I totally agree about having more luck if you are open minded. Because preferences are different than standards. You really can block yourself from so many potentially fun times by having petty standards. I saw that a lot with my friends growing up. In high school, I was so picky I didn’t date at all. It wasn’t until I was like 18, feeling like I’d missed out on things, that I realized if I was ever going to really enjoy someone’s company I had to be willing to try new things and keep an open mind. I’m really happy I did because I’ve had awesome experiences that I never would’ve shared with someone else otherwise. It’s good to go outside of your comfort zone sometimes. 😊
