    🧰 WHAT YOU NEED:
    1) USBA-to-Micro USB data cable
    2) USB thumb drive (any size your computer can recognise)
    3) 2x Windows computer. Computer 1 is your internet-connected computer while Computer 2 is your “throw-away” computer.
    4) Firmware update files (Download link below)
    ℹ️ UPDATE PROCEDURE:
    1) Unplug the X1 from the dashboard of your Tesla
    2) Download the new firmware files from the below link using your internet-connected computer 1 and copy them into a USB thumb drive. This link will contain sub-folders in YYYY-MM format. If you see multiple sub-folders, you only need to get the latest one

    3) Unplug the USB thumb drive from computer 1 and plug it into computer 2.
    4) Launch the system update utility software “GD32DfuDrivers.exe” directly from the USB thumb-drive. This software will install the necessary Windows drivers so the firmware update software in step 6 can detect the X1 when you plug it into the USB port of computer 2.
    5) Click the Install button. Once done, click the Cancel button to dismiss the application.
    6) Launch the firmware update software “GD32AllInOneProgrammer.exe” directly from the USB thumb-drive. This software will update the firmware of the X1.
    7) Plug in the X1 into the USB port of computer 2. Click the “Connect” button as soon as the X1 is detected by the firmware update software.
    8) Click the “Browse” button located on the “Download” section of the software and open the firmware update “BIN” file called “X1_TESLA_20240703.bin”.
    9) When prompted, use the Hex code to 8004000
    10) Click the “Download” to update the firmware of the X1.
    11) Click the “Disconnect” button and unplug the X1 from the USB port.
    12) For the second time, launch the system update utility software “GD32DfuDrivers.exe” directly from the USB thumb-drive to uninstall the drivers there were installed under step 4. This time, click the “Uninstall” or “Remove” button. Once the utility has finished running, click the Cancel button to dismiss the application.
    13) Plug the X1 back into your Tesla and test if it fixes the issue
