Also, a hug Thank You to all the Disney Cast Members that helped out with this fun video. I could not have done it without you.

Hey I think that escalator you rode is the tallest and longest clearspan escalator in the world!
HAHAHAHA I am not kidding your comment made me laugh! For reals I LOL'd
@@provostparkpass Here for it!! ahah great video as usual!
Interesting. I have fond memories of the parking lot that used to be where DCA is now. I remember being the one who was "responsible" for remembering which character we were that day. :)
OH MY GOSH I had the same job when I was younger
I love the parking structure, my favorite level is Donald!!
8:19 “What have I just done with all my money!” I think every parent feels that way after a 5 day vacation. Well worth it but when you said this, I was LOL.
I actually work RTP and work the structures, it’s a great fun job everyone in our department is amazing. Thank you for showing us some love!!
Sam it was my absolute pleasure. You guys are amazing. 💙💚
I have fear of heights; those tallest escalators would be a no-go for me.
I loved how Chris kept going on and on about the size of the structure. My smile got bigger and bigger every time he added another one.
I was cracking up with Chris riding the long span elevator down! His face priceless! had a hard day and I could not stop laughing! Thank you!
It’s the worlds longest clear span escalator if you didn’t know. 😂💚💙
Amazing. You actually made a video about a parking structure fun & enjoyable to watch. Well done!!👍
Thank you. 💚💙
The company my dad works for built that parking structure. The finisher that did the floor used that same finish on my old driveway. He told me about the hidden mickeys and I’ve never found them 🤣
NO WAY!!! That is awesome!
This video had such a calm energy. Yes, it was about a parking structure, but it was really good.
Great video! I remember when this parking structure was built! Our family lived in Orange County back then & we had the SoCal annual pass when it was $99. I paid $25 extra to add parking because my kids & I came often! Those long escalators were so fun! Now we live in AZ, & my adult daughter & I come about once a month or so with our much more expensive Magic Key pass! But we stay in a hotel within walking distance so we're never at the parking garage anymore. Now that the trams are running again, we might just have to take a nostalgic ride over there & go up that escalator on our next visit! Anyway, thank you for this video! 😊
Thank you. I am thrilled you liked it.
Fun video and I'm glad you got to see the Hidden Mickey. The parking cast members really do a great job of setting a great tone for the day.
They are the best
🤣 “what have I done with my money” is what I also say at the end of my Disneyland trip once I get to the parking garage, lol
So true!
Funny memory! My mom always used to say we're parked at Goofy! No matter where we were 😂 we could even be in a Walmart parking lot and she'd say "Remember we're parked at Goofy!" Good memories ❤ RIP mom
Good memories. Rest In Peace mom. 💚💙
I just want to say YOU’RE amazing. My boyfriend and I just discovered your channel and we are HOOKED. Thank you for all that you do & I hope we bump into you at the parks sometime. 🙏🏻😊
We’ve parked in that structure dozens of times. If they park you at the furthest point from the elevators it’s a long, long, long walk. On the green level that long, long, long walk is called……..the green mile!
Oh my gosh! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@@provostparkpass
Oh MY garsh, as Goofy might say! The Green Mile on the Goofy level? Love the reference! That hidden iTunes card is getting warm...!
On my last trip I parked at the Toy Story lot because the trams were still not back and didn’t want to take the long walk to the entrance and back
The escalators remind me of the ones at Universal Studios Hollywood that connect the two levels of the park.
Hey Chris! Made my day to know you’d want to skateboard through this huge lot too! :) skateboarding is a big part of my life and so is PPP!!!❤️
🛹💚💙
I recently went to Disney with a few coworkers and I was the tour guide because of you guys and all the information about the park and hidden secrets. You are a lifesaver 🥰
What a fantastic video. This was so cool. Love the secrets reveal videos, especially the parking structure. Love Disney for putting a hidden Mickey. Congratulations on finding it .
Congratulations, Chris. You just made me want to pay for parking just to explore the parking structure. I never thought I'd want to do that! Leave it to you and Disney to make something so simple so fascinating! Thank you for this video!!
Yep, I am going to disneyland and I can't wait to see this structure!
Chris, I have no idea how you made me interested in a PARKING GARAGE, but you did. Excellent video as always!
Thank you so much. Your comment means a lot to me
At first, I thought, "WHAAT??? The parking structure? That's nuts!" But I am loving it. Last time I was in that parking was 2018, when my daughter-in-law got us a GREAT B&B about 1 mile away. So I paid extra for the "Special" parking! And the first place they sent us was up on the top, close to the escalator but out in the HOT HOT sun. Oh well. I still just loved being there. The LONGEST, HIGHEST escalator I have ever seen. I loved it. The next day we parked in PPP. The third day back to the Mickey parking because I liked it better. And got a GREAT parking place shaded and close to escalator.
What great memories
Parking CMs and security have been so helpful. They use AAA for towing and/or battery help if needed!
They are some of the best CM's around
Honestly, this is the video I didn’t know I wanted, and I am so happy you made it
What Year Would You Skateboard In A Parking Structure Because This One Was Built In 2000?
Long time ago
My family is laughing at me tonight. I showed them your video, and they can’t stop laughing because you say “WHAT?!?” in a high voice exactly like I do to my kids. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Sassy, cute, good dresser, dances, keeps her man in check.....is Amanda Daisy?
I still remember driving up to the front gates of Disneyland and parking just to the right of the turnstiles, in the Club 33 parking lot (pre-DCA & Grand Californian construction).
Ahhhh, those were the days. *Sigh*
I don’t care what they say. This is still a great place to park your car! 🚗💨
Always love your videos, Chris! You have the talent and knack for making the most boring things fun and interesting. I want a photo of the hidden Mickey from the Daisy level next time I go! What is the best thing to bribe the parking staff with???
Chocolate. Obvi 😂💚💙
LOL at your units of metric analogy 😂!
I have only been in the Parking structure one time. I do remember parking out on the lot back in the late 70's and walking up to Disneyland gates.
Wow.
Great info and fun hidden Mickey
I've only been in the new parking structure a couple times before I moved away from the area. Before then I can only remember ever ending up in the Eeyore section of the flat lot where DCA is now. I thought it was really neat how the parking staff lined up all the cars as they came in to the lot back then.
I've had wonderful experiences with many of the cast members over the years, but overwhelmingly, the parking crew and Galaxy's Edge cast members have given me the most good moments in the park.
Almost for opposite reasons too: Galaxy's edge has the most in-character staff, total immersion/escapism. Meanwhile the parking lot, not being themed, feel the most like chatting with your neighbor or something.
I wish I could double like this video...... well honestly all your videos. Thank you for all y'all do. 💙
coolness. who knew someone could make a cool behind the mouse video on the Parking Structure.
Thank you.
Thanks Chris!
You bet!
Awesome video! I really liked the size analogies. It’s so massive!
Hahaha loved this and all the interesting facts! You’re awesome 💖
All the things that can fit inside the parking lots 😅🤪🤦🏼♀️
That's for the informative video. Loved the fun facts.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The Parking Cast Members are so fun!
Awesome video! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
They also dont use the letter "I" so when you look at the parking sections it jumps from H to J. When I worked in parking I never asked as to why they dont use it. Also if you somehow forget to take a picture then please remember the time you parked. RTP tracks the times we parked each section.
Hey PPP! Main Street Electrical Parade comes back on April 22nd! Let's get a secrets revealed!!!
There are actually 2 hidden mickey's in the parking structure. Former RTP CM.
Mickey is located on the structure's Daisy level, in section 2A (two spots away from the pillar).
Mickey is located next to a pillar between Daisy 3A & 3B.
Holy cow💚💙💚💙💚💙💚💙💚
❤🎉❤ wow 🤩
You crack me up! 😁 Which is why I watch your vids every morning as I get ready for work. Puts me in a good mood for the day 😌 🤗
Awesome!
We parked on Minnie alot on Sunday after church but early days goofy
And when you lose your car the cast is very helpful 😀
I prefer parking chip and dale
Great video Chris. Watching your videos here in Spain and getting the chance to relieve my time as a CM. Spent a few third shifts at Mickey And Friends. Thanks for what you do.
Just love your videos! Definitely helped make our trip last July even better with all your info! We won’t make it back to Disney for a while, but we are going to Universal Hollywood in April. Any chance for secrets revealed Universal videos?
Great video Chris! This is so fascinating and I love your hard work that you put into these videos! The parking structure looks amazing and I love what Disney has put in and they really know how to mess with your mind so well. Those escalators look really long and I don't think I'd be able to stand a second for that long. I had a fear of escalators when I was a kid and today as an adult, that fear still lives with me. Thank you as always for this wonderful Disney content! Another video I request you to do a video on Nature's Wonderland.
Now that’s interesting.
I cackled at the statement “What did I do with all my money? What have I done?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think we’ve all done that 💚💙
LOL, The Parking structure mystery SOLVED!!! Thanks Chris lol...WHAT!!!! That's OK, WHAT!!! Thant's OK, WHAT!!! That's OK,etc. ROFLOL Your the best
😁
So interesting but Chris did you know that that parking garage has the two longest and highest clear span escalators?
Samuel I am not kidding when I say this. Your comment made me LOL for real I laughed out loud :D
I hope this video gets 633,333 likes! Thanks for this one. Great info.
Hey! I like that number. 😂💚💙
Back before DCA existed and that area was a parking lot, ham radio volunteers worked with Anaheim P. D. and used telescopes atop the hotels to try to spot people breaking into cars there.
We met you last weekend. At DCA. With my wife and grandson. You didn’t like my DisneyLAnd hat. But here’s a secret about the parking structure. Did you know that I helped build it in 1999.
I was the welding inspector
No way!?! That is awesome. And yes I remember your hat. 😂💚💙
Sea you at the parks
Why have I never noticed Chris has a tattoo!? A star?? Cuz you’re a star obviously 🤩🤩
Excellant video Chris!! btw, how many cars does it hold?
Hi Chris, I love your videos of Disney Parks. But, how can I get a backpack like you carry in the videos? With CZcams on it. Please let me know. Thanks
Interesting vid. Enjoyed it. Cant wait for the next one!
We had to park on level 1 at Mickey and Friends for our first trip because we had a Thule roof shell on top of our Outback. It was a happy accident because parking was faster. Although the poor and very nice cast members did have to help direct us differently since it was our first time. It kind of felt like we were headed toward the exit so we were a little confused. 😂
What a cool memory. I've never been lucky enough to park on level 1
New greatest quote: If you don't play football, that's okay!
Chris, every time I go to the Mickie and friends parking structure, I think to myself while walking to the insanely long escalator..."I wonder how many trowel marks there are in the concrete" 🤔
Birds of a feather. 💚💙
Never have used 5he parking structure… but used Tram when they used to transport Paradise Pier guests to Disneyland area. Wish they still did that.
PPP, you could make watching dried paint interesting! Seriously love every video you make.
I Googled is: Clear Span is a term in steel frame construction. It means there are no support columns.
I love that you looked that up. 💚💙
Thank you for showing us around the parking structure...I have a video you can do in the future do soarin in California Adventure.
17:24 Hi to the random lady in the back thanks for the thumbs up! 😂
Great video!
Thank you
Do you know why the Parking Cast Members are so organized? They have a "lot of structure".
Omg that’s is amazing. 💚💙😂🤣
Thank you for this video! Fun info and great tips. Where could I get a beanie with the Disney "D" on it?
Those are cast member hats
Thank you for the great video. Any significant reason behind the star tattoo? I’m always curious of the story behind them. Thanks.
I’m glad you like the video. It reminds me of someone special
glad you appreciate us CM's i am one at WDW though lol!
Doesn't matter. We love all CM's
Clear Span means that there is no supports but for each end of the escalator
OBTW: The earliest working type of escalator was patented in 1892 by Jesse W. Reno, and was actually introduced in 1896 as a novelty ride at Coney Island, a theme park in New York.
I love that you know this. 💚💙
You have any openings for the research staff???
When I was an otr (over the road) truck driver they had us pull through the ground floor full of vehicles like work trucks and other things ( nErVe wRaCkInG😬😲🤪) and turn between two pillars to pull out the other side just so we can park by the campers behind it. Driving through was almost one of the most exciting things we did that day. It was tighter than the Missouri salt mines, I had to drive at......4 MPH.
Holy cow I would be so nervous
This was fun. Thanks Chris.... So what is the difference with the PPP parking?
It's smaller
Oh, that's it? Thought they would have done something different or special for it... Although it dose have that walk over bridge to Downtown Disney dosen't it?
Totally different parking structures.
How many spaces were in the parking lot that DCA now sits on? Just wondering since we now know how big Mickey and Friends is.
And this is a great video! Keep it up Chris.
I’ve always gripped on so tight my hands starts to sweat as I go up the escalator for Minnie’s parking. I’m taking the elevator from now on.
Same 😂
It's basically the scariest ride at Disney :D
How did you manage to find an empty parking level? Every time I go to Disneyland, the parking is full. I love you star tattoo on your left forearm by the way. You should do a secret reveal of the meaning of the tattoo
All depends on the time he arrives and how busy we are at RTP, level 3 is the final floor parked so from opening till about 11:30 level 3 is usually empty. Expect any car left from the previous night.
Maybe someday I will. 💚💙
Hi there quick question, so can we park at any parking space if we paid for the parking online? Like can we park at the mickey or toy story parking garage as we wish to or no?
man I see those purple tiles on Daisy's level 5 days a week. I always thought they were grey. 🤣
My son almost wouldn’t get on that tallest, longest clear span escalator in the world when he was a little boy. I just took him last week at 22 and he was still hesitant!
We lost our car in the building 😂.
This was right before COVID so I clicked on the video to relive that day 😊
😅
We stayed at the Grand Californian hotel on our only trip to Disneyland, so I’ve never seen those escalators. Curious as to how they compare to the ones at Universal Hollywood when you go from the upper park to the lower. Those at Universal are pretty steep, but obviously not as long.
I still get the Willis from escalators.
Me too
One thing too, if you forget where you parked, they can usually tell you the general area by the time you came because they park cars in sequential order.
Wow that size comparison was a hard one to get through!
you got a tattoo!😲please explain the story to this!😁
I think Pixar Pals has the same colors on each level as Mickey and Friends, but not sure. Will you do a video about Pixar Pals?
They do share the same colors
I remember who is Chip and Dale by remembering Dale (with a D in the name) has a red (with a D in the color) nose. Clean span = it spans from top to bottom with no additional supports besides the top and bottom. Attraction shut down due to bees... Orange Stinger? I'm still bee-wildered why Disney thought that was a good idea for a ride theme.
You are to smart for you’re own good. 😂💚💙
It's surprising that the escalators are taller than Universal Studios...also, skateboarding that would be fun
Has Chris always had a star tattoo on his arm? I'm just noticing it after watching so many videos 😱
💙💚🤫
