I’m not in the world of beatboxing, although I love and appreciate it highly. Having said that, he is an artist and he is painting a picture through song that moves you with the help of reverb. The talent is the same, the story and feeling is all that changes. On top of it all, he is truly humble as he states that his favorite beatboxer is Den and gives props to Improver as well as Den and others. That is class! Love this guy and in my opinion…top tier best!
This showed up in my 'feed' a couple of weeks ago and I was blown away as well. My memory of beatboxing was still stuck in the 90s, I guess. Had to do a deep dive to be up to date with how far it evolved. Amazing sounds!
WARNING: haters, try this: sit, stand and follow along. Mimic. Imitate, keep up. I dont think so. This is not number 1, 2, or 3rd place...THIS IS THE MASTER beat boxer. Hands down. Multi- lingual. Class. Smooth. Precision timing. Humble. No false fake bravado here. Choreography. Creativity. TARAS STANIN. the MASTER. undeniable. Unquestionable.
He is really great and very viral, and on a beatbox trend of providing a good singing quality besides multiple instrument, beat mastering. I love that, because I like singing myself, and I can tel that Taras, if he wanted, could make a great career just by singing alone, because he understands it - intellectually. Besides, I suspect he has musical literacy - he knows intervals, cords, tonalities, timings, scales, etc. as far as I noticed from some couple streams that I saw.
But, I already noticed that there are more than one singing beatboxer who could provide quite good competition to tarras - one was from Japan, I did not notice his nickname, but he was good as well. You know - Taras himself told something like this: if the human can do that, I could too. You just need to put mind and effort into it.... and don't surrender for a while - that is when good tallants wasted their potential - they had no patience. Patience, enjoyment of the process is what leads to the success. Sometimes we are amazed about something we could do ourselves if we put enough work into it.

The thing is, with all that production on top of the beatboxing it is not so easy to tell what is him and what is just some effect slapped on afterwards.
Electronics are amazing. You can make almost anything sound good.
Also his collab with Improver -Faded is amazing. Get Up-YA NA HA, the bbx group he's in, will shock you. Taras is superhuman and the group elevates each other. Definitely check them out. 🤩❤️🔥

There's a whole hell of a lot of "sweetening" happening in post, but this dude is, hands down, the best beatboxer in the business, simply because he's a SINGER. He knows how to sing FIRST, and translates all his knowledge into beatboxing. So many of the dudes I hear can't really carry a tune, or they're hit and miss. This dude has PERFECT PITCH. Insane.

Beatboxers have taken a step further,and its a lot of comitment and hard work behind it .
Just as song artist's use technology to make "stuff pop" ,doesnt mean their ability is less good.

Should look up "TARAS STANIN - Grand Beatbox Battle 2023: World League Solo Wildcard #gbb2023" and listen to him without all the reverb and stuff. Shows the raw talent. But it also shows that you cant have a mind blowing song without a good editor. Just makes me wonder.... If given the exact same tools... how many other talented musicians can climb into public focus?

I`m not saying he can`t do all the sounds, but you can`t make an echo or reverb on a high hat and not have any on the bass at the same time.
HIS MIC IS NOT HOT, it`s an edited audio track with the artist MIMING over it.
There is no way of knowing what is what when it`s displayed like this.
It`s so disingenuous when people make it look like they`re doing something live or in one take like this.
People who think the video is when the audio was recorded are deaf.
Listen to all the effects he`s using on the different sounds.
Show me a real performance instead of trying to make me think this is what it`s like when he`s actually performing.
That`s what is happening with these people, they spend dozens of hours editing and producing a track, then they make it look like it`s a one take.
This is what they do to make it eem more impressive, but what you end up with is people being lied to, thinking this is possible live, because there`s one person infront of a mic making it look like a one take.
Make a music video or show people the editing process.
All the fanboys can come at me all they want, gen Z is used to being lied to because nobody is being honest anymore.
It`s a large majority of youtube artists that do this, they make it seem like it`s all live, then they use autotune and pitch correction in post and sell their product as if it`s something it`s not.

Nope. Even beatboxers can't create a studio crisp sound, reverb, echo, nor fade. They especially can't stop an echo mid way. I have no doubt he made most of those sounds but it was edited in a studio.
It would be another story if he did it Live and without a mic.
