezel paragraph like he did regardless of the exam board
