I just started it, first season was kind of slow but season 2 is really good and I bet it would have gotten better.

Ok HBO, the series was cancelled, fine. What about a movie? I would love to see the story continued with a 2-hour movie - a tight story with a gripping case.

Gotta say that I don't understand this show. The perry mason of old was smooth, composed, and knew what he was doing. This character is none of those things.
He seemed to know what he’s doing. Or would it be better television if he had no pushback at all and won the case in 90 seconds?

This show is based on the original noir novels in the 1930s. Not the clean made for everyone TV series.
But it’s also his origin story so he is just starting out.
Compared to the original series, this version of Perry Mason is simply awful.
Read the books they are pretty good. This series is closer in tone. Perry does right by his clients but he bends the law quite often.
This actually follows the book that’s why it’s perfect
