Yes! Using the false folds similar to Kargyraa style throat singing is called “throat bass” in beatboxer terminology. Gene also used it a bit for brief moments but as much as much as John-T is here. There’s lots of fun extended vocal techniques that beatboxers use, I really suggest Stitch - Feels Like Nothing for a vocal coach to check out!
Yeah second to that! Stitch’s polyphonics are incredible and that wildcard really showcases it.

As someone who can do that bass (which is called throat bass in beatbox), the high bads note he ends on is so insanely hard to do.
