Direct and efficient. Thank you so much for your help.
Thank you! Really helped me way better than the scan gauge instructions. Ready to try it!
Glad it helped!
Perfect instructions. Thanks!
This is only good Scanguage II set up video on CZcams!
Thank you
Thank You for the Video ! ! ! I noticed you entered # 7 as the last number in the MTH category, Did you change that or did it work ? They had # 8 as the last number ..Just curious, I order one of these and going to install it. Thanks again and stay safe my friend :)
I just watched your video.. thank you for making this video by the way.
My question is if you program in a code and it is not the correct code from the list what does it display so that you know it's the wrong code?... I was hoping to program this tonight before we leave out of town pulling my camper tomorrow
I believe if you program wrong code it will not give you reading
Great video
Thank you!
Where did you get the bracket holding your scan gauge?
Thanks for video helped a lot
I got holder from amazon: amzn.to/44ctpMJ
Perfect! Thanks! BTW is there a link to the scangauge holder you’re using?
You can buy from amazon here: amzn.to/3QFNGWP
Using xgauge 1, did that replace one of the pre programmed gauges or add another gauge to the tool.
I believe it added
out of interest, if you wanted to get temp in Celsius (we live in Australia), could this be done? Thank you anyway for your great help. Had we known about this sooner, it could have avoided husband having to rebuild his transmission due to overheating. Cheers
I talked to manufacturer about transmission temperature setting to Celsius too, but I was told that trans temp can only be displayed in Fahrenheit. I'm in Canada, so wanted in Celsius as well.
You need this to be installed to avoid overheat: czcams.com/video/dcQjqibB3mc/video.html
Hi could you make a video how to set up your scanquauge regarding the transmission temperature for Toyota Camry? I bough the scanguage through your link thanks bro
Unfortunately I don't have Toyota Camry to make video. But the company that make this tool is very helpful, if you send them email - they will help you out.
Can I used this scan gauge to my 2019 camry to see the transmission fluid temp to check the correct fluid level ???
I would suggest to look at their website: www.scangauge.com/support/compatibility/, they have lots of good info. Also, they are very good at replying to emails - www.scangauge.com/about/contact-us/
Have a scan gauge 2 installed in my 06 honda pilot. Followed your video and it shows numbers but they fluctuate a lot, never sitting at a certain temperature. Any ideas?
I just got one, haven't hooked it in yet ,but I saw something in the instructions about changing the sample rate can settle that down.
I purchased the scangaugeii to get the tranny fluid temp for my 2004 Silverado. I went online and followed the steps but it did not work for me. The codes I needed to enter were the same you entered. I know you don’t work for Scanguage but any ideas on why it didn’t work would be appreciated, I also tried the alternate code that the website provides. Thanks in advance for any info.
You can ask them on their site for code for your vehicle. They are very good in responding. Here is the link to form: www.scangauge.com/about/contact-us/
@@NewRoad ok thanks, I reached to them and they were able to help.
What mount do you use to stop the Scangauge 2?
I use this phone mount - it is good for both, phone and scangauge: amzn.to/37rpS2l
Is 77TFT mean 77 fahrenheit or celsius? This is a lot of work to setup. For 145 bucks you would think it would just be ready and working out of the box.
Trans temp is in fahrenheit. The reason you have to properly setup is because you need to properly configure for your vehicle. Once it is setup - it just work. I have not touch it for years now
@@NewRoad great thanks. Can you store multiple vehicles?
vs Shift OBD2 app ?
How can we extract codes for other sensors ?
Steps should be in manual or their website. Also, they have really good customer support - you should be able to find their email on website
Mine didn’t work. Anything I may be doing wrong?
Send email to their support email - they are very good at helping properly configure. Most likely you got incorrect code. www.scangauge.com

Show is this gadget how much the engine uses fuel?
Yes, it does. Here is more information about it: www.scangauge.com/products/scangauge-ii/
@@NewRoad thanks, how many gas ⛽ used youre 3.7 per 100 km?
It depends whether it is in city or highway... 13-15L
E
holy crap can it be anymore tedious, screw that
It's not that bad
Better than drilling into the pan etc, to install an aftermarket trans gauge
This is how Tutorials should be done🤌
