once I've minted my "gas-free" NFT, if anyone wants to buy it has to pay the gas fee (2.2 ETH = over 3,700 USD!!!!) - who's going to pay 3,700 dollars fee for a $200 NFT?

Its not working for me. When i tried to mint it, My Meta mask did pop up but its telling me insufficient funds. There is no option to switch to a free version.

What am I missing? I minted 2 items, it gave the confetti and popped up on the page it was listed. But when I go to my profile, they are in “My NFT’s” and not in my “Items listed”. Also, the NFTS have “Sell” and “Transfer”. So I try to sell them again and they won’t list. Then I notice it says I need a store to sell, so I go to create one, and the gas fee is $632! What am I missing?

I guess they are YOUR NFTs now, And you have to pay to sell them, No one can own those images cus they're yours and the only way to sell is by paying gas price. And that price seems too high so I guess you should just keep it there.
(That's just what I think)

I tried to follow this tutorial and attempted to sell NFT but the problem is I am required to set up a store first, which actually requires gas fees of around $ 500 or more, depending on the value of the etherium; I guess it's not totally free after all from what I was previously made to believe in this video. :(

Not only do I write and release music but I’m an artist and have a number of large corporations that have collected my paintings. Being an older person and limited knowledge in this area, is there other videos you would recommend I watch? As I’m interested in turning my works into NFT’s. Any advice would be greatly appreciate.
I recently released a video about Audio NFTs, a little more in depth. I recommend you give that a watch, and after you're done just google searching "Audio NFTs" should bring up pretty good articles where you can read even more in-depth to better understand it
As for paintings, you could literally take a photo of your physical art, upload it and mint it as an NFT, then when someone buys the NFT they get the actual physical product as well.
So NFTs are a good way of monetizing (and tokenizing) any form of art you do

How can I create the store on mintable. The process seems to be taking too long now. Any advice. I keep getting a message saying "Network is busy. Gas prices are high and estimates are less accurate". It's been nearly a month now and I want to start selling my nfts asap.

Did you try to buy your own gasless fee NFT or an other NFT in the gasless fee store on Mintable ? I tried, the gas fee is payed by the buyer and it was greater than $1,700.00 ! So, no one is going to buy your NFT because no one is going to spend $1,700.00 in gas fee.

It's impossible for a platform to ensure 0 gas fees when all other platforms are having such high prices, there is always a catch, and I doubt a youtuber with 466 subscribers will sell you this secret without expecting anything in return. !!!!NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS WORLD!!!! NFT is just another scheme (just as cryptocurrency is) for others to make money, you as an artist you have 0,01% chances to sell your work in this way and make real money.

I mean... It's true, the way you view the world is a cruel truth, but why bother being so negative, why would it not be free? Blockchain should be free! The goal of the crypto community is to make services like this affordable for everyone, transaction fees are getting lower and lower, minting nfts should be a very low gas fee! If any at all. Big NFT sells could fuel minting for example. There's a lot that can be done, and the future will be amazing

Here’s a short answer: Think of who the buyers are. They’re usually on the wealthier side, looking to buy an NFT for $500+ and sell it at a profit at a later date. To ensure that your NFT has value you need to offer something that goes with it. Since you’re not beeple or some famous artist, maybe a collection of NFTs would be easier to sell rather than a single piece. Like for example a halloween theme, with 5 different halloween types of NFTs, with each new addition giving more value to the ones you’ve created

NFT stands for non fungable token. Fungable = the only one. Making copies defeats the purpose of that being the only one, or anyone would just copy all the ones that are worth more money, right?
@@BryanEnsign Wrong, there are lots of artists selling multiple copies of their work. Obviously you'd only do it once, like a limited edition sale.

Gas fees will just lessen profits. Art NFT artists should check out NFT Tech. They offer free minting fees and they're gonna launch soon!
Yes it is free on Mintable , but you would not be able to sell it easily because not it's on buyer to pay the fee.
