Damn. When he said it's on sight with the cousin, he meant it.
Man, it's my favorite part of this story every time I hear it. 😂
I'm dying over here 😂😂😂
So New York!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Not gonna lie I forgot this was on sight story, until he beat him on sight
Bro really left the car during traffic just to beat his cousin 😭
“I told him I’m gonna knock him out, then I knocked him out”
As he should, What a piece of shit that cousin is.
This is the part that makes me believe the story. It's just awkward enough that a computer would probably fix that, make it sound better. Only a human can mess up in a way that makes complete sense
@@livetoserve966 yeah an ai would probably omit that.
Had his priorities straight 💯👌🏽👌🏽
“I would like you to meet his biological child” What a Queen
My favorite part is that he kept knocking out his cousin lmso
Lmaooo
Still chuckling over that one, too! 🤣
Not just him bro it was a full on family affair. His wife and daughter got in on the action
He wasn't lying when he said On sight bruh☠
😂😂@@notbam4023
This was pure perfect. I don't care if it is real or not but man, the OP had no enemies, he had no hate or drive for revenge in the end. He must be a great man
Op is thorfin fr 🗿🗿
this is a story so bizarre, with so many twists and turns, ups and downs, that only life itself could have come up with it
@@knutella666 not really, it feels like a story like the ending made it feel like a perfect little bow was wrapped on everything like a story
@@ultraboy2669Agreed it just feel fake to me, seeing as I just find it weird that the fact that the cousin or a lawyer never pressed charges for all those assaults he endured...
@@knutella666 I think the story and it's updates were over years. Given enough time, life brings twist upon twist.
When your grandmother tells you the story of Abraham so you tell her to get the fuck out of your house never gets old
That shit was funny as hell 💀
That killed me rip my rib cage ☠️
I LOVED THAT PART. That was so funny to me.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 classic
Jesus this man’s life is Telenovela, just twist and turns. I’ve heard this story couple times but man these updates really take the cake
I mean it’s obviously fake. Therapists can’t just disclose confidential information. Beating someone is illegal when not in self defense. The cousin would have had OP locked up. It’s someone’s disturbing fiction.
"la familia torqanta" 💀
Not actual name tho
Facts. Same here. The part where he shouted out dude at the fair and dude surprised that he was real and that this was true. Crazy
Damn, OP and Luna were put through the ringer
But Marisol really got screwed
OP didnt ruin her at all, even if he thinks so, his cousin did.
Cousin didn't love Marisol, he coveted her, like a thing to possess, like the cute upstanding Christian girl at his church was to one day be his trophy
And he went on to assault her, brainwash her child, then throw away said child...All because he was jealous of OP and wanted to spite him
I'm glad she, Luna and most importantly OP all managed to find a way to live a happier life in spite of that man's crap
In the end, all his victims got the best revenge - living better, kinder lives than he ever could thanks to everything he pulled.
That’s the effect forgiveness has on you. I don’t think he even realized that’s what was happening, but after all of that, what he needed was forgiveness, both of himself and his cousin, and I think spending that time together did just that. He showed compassion on him, and I think his cousin passed peacefully because of that.
I’m not a emotional person when coming to stuff like this but damn at the end I was trying not to cry
The ironic and incredibly sad thing about this whole story is that, whilst the cousin didn't want OP to ruin Marisol, he ended up doing it through his jealousy.
I heard this story before listen to this 5, but I agree the sadness
What i loved about this story is this Op was real the fact that OP AND ROBERTO WILL FADE ANYONE WHO MESSES THEIR FAMILY IS PURE GOLD
Man, idk how fake this is or isn't
If it's real, then oh my god that is crazy
If it isn't, then this thing is better written than many novels out there
I always say that "If you're gonna go online and tell a fake story, at least try being a good writer" and damn this doesn't disappoint
Exactly my thoughts.
@@ricardodemarco3486 There are posts from redditors who met him at the fair. TBH, I thought it was fake too, but it's real.
The Marisol married my step-brother killed any hope of this being true to me
Then the death of the cousin
But the writing is wholesome
i feel it has too many twists and too much going on for it to be real but if it is holy shit man im glad he and luna reconnected
@papibatti-battv7842 step brother? I thought he said Brother in law.
After listening to the worst doormat from yesterday who wanted to die for a cheater, I needed a happy ending like this. This is like night and day. This op is a real man.
Man, that update was tough to read... I'm actually tearing up as I type this.
In the end, despite everything the cousin did, he still was OP's brother (as in how they were raised together). By staying with the cousin in his final moments and allowing him to have some closure, OP actually got the closure he himself needed as well. With this, he, Marisol and Luna can all move on for good.
I guess the final lesson of this story is that forgiveness is hard, as it requires us to let go of our anger and hatred. But it's the only way we can truly heal.
Can you send me where the written version is?
Yeah, this story has me feeling all kinds of ways right now
I listened to the original story when you had posted it, and now I've finally gotten to listen to the update.
Honestly, it's such a great story where everyone could move on and be happy. It actually made me shed some tears.
the last bit hit me its super fkd how a sht a person can be you still feel for them when they pass
@@Row-Low well I cannot picture me ever hating my brother regardless off what he did, go no contact? Yeah sure. Refuse to forgive him? Yeah sure. But only hate him? Never. That's my little brother the only person who was with me my entire life.
He could become an awefuo person but that doesn't erase the good we had together. As such how could I ever not feel sad if he died, regardless of if he deserved it or not? That's pretty much what has happened here, I don't know how hard it must be to hate a person's actions while loving the person too. I can totally understand where OP is coming from and I think it was good he could spend these few weeks with him, as it allowed him to find some way to make peace with his basically brother. It's invaluable.
@@dariusgunter5344 my issue was with my mother after i got a job i got used, token for granted and treated like shit until i moved out and even right before i go she burns me for one last time. after a few years she passed and it was painful.
Link?
@@denniscebolinha1451 bro the first 30 minutes of the Story are the original, the rest is the update, he hadn't put a month ago.
The part about running into Redditors at the Idaho State Fair made me burst out laughing. Seriously though, this guy should turn his story into a memoir, it would make BANK
That last bit with his cousin broke me. Letting go of anger is divine
I sorta find it funny and awesome that it was Jocelyn who insisted on making the paternity test.
Seems like the right thing to do for a partner you love deeply who is traumatized from that issue.
No biggie. I would insist on it for any of my babies.
That is a movie material story, OP. God bless you and your family.
Joslin is the real hero in this story. What a woman 💯💯💯
1:55 he got stabbed in the shoulder and defended himself from probably being stabbed to death and he got sent to jail for a month did the place not have cameras
even if it didn't depending on how good the lawyer is they'd put a gang banger away. The plea if he took it was smart.
dude this was like 18 years ago or more
again even if it was now. They will try and put the gang banger away. I can't explain enough how little jurors have sythphoty towards gang bangers even if they are in the process of turning there lives around. once a gang banger is they always are. It doesn't matter that gangs attack there own when they leave. It doesn't matter that they are attack by other gangs when they leave. jurors don't care. it's like an 81% conviction rate on all white juries. for people of color. So it's like a 66% convic normally. Which is kinda high as we do not have police reform and a lot of things required in the USA for effective policing. @@martinkonieczny7216
Dude, the story already had me teary eyed, but when he said the quince song was “Cinderella” it broke me. If you haven’t heard it, give it a listen.
I believe this to be real and my heart goes out to OP he had dealt with so much the betrayal of three people he trusted most, the loss of his perfect life, moving away from everything he ever knew still lost in his anger, even finding out that rather than cheating on him his cousin was a slimeball crossing the biggest line you can cross other than murder (yet had the nerve to say OP would ruin her because he was a gang member).
honestly this would make an amazing movie
I found it real ironic that the cousin spoke so negatively of OP & his past, then he went on to harm everyone he "warned abt OP" in some of the cruelest ways imaginable.
Dude said his wife had a double hysterectomy 😂😂😂 women only have ONE uterus 😂😂 fake af
The ending is like a Perfect thing to end it on , the cousin the man who caused all of this died a slow and painful death , his pregnant fiance ran away woth his baby , everyone in the family hates him but the only person there is OP , the person that the cousin ruined the most , very well written and im a Man who doesnt cry commonly yet this brought me teary eyed.
From the way the cousin described the "encounter" as "[he] manipulated her & had her for all of two seconds before she realized what she was doing & pushed him off, but it was already too late", it's obvious he knew he took advantage of her. I'm a little surprised no one clocked it, since I got that feeling right away & it was confirmed, but I also get way it wasn't so obvious (especially to OP).
I feel immensely for the daughter discovering the circumstances of her origin, but I'm also glad she got to get a few swings in on the jerk. I'm also relieved she has a full support system, as I'd imagine they could very well have saved her.
But goodness. That cousin is a real piece of work, so I'm glad Luna was able to get away from him early on & eventually come back to her dad. Admittedly, I'm a sucker for chosen dad stories, so it made me happy to hear both parties coming to better terms.
Same the cousins statment was like no shit it was rape she froze up and resisted how did op not clock thats a form of rape
What bro expects us to think when he says his life a movie:
Ah finally some closure to this story, I swear this could be a movie.
A tv drama moms watch while making dinner
obsessed with anyone who thinks this story was fake bc of the name Marisol
Well, I do think it’s fake. That’s definitely a dumb reason to say so.
I feel like they pronounced it wrong
Yeah I Definitely think it's fake as well
@@Sunnie-xi3ppbecause it’s an AI reading, hasn’t figured how to say Spanish names
@@newvision4l314 yeah the only problem is that if you don’t see the words you would think her name was hyphenated and spelled Mary- sol
I wish this OP all the happiness in the world: He deserves it for everything he went through and what he chose to do.
Wow. I had heard the story before, only the last update had been after his wedding. Holy moly, macaroni, was that full of twists. I hope they can all find peace through this.
That burden is gone my man, because you forgave him. It also shows you're a good man, only a decent person can forgive the wrong done to them and move on with their life.
‘She asked me if I could give her away. I agreed and we all got shit faced.’ I dunno why, but this sent me. LOLed for minutes.
This story is both sad, yet fulfilling... a good ending for the father, daughter, ex-wife, and he made peace in the end... that is the hardest thing to do in life, regardless how life is... everyone has struggles... whether it's the size of a speck of dust, to a the size a trailer... we all deal with situations differently. Many people, whose lives were fucked up, never make peace... so this is a very good life story, and lesson
I have never heard the full version of this before. Thank you it's appreciated 👏.
this one made me cry its truly an incredible story
When he said it's on sight to his cousin lol 😆 🤣 boy op wasn't playing
I remember watching the other one this account posted, OP and the others went through some serious hell. Im glad theyre doing better, healing and forming new relationships, growing as people one day at a time.
The ending has me tearing up, i cant imagine how OP felt being the only one to bury his cousin. After everything the cousin put him through, remembering the good times instead of the bad, and finally letting go of the pain... may you be truly happy and blessed, OP.
The fact this all began with his cousin and ended at his cousin’s grave.
A path of hardships and letting go of hate. The ending always brings a tear as it’s such a bittersweet moment that he let go of his anger towards his cousin and was able to truly move on in life.
This video is always nice to just rewatch and listen to from time to time
Ngl, this made me tear up. I hope this man and his family are doing so well now, no more pain, just happy and surrounded with love.
I heard the first part of this a while ago. Talk about a family. The good, bad and ugly. This was what a Christian man should be. You have the anger, and sometimes you act on it, but, you give grace a chance to work. I am amazed at how much grace op gave and received. God Bless everyone in this story, even the cousin.
Cinderella is the song I always associate with my dad and sharing that experience with another father and daughter is so beautiful. I have been in tears on and off for the entire latter half of the video.
Honestly, I'm just so proud of them, of op, of his wife, of his daughter and her husband, and even of op's ex wife. Everyone suffered so much hurt, they hurt each other, they were hurt themselves. But somehow they managed to start healing.
Something beautiful came of a tragedy and the end just feels so right. I hope they can all continue to heal and find happiness in each other
This man has lived a life time in such a short time
I seriously didn't expect to cry this much, the pain all the people mentioned went through just felt crazy painful, the feeling of melancholy of how life play with you, test you, and then tell you to pick the broken pieces and walk the charred path if you want to live. God bless us all with patience and strength for all the test that await us.❤
This story is my favorite, I hope they're doing a great life
It is a story of pain, heartbreak, love, and redemption. What a story! Bless u for sharing.
Well time to listen to this amazing story again.
The best part? Bro PROMISED his cousin that it was on site. And he KEPT that promise even after some years 😂😂
i was looking for this commemt😂😂
Thank you for the updated reupload, this is one of the stories that I'm really interested and invested in.
Gosh this was a heartbreaking story years ago when I first heard it and with every update it gets more and more heartbreaking. I hope you can find peace now and honestly I just hope that family has happy times coming to them. Even the ex-wife, because even though she f***** up big time, that kind of trauma or any kind of trauma that's that violent will f*** you up and if you don't treat it and you deny it happens it's only going to get worse. It's funny how he always says he's a horrible guy but honestly it sounds like one of the best stand-up men you ever going to meet. Remember forgiveness and letting go isn't for the aggressor it's for yourself so you can move on
Best life turn-around of all time
Possibly the most beautiful story I’ve ever sat and listened to 😭
dude, you're the best reddit story channel everywhere. that time stamp thing is something i see the first time on any channel. keep up the good work
Family of straight hands🙏😭
This story sounds like it could be made into a movie.
There might be a Lifetime movie similar.
I love even after all them years his cousin is On Sight 😂😂
Listen... I feel bad for Luna. She said stuff when she was a confused teen. She has had a tough tough life, and I think OP has showed a lot of progress. He is a good man.
Also, Joslin really is an angel. Mending family is her first goal, and I absolutely love her attitude.
This man needs a damn movie.
I'm happy for OP that in the end he finally found some peace.
It kinda feels like a story because of how OP was actually able to change for the better and ended up making peace with the cousin
Oh wow this story- favourite yet. Absolutely heartbreaking and heartwarming
Idk why, but I laughed so hard when he told grandma to get the f out😅
I’ve heard hundreds of these stories over the last months. And this one, is the best one I’ve heard.
Marisol only said no as she was being raped by the priest? Man, I am sorry for her. It was really not the time to freeze from fear. Pretty much as a mug or a fight on the streets, not defending herself at the best of her capabilities ended her life. I am sorry for her. Let us remember in life we must fight.
God bless this man and his family
this man's life story is like a soap opera in writing
How selfish can you be to be so concerned with yourself when you're partner was stabbed?!?!? Then to go and sleep with the partners family member?!?!?
Clearly didn’t finish the video
(Rewriting this after watching through to the end:) How selfish can you be to be so concerned with yourself after your cousin/brother figure was stabbed? Then go sleep with/take advantage of his partner?
(Additional piece:) Then, instead of being apologetic or anything despite clearly knowing you took advantage of your cousin/brother's partner, you go on to manipulate the child you forced into the world to turn against your cousin/brother, only to immediately dump said child?
And all of this was because... Your feewings got hurted? Your poor wittle heart gotted a big boo-boo? 🥺
@@avocado1845her being "raped" somehow justifies the paternity fraud and the years of abuse I guess
You can tell that this story is real because only someone going through these emotions could explain them like he did
Marisol was wronged and she had to pay the price heavily not only losing her own daughter but even her own husband
Damm. This brings tears to my eyes
I just want to wish this man well. It was a good story, and I believe every word of it
im crying man. I hope this dude has a blessed life.
i went through all the stages of grief listening to this
This is the only story on this page that has ever made me cry.
This 😢 fking breaks me and have sympathy for marisol. She did nothing beforehand when i watched till update 3 i thought her as a cheater only but not after the whole 6 updates video it truly breaks me about her situation. I hope she recovers from all this ❤
I can only think that you updated the day after I linked this because I did. I like looking for updates on reddit but with you this is the only story I've been able to find. Because I was already aware of it. If you make it easier to find by adding the ops name I'll continue letting you know about updates. At least on the ones that interest me enough.
I wanna comment on his commitment as a father. He really did do his best, and decided he was gonna follow through. Even after learning that Luna isn’t his biological daughter he still continued to commit to being her father. He knew in his heart that she didn’t ask to be born in that circumstance, and that regardless of how she was born he was her father through and through. His strength of character is both inspiring and greatly impressive. Kudos to you OP, you’re strong as fuck and we’re all rooting for you. Own that shit, man
this will be a good telenovela series. i love it. watched it few times, always get watery eyes. And now the ending... feels like telenovela lol
I've read this before the cousin had leukemia and just up to the wife's abusive ex, to finally hear the ending is so heavy. I faced trauma and betrayal to from a family member, someone you're supposed to "trust", and was also raised from a Christian family, so forgiveness is a big thing here too. I've now long separated myself from the toxicity and live as peacefully as I can while trying my best to heal from trauma. And one of the things I struggle with the most is the concept of "forgiveness" of course I refuse to forgive my abuser, never. But I do relate with the heaviness OP felt, even through all the steps I'm taking to heal it's just hard to get over someone you treat as a family betray you to such an extreme. One day, when my abuser dies I hope this burden will lighten as well, I wish when that happens I'll be able to think of all the good memories we had and just be able to mourn the person they were before my trauma. fingers crossed that it happens sooner. lol
This has got to be one of the best stories I've watched....does anyone know if he has made an update?? This story needs to be a movie!
this ending omg.. I cried tons
hope OP and his family can have a good life
I remember hearing this story last year. Shit crazy man. I’m happy dude was able to get his life back together
Such a emotional story, i was crying for the whole video.
Honestly, out of all of this (assuming it's true) is that Luna turned out not to be a little shit in the end. I was so angry hearing her ungrateful and dumb remarks. God, in some ways I wish this story true, but then that means poor Marisol got so screwed over. Just royally. That poor woman. Yeah, she caved for a few minutes but then her brain reset and and said STOP. I hope she and BIL stayed together and learned to love again.
Just a story about a bunch of broken people trying to save themselves while helping and hurting one another
What do you think would happen if she told him she get raped....
This made me greet like a baby, I'd love to see a movie or series based on this
This is definitely one of the best stories on here. What a whirlwind.
Wow... This is the first story I listened to that made me cry. I hope this family is okay and still healing and being stronger
Love how kept his promise to knock out his cousin whenever he saw him 😂
Best story ive heard so far mad respect for that man
Even tho my favourite part is he told the dude he'll knock him out every time and he did so, I'd like to say Joslin is the real MVP of this story.
This needs to be a movie. Maybe even a sequel to "American Me"
Wow. Thank you for sharing ❤
This is so sad. Left her for cheating, felt bad for cheating, but really she was raped. No family deserves this.
Put this story on as background noise while doing chores, ended up finding a comfortable spot on the sofa and sat in silence listening to it.
Chores- 0
Emotions- 1000
That random voice change halfway thru scared me
Could’ve all been avoided if Marisol used Plan B. I guess people have different ways of reacting to trauma.
ol boy truly went through a lot of growth in this one.
these audiotaped reality dramas are honestly more addictive than tv series, kdramas, movies or anime. i put one on in the background in my phone while working and casullly mutter " KARMA , BISH" while typing up my homework assignment.
This story has alotof emotions. It almost felt real. It has this strong aura of anger and hurt. I have a feeling is a real story.
Its finally over and you finally were able to forgive in the end. Sometimes you cant and sometimes you cant until the end.
