- Here it is, my new to me late 2017 model BMW M240i! It's been a long time coming but I'm glad I waited for the right spec! Big thanks to James for helping out with the filming, and another thank you to Seb for the excellent thumbnail photo.

Great choice. Always fancied one of these in M Performance guise. Love the spec - ideal would add sunroof and adaptive suspension too but they are like gold dust! Those bronze wheels look awesome against the paintwork - don’t change them. Think some M Performance side sill stickers would finish it off nicely. Looking forward to future videos! 👍🏽
Did almost exactly the same Z4 to M140i. You need to map this Joel be interested in your way forward with this one

Got mine 1 week ago, from 07-'19. Same colour as your's. Great car. Only need's a bit of a stance look and a proper exhaust. Can't wait to start modifying. Happy to see another m240i owner that know's what he wants. Greetings from Belgium

Looks a nice example! Definitely needs the MP Diffuser though. I fitted one on my 235i yesterday and it makes a massive difference.

Just found your channel as I am picking up this car on the weekend also from Liverpool and also with 27,000 in full black with red leather and all the optional extras. Got wireless charging but, not the heated steering wheel. Your videos have been great information and help for me buying mine

Hi, Joel! My name is also Joel, and I also have a M240i. Have had it for four years now (2017 model) and never tire of driving it. Mine has a Dinan Stage 1 tune, CAI and midpipe. It hauls ass! You made a fine choice - I'll be owning mine for a very, very long time as I think it's one of the greatest performance bargains, for what you're getting, in the market now. Cheers, mate!

I went with used Boxster S 981 as daily after driving M2C that I could get new for the same money.
Still keeping my Z4 :-)

A week ago when you asked us to suggest what your new car might be I guessed it would be one of these. Well either this or a classic Reliant Robin, but I think that maybe the mighty 850cc three wheeler was probably too much for you to handle so you went for the M240i. Good choice, enjoy! 👍

Will be following your adventures and thanks for tip on RBM in Hook as that’s 25 mins from me. Personally I think the M2/M240 is the spiritual successor to the original M3 in both size and performance

congrats Joel! you inspired me to buy a Z4 e85 3.0 , had it for 1.5 years, sold it and traded my daily, a Mazda CX-3 for a 540i G30. What can I say, this engine is amazing and you always find excuses to use the car!

Great car mate,and nice colour choice too,get yourself a quicksilver exhaust and an airbox and top quality stage 2 remap,and you will surprise yourself, sadly the suspension will need upgrading which will include the diff,but hey,its only my suggestion,look forward to your interpretation, good luck mate....

Nice car, like the grey and red, will be nice to see some 2 series content, I have a M235i which i love. Can recommend Bob Williams for the exhaust if you want a better noise.

Absolutely stunning car! bought myself a m240i recently and I cannot get over how good those wheels look! Do you have the specs for the bola b11's?
Get a aftermarket exhaust my suggestion is active exhaust. This thing really opens up and sounds amazing with it. I have a 2019 m240i x drive. Mines got a financial exhaust system on it. Amazing daily
Amazing spec although having driven an m140i with adaptive, I had to get one with adaptive with mine. Look forward to mods in the future, subbed🤝

@@itsjoel I think they are part from BMW Original M-parts so it shouldn´t be an issu but i know from the Audi RS2 wheels that they tend to scrape with the original wheels on.
Swap out that silver interior trim with the M Performance Carbon Fiber and Alcantara trim package. Don’t forget the steering wheel trim piece, the gear shift and surround piece and the e brake. 👍🏼
